Sweet find! Thank you Yelp! Soft music in the background and space to spread out. Homemade gourmet desserts and specialty coffees/lattes and matchas. I'm loving the welcoming decor and the drinks were perfect. A great find and beautiful interior. Quiet shopping center. Easy parking.

My parents and sister recommend this place to me. They have so many drink options. I tried their iced biscoff latte and it was so tasty! I'll go back and try some other ones that sounded interesting. It's a big place with lots of sitting areas. Friendly staff too.

Found myself in an unfamiliar to me neighborhood and NEEDED coffee. Found this great shop in a strip plaza. Larger on the inside than it looks from the outside. Lots of comfortable seating and a large counter for ordering. The girl who took my order was very friendly and explained options to me. I ordered a large iced Pistachio Latte which was delicious. Definitely could taste the pistachio flavor! Next time I'll try some of the pastries and desserts! Definitely going back.

This is my second time coming here and I honestly have to say after my move to north Phoenix this spot is still worth the drive to Glendale, Az the space is such a trendy aesthetically pleasing vibe , I'd definitely come here just to chat or get much needed school work . It's located in a calm little plaza near ASU campus . I absolutely love their matcha and I get a strawberry matcha latte from here and it's so tasty ! And the Biscoff cheesecake is to die for ! It's so creamy and sweet with the right amount of crunch . If you haven't already I 10/10 recommend coming here whether it's to get school work done, have a meeting or just have a chat with your friends over tasty treats and coffee .

Location is nestled in the corner of this shopping center. Nice and open, with plenty of seating. Very clean aesthetic. Service was great. First time here so I took my time with the menu and didn't feel rushed. I went with the karak chai (which was solid) and medium bar of Dubai Chocolate (which has a layer of pistachio crunch between layers of chocolate, and twas delicious). My concern were the prices. I expect $6 for the chai and $8 for the chocolate. How we, the chai was $3 something and the chocolate was $10 something. So at the end it cost about the same, but not sure why their video board doesn't reflect the prices I was rung up at. Their website had the correct chai price but a medium chocolate was only 8 there. Like I said, I paid what I expected,it was just split up differently. Overall cute place, good coffee, weird pricing, but I'd swing by again for sure.

This chain offers Arab coffee and other exotic flavors. This place is very spacious and super clean. The vibe is inviting and comfortable. I was so full from dinner we shared the Dubai chocolate and I tried the Rose ice tea! The staff was so understanding since it was our first time, we asked a lot of questions. We didn't feel the pressure to ORDER now.

This cafe is so well designed and the furniture design is wonderful. They have a lot of offerings from dessert to ice cream to coffee. I tried out a large Dubai chocolate and large pistachio frapp. I actually really like the sweet flavor of pistachio ice cream so was a bit disappointed that the pistachio frapp does not taste like its ice cream counterpart. Instead, the pistachio frapp tastes more like the actual pistachio nuts themselves; it's a dull, muted type of flavor. Although costing $20, they give a lot of the Dubai chocolate; I was only able to finish it half of it and kept the rest for later use. What was disgusting though was that there was a hair in the chocolate...The presentation of the whole place is amazing and they redecorate it based on the season too.

This place was nice! The interior was beautiful and brand new with lots of tables and places to sit. It wasn't busy Saturday morning when I went. There is lots of parking. They have a lot of different drinks to choose from and they all sounded really good! There were food items too, including the Dubai chocolate bars. I choose the red velvet latte, which they make with actual red velvet cake batter. It was delicious! I can't wait to come back and try some of the other drinks they offer!

Shaghf Cafe is super spacious and right across from ASU West. They've got a bunch of drinks, desserts, and ice cream. I came on a Wednesday afternoon and basically had the place to myself. I got the Lemon Breeze Strawberry drink and a 12 oz Dubai Strawberries. The drink was really refreshing, and the strawberries with the warm Dubai chocolate were perfect. A little sweet for me, but still really good overall.

