Cute coffee shop, friendly people & tasty coffee. Plenty of seats inside & out. Definitely recommend.

Mocha, Vanilla Iced Latte and blueberry muffin.

A bit indifferent on this place. A neat little shop that is pet friendly. The workers seemed nice but the coffee was a bit lacking . My mocha was good but my wife couldn't drink her Iced Vanilla Latte. She ended up tossing it. Too strong on the espresso and very lacking in the vanilla flavor. Think there are better options for us.

Cute spot in the older part of Peoria just off Grand. It's fairly small and they don't have a lot of flavor options unfortunately. But if you're more of a classic coffee drinker, this would be a good spot. Also, if you prefer a more bitter, straight up coffee taste. Friendly service and plenty of seating.

This place was fun! Definitely one of the better coffee shops on the west side of the valley. They also have an ordering window to use which is convenient for people on a tight schedule. There is indoor and outdoor seating here, and it was medium busy when I visited on Saturday around 1030am. I really loved all of the old school decorations they had here. Lots of vinyls for sale and other fun merchandise. Also some grab and go items. The menu is simple which makes ordering easier. I decided to try Angelica's special which was a cold brew with a delicious cold foam on top that included cinnamon and other delicious spices. My friend and I also split one of the homemade pop tarts and it was really yummy. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in the neighborhood and craving some coffee.

Matcha Lychee & Cuban both with Macadamia Milk

Driftwood has been on my radar for a bit and I was so glad I was able to meet a good friend of mine a couple of days ago. It is quaint inside but we were able to find seating right away as people do come and go. When the weather isn't scorching hot, it will be nice to sit outside under the covered patio area. Alyssa greeted us and helped us with our drink selections. She let us know that we could make our selections sweet or less sweeter if we wanted. Always good to know! This also made me happy; they have macadamia milk (Mac) as an option!!!! WooHoo!! I noticed some different special seasonal drinks and decided to try them. I ordered their take on the Cuban and also a side of the elderflower shaken espresso. The Cuban was good & strong! The elderflower shaken espresso, there was something that tasted off to both me & my friend so my friend brought it up to their attention and I was offered either a refund or another drink. I'm a Matcha freak so when I saw Alyssa making a Matcha drink the proper way, I decided to make the next one a Matcha. They refused to take any additional money as I wanted to make sure that it wasn't anything against them. It was probably me. Since they wouldn't take anything, I just left an additional cash tip. It was super nice of them to replace my drink and not charge. Their customer service is superb and I appreciate that!! I will definitely be back to see the beautiful smiles and enjoy great drinks at this adorable establishment.

I've tried driftwood a few years back, I remember them having a DELICIOUS shredded beef burrito - that sadly they do not offer anymore. Overall I enjoy their breakfast burritos, their coffee personally is not my favorite. I tried a seasonal drink this time, the lychee coconut latte - it didn't taste very coconutty or much like lychee in my opinion. My mom did enjoy the coffee though! We also ordered 2 sausage egg burritos that come with salsa - delicious. The salsa is very fresh and doesn't have any spice to it but good flavor. They also have an outdoor playground that is shaded perfect for play dates especially in the nice weather and a variety of pastries - but they do not offer a menu for pastry or food items so you will be having to ask what's available. FUN FACT: they're connected to a church called Axiom!!

    Cookie butter special with matcha

On a mission to try all good matcha now that I live in west valley and this one totally makes the cut! Tried their cookie butter latte special, but subbed the espresso for matcha. 10/10, perfect matcha color, not sugary. My husband tried the spiced fig seasonal drink and rate 9/10- flavor wasn't his favorite, at no fault to the shop. Great espresso quality and not too milky Only complaint is the lack of substantial food, like a breakfast burrito or sandwich. Their pastry case was a bit sparse, but I would come back and check another time

I was really looking forward to this place -- drove 20 minutes with my daughter for the playground and a treat. Instead, we got rude service and a watery lavender latte. The guy at the counter greeted us with "So what's up, then said are you guys going to order?" and when my mom asked about the pastries, he said, "It's a brown muffin" with full sarcasm. Not worth the time or money.

A cute coffee shop in AZ. It is a big space for it to be only a coffee shop. They do have some desserts which are provided by another business. They have a ton of seating inside and outside with a side yard that has a playground for kids. Their coffee's really good. We've had it multiple times while visiting family in PHX. My husband got one of their seasonal drinks, Mr. Dose (& a long Russian name) he really enjoyed that. I got a nitro pumpkin spice, which was decent. I've had better ones from them. The service is always good! They are friendly and willing to make a drink that's not on the menu.

