Management is claiming I was a "no call, no show," which is a blatant lie. I was physically present at the facility. I explicitly requested the security camera footage to prove that a teacher hit a child and tried to grab me but they have repeatedly refused to provide it to me. I finally told the staff member to call me only when they actually have the footage ready. Worse than the administrative dishonesty is how they handle safety. I brought up a severe incident where I was almost assaulted inside the classroom. Instead of taking this safety breach seriously, the staff member in management literally smirked in my face and acted like it never happened. This place allows teachers to hit and roughen up students without any consequences. Do not trust them with your safety or your children. They do not care about security, they hide evidence, and they laugh at violence. Avoid this place at all costs!

We have been with Wonderland for one year and we want to continue to be with them but my oldest is going to an elementary school that is on the opposite direction, so now I have to take my little one out of Wonderland. It was such a hard decision because they are so awesome and accommodating. You won't go wrong with this school. Each teacher has a heart of gold. They see each child like their own. Both of my children love coming to the school. They feel safe and cared for. I recommend taking your child to the school and see if they truly fit with the atmosphere. They do follow the Montessori style in which they respect a child's choices in learning. My daughter started reading at two years old. By the time she was four years old, she was able to read a Dr. Seuss's book on her own. This is because of Montessori style embraces children's development at each stage. Each child is different in their speed and interest. This school help harness their talents and geared them to practical learning that helps incorporate the foundations of how to learn and how to think while building their self confidence and self motivation. We love all the teachers here. They all work in unison. We were told we would have small class sizes but his class had 18 kids. 4th and 5th grades were combined. The poor teachers are so overworked. When we brought out concerns to Mrs Bandy she was dismissive and rude. Unfortunately there has been in increase in violent crime and homelessness in the area so we had concerns about safety, Mrs Bandy was particularly nasty about it, saying we should trust more in God's plan. In September, they let go very valued staff including Jennifer Gray, Paule Jones, Scott Himel, Khadi Miller, and a preschool teacher. In the letter to parents Beverly sited low enrollment as the reason. Jennifer was instrumental in running things smoothly and helped us so much. She was the stability. Nurse Paule was so helpful! In summary, Beverly Bandy is ruining this school. She is changing it from an academic and Christ centered environment to only being concerned about money. Beware!!!

She learned to wait her turn, the value of her peers, manners, and was potty trained. At the age of 3 she transitioned into the primary classroom. While the expectation was high, my child did not transition well. Rather than meet the child where they are and modify the program, they tried to modify my child. As a result she retaliated to the point that she was no longer "allowed" to participate with her peers for meals, or even playground time. It wasn't until we left CMS and I had her evaluated by educators far more experienced and qualified than the staff at CMS that I was reassured that she was just behaving poorly due to being in a stressful environment. My word of caution to other parents out there is that CMS is not a school of inclusion but rather exclusion. Maria Montessori would have never allowed for such a hostile "learning environment" or exclusive parameters from her "guide." I would definitely seek out other alternatives before enrolling at this school simply because of this experience.