Happy Valentine's Day! Strawberries and chocolate is so apropos for today! So I went to Yelp to find a place selling Dubai Chocolate close to me. The place I found was in Tempe and they wouldn't be open by the time I got off work! But guess what? Literally walking distance from me, they have opened a new store (not sure why the new location didn't come up in my search)! How exciting (and dangerous for the waistline) to be so close to this coffee and dessert shop! Such a beautiful and serene place! It's absolutely beautiful. The service was amazing! I can't wait to go back and try some Arabic coffee and more desserts! The menu is filled with so many possibilities! I aim to try everything! Experience it for yourself! You won't be disappointed! #DubaiChocolate #ArabicCoffeeInAZ

It was a last minute decision for my friend and I to swing by this place because we initially wanted boba. However, someone had crossed by us to let us know that this place had JUST opened up and that the food/drinks were good so we gave it a shot! First of all, it is BEAUTIFUL inside. So if you're a big fan of aesthetics and instagrammable photos, this is the place to be! I can see this business really popping off and we got really lucky to be one of the first people to visit. We ordered: -Pistachio Latte: This was extremely good and creamy! It's very rich in flavor so it was a drink and dessert at the same time. I believe they put ice cream and pistachio cream in it. -Dubai Chocolate: They ship their pistachios straight from Dubai is what we were told! If you've seen the viral Dubai chocolate all over the internet, you'll find that here and it's extremely beautifully presented! It was $10 for just half a bar but again, it's really rich in flavor honestly, the $10 is very much worth it and you can split it a part of 4 people if you're not into sweets all that much. -Cheesecake: We originally ordered Biscoff Cheesecake and stated a few times that it was Biscoff we wanted but we still ended up with the regular cheesecake. Because it took so long to get our orders out, we didn't want to tell them the order was wrong as we had waited about 20 minutes for everything to come out :( The cheesecake was made fresh but felt it wasn't anything too special. I had to take one star away only because they did get the order wrong and our order went to another customer, which they instantly got done and replace right away. The service was a little slow but tried to factor in that maybe it was their first day open. Everything does get a little pricey so I'd really go for desserts that are hard to find. The employees here do go above and beyond which we really appreciated!!

    Ho A.

The pistaschio crepe texture is very nice and crunchy. However, it's extremely sweet. If you think bubble tea 100% sugar is sweet, this is 2 times as much. Perhaps in the future, it might be helpful if they could add sugar level for customers.

    Shaghf Cafe

This is the most outstanding coffee and dessert venue I have EVER been to! They have unbelievably creative coffee creations and matcha tea and the desserts....I can't begin to describe. They have croffles on the menu (a kind of croissant / waffle hybrid) and they are delectable! My husband and I got the Dubai chocolate croffle and it was beautifully presented (sorry I didn't take a picture to post). It was crunchy, sweet, creamy inside with a beautiful pistachio and chocolate drizzle. A piece of dessert heaven! I had a "Hot pistachio" to drink. A pistachio latte on steroids with actual pieces of pistachios in the drink! The decor is beautiful. It has a modern feel and it feels like you are sitting in a cafe in Dubai with smooth jazz in the background. My husband and I will return many times over....too many good desserts to try, pleasant atmosphere and staff!!! Can't wait to come back!

Great music playing in the background set the mood, songs like Knock Three Times and Song Sung Blue by Neil Diamond. The lady who helped me place my order, possibly the owner, was so sweet. Patient too, as I made my selections. It was hard to choose what to get as the shop has so many appetizing sweet and savory options on the menu. I ended up getting a chocolate milkshake and a 6-pack of oatmeal cookies I was able to take home and share, including chocolate chip (no nuts), chocolate walnut, peanut butter dark chocolate cashew, dark chocolate pecan, dark chocolate cashew, and oatmeal raisin with pecans (they have a nut-free version too). The taste of everything was phenomenal. The shake had the perfect consistency and a strong chocolatey flavor, yet wasn't too sweet. And the cookies were nice and chewy and loaded with delicious chunks of nuts and chocolate. Honestly, I couldn't really tell the difference between the nut and chocolate combo flavors as the oatmeal was really the highlight. The peanut butter one and oatmeal raisin were more recognizable. ALL of them were amazing!