Everything is a 5/5 My matcha latte was good Service was friendly and quick Ambiance was nice, tidy and quiet must had been my lucky day because I walked in and got a free coffee. People are so nice, sometimes ... =)

Always looking to have coffee dates with my husband as opposed to cocktail dates, we took a drive to this place and sat outside. The coffee was very good as was the pop tart pastry I treated myself to. Inside are a few tables and a couch. Nice place in old town Peoria.

Super cute coffee shop with the right vibes to hang out or study or read or whatever you want! I will say, the coffee is SUPER expensive but very good. I enjoyed my latte and I want to try other items as well. The service was great; everyone is super friendly and nice and my drink was made quickly and correctly. I like how they took an old building in an older, historic part of town and really revitalized it and made it hip and trendy. This is a coffee shop you should definitely check out.

    Honey lavender latte

Love this coffee shop. Had the Cuban and honey lavender latte. Really liked the Cuban just enough sweet and strong to help me work my 12 hr night shift at the hospital. Barista made a small error and gave me a coupon plus fixed my drink, super sweet of her! I'll be back and your nowhere near where i live lol. Use the Facebook ad if still running for a cool bogo promo!

Can't remember what we ordered but man it was good!

Anytime I get/ have to take a field trip for / during working hours, I always look to Yelp for…read morecoffee and or baked goods. I recently had to be in the downtown Glendale area - the Yelp machine recommended I hit up Blue Corn Cafe. There's some development / construction in the downtown area so parking is a little limited. However - I was able to snag a spot right along 58th Ave and get a good view of all the cute shops to check out at a later date. Blue Corn was surprisingly busy that morning due to hosting a Coffee with Cops event. I got the low down from a few of the GPD staff that they are consistently rated as one of the best cafes in the city, maybe even the West Valley. They have recently-ish opened up a second location in DT Mesa, which definitely fits their vibe. I was told the owner gets up early every day to bake - I love the dedication to his craft. Like many mom and pops, there are times when quantities are limited. So ofc I had to buy some baked goods to go for my work team! Their muffins are HUGE - like 2 -3 servings per *singular* muffin. I didn't know what I was getting into when I bought 6... hello carb heaven for us. I noticed a lot of sweet and savory options - croissant sandwiches, cookies, you name it. Definitely the muffins were well-enjoyed by all (PSL, lemon-blueberry, red velvet), and the general consensus was lemon blueberry as the winner. It's a small space with not a lot of seating options however there appears to be a back patio that might be shared with other restaurants. I couldn't get a view on my way out. Cannot wait for the next time that I'm in the area to grab more sweets!

Came for a quick stop--left planning my next trip back. I had about a two-hour break during a track…read moremeet and noticed a small line forming outside this bakery in downtown Glendale--so I decided to go on a little adventure. This was my first stop, and I'm so glad it was. The café itself is absolutely charming--spacious, clean, and with plenty of seating. But what stood out immediately was the customer service. From the moment I walked in, everyone was smiling. You can tell this is a team that genuinely enjoys what they do. Despite the line, they were patient, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Their coffee selection is wide but not overwhelming. . I went with the matcha latte with pistachio, which was well-balanced. When it came to food, I couldn't decide between my usual go-to (broccoli and cheese quiche) or the bacon, spinach, and cheddar--or even the tomato basil, which sounded amazing. I asked the barista/ server to choose for me, and she recommended the bacon, spinach, and cheddar. It did not disappoint. The crust was thick and perfectly done, and the filling was layered and flavorful--just incredible. I also ordered an ube muffin and was given a complimentary lemon tart (no complaints here!). The ube muffin was exactly what you'd hope for--lightly sweet with a delicate blend of vanilla, nutty notes, and a hint of coconut. The lemon tart was perfectly balanced--bright, slightly tart, and complemented beautifully by the whipped topping. Before leaving, I grabbed a loaf of sourdough to go. They even offered to slice it for me--small detail, big win. And I have to say, coming from San Francisco, I do not say this lightly: this is hands-down some of the best sourdough I've had outside of San Francisco. Honestly worth the 45-minute drive just for that alone. I come from a background in the restaurant industry, and great service doesn't go unnoticed. Everyone here was attentive, kind, and truly invested in the experience they provide. The customer service alone is worth the visit. They so offer Panini's and daily soups.. Their menu changes daily. They also offer Louisiana hot sauce so someone knows what they're doing. I can't wait to bring my kids here next time. We will absolutely be back.