I recently had to be in the downtown Glendale area - the Yelp machine recommended I hit up Blue Corn Cafe. There's some development / construction in the downtown area so parking is a little limited. However - I was able to snag a spot right along 58th Ave and get a good view of all the cute shops to check out at a later date. Blue Corn was surprisingly busy that morning due to hosting a Coffee with Cops event. I got the low down from a few of the GPD staff that they are consistently rated as one of the best cafes in the city, maybe even the West Valley. They have recently-ish opened up a second location in DT Mesa, which definitely fits their vibe. I was told the owner gets up early every day to bake - I love the dedication to his craft. Like many mom and pops, there are times when quantities are limited. So ofc I had to buy some baked goods to go for my work team! Their muffins are HUGE - like 2 -3 servings per *singular* muffin. I didn't know what I was getting into when I bought 6... hello carb heaven for us. I noticed a lot of sweet and savory options - croissant sandwiches, cookies, you name it. Definitely the muffins were well-enjoyed by all (PSL, lemon-blueberry, red velvet), and the general consensus was lemon blueberry as the winner. It's a small space with not a lot of seating options however there appears to be a back patio that might be shared with other restaurants. I couldn't get a view on my way out. Cannot wait for the next time that I'm in the area to grab more sweets!

This was my first stop, and I'm so glad it was. The café itself is absolutely charming--spacious, clean, and with plenty of seating. But what stood out immediately was the customer service. From the moment I walked in, everyone was smiling. You can tell this is a team that genuinely enjoys what they do. Despite the line, they were patient, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Their coffee selection is wide but not overwhelming. . I went with the matcha latte with pistachio, which was well-balanced. When it came to food, I couldn't decide between my usual go-to (broccoli and cheese quiche) or the bacon, spinach, and cheddar--or even the tomato basil, which sounded amazing. I asked the barista/ server to choose for me, and she recommended the bacon, spinach, and cheddar. It did not disappoint. The crust was thick and perfectly done, and the filling was layered and flavorful--just incredible. I also ordered an ube muffin and was given a complimentary lemon tart (no complaints here!). The ube muffin was exactly what you'd hope for--lightly sweet with a delicate blend of vanilla, nutty notes, and a hint of coconut. The lemon tart was perfectly balanced--bright, slightly tart, and complemented beautifully by the whipped topping. Before leaving, I grabbed a loaf of sourdough to go. They even offered to slice it for me--small detail, big win. And I have to say, coming from San Francisco, I do not say this lightly: this is hands-down some of the best sourdough I've had outside of San Francisco. Honestly worth the 45-minute drive just for that alone. I come from a background in the restaurant industry, and great service doesn't go unnoticed. Everyone here was attentive, kind, and truly invested in the experience they provide. The customer service alone is worth the visit. They so offer Panini's and daily soups.. Their menu changes daily. They also offer Louisiana hot sauce so someone knows what they're doing. I can't wait to bring my kids here next time. We will absolutely be back.

It happened to be a little under twenty minutes away from us so we decided let's do it & they were open late. Hell yeah. There's not a crazy amount of pastries but the selection was great. We got two tiramisus, one vanilla custard lobster tail, some mini cannolis, & the wedding cookies. Everything came out to about $50 so beware, prices aren't exactly cheap. But for one, if you're going to do "bad" then do it right & we also shared with our family of 5 so plenty to go around. & Holy cow, everything was incredible. So indulgent, decadent & rich in flavor. My nephews liked the cannolis, personally they're not my favorite, but if you're into it the mini's are a great option to quench the craving. The lobster tail with the vanilla custard took me by surprise. I didn't think I was going to care for it, but the cold custard was refreshing & the flakiness of the bread was crazy, my taster buds were confused by the textures, but in the best way. They complemented each other well. My ultimate favorite was the tiramisu & the wedding cookies. I honestly wish I had gotten more of the wedding cookies, those things took me back. I grew up eating the Mexican ones & the Italians did it right *applause* But damn, the tiramisu was to die for. I would order that again & again. Perfectly chilled, the dusting of the cocoa powder didn't taste like nesquik--incredible. At first the price had me thinking if we were doing too much, like damn, should we have just gone to Sprouts bakery? But after being able to indulge in a great quality dessert, it was worth every dollar. My only feedback, careful when you're paying at the register. If you're not paying attention, the tip automatically defaults to 18% on the tablet. Only thing I didn't care for. I could see if I was eating at the restaurant, but I just popped in to take pastries to go. So, that was kind of annoying. The service was fine, the girl that helped me was nice, but again I just pointed at desserts I wanted & went home. The location is part of the main restaurant, but it has its own entrance & little room making it feel separate to the Sicilian Butcher. They also carry gelato which I haven't tried yet. I believe they have little tables to sit at also. Highly recommend checking this out so save room for dessert!
