This place was located near an appointment I was leaving, so I decided to try it out! Not super busy on a Tuesday morning at 845a. There was indoor and outdoor seating, lots of bright, natural light inside! They also roast their own coffee beans onsite which was really cool! The two baristas working were super friendly and helpful. I ordered one of the seasonal drinks, and it was pretty good. The banana bread was also delicious too! I would come back here if I was in the area again!

I also tried the strawberry espresso tonic and I did not like it (but I won't take off points as that may be personal preference). However, I stopped in the other day and got a large oat milk latte and it tasted like I was just drinking oat milk. I don't think they add extra espresso considering the size of the drink you get which is a huge bummer.

Got their seasonal drink named Matcha Colada. So so so good! If you love matcha and coconut, this is for you! Free-WiFi was a plus and not too busy. Was able to sit at a table and work for a couple hours. Barista was nice and even helped me choose what to drink. It's a hidden gem I would say. Good prices!

Wonderful little spot with plenty of seating and a chill vibe. The pistachio iced latte is my favorite and the best pistachio I have had. My partner loves that they serve express tonic. Their coffee is really great and the espresso is great as well. This is probably the best coffee shop in the area or surrounding, I drive out of the way for this coffee and it's worth it every single time. They do have online order ahead and it's an easy order and usually ready. There have been times it's not even started when I get there and I order 10-15 minutes ahead. If I could recommend anything it would be to get the online ordering down and use a quality canned tonic vs a bottle. The bottled tonic is usually flat when they use it which kind of sabotages the coffee. Overall LOVE this place.

Cute coffee shop in Glendale Arizona with nice drinks. We got the dirty chai and the honey latte, we liked them both, they were definitely worthy of a solid 4 stars. We liked that it was sweet but not too sweet, you could taste the coffee but not too much. All in all a good experience. The service was fast and friendly as well.

Simple but smooth and delicious. I personally have a hard time finding coffee in AZ I like and this place is consistently good to me. Service is always fast and it's such an aesthetically pleasing coffee shop.

I ordered one of the seasonal drinks, the caramel cold brew, i added cream as i know i like a creamer drink. i felt the foam had no flavor and the cold brew was okay.

I wish Union Coffee Company existed close to where I live! It's the type of environment I long to work in and struggle to find in the sea of coffee shops trying to appear loud and hip: quiet conversations, music on low volume, minimalist, lots of space, pretty wall murals. The service was friendly and quick. Barista took great care in making my latte. Caramel pumpkin spice latte was one of their specials and I opted to give it a try. Quality was excellent. It's foamy and rich, just how I like it. I asked for minimal sweetness and they obliged. It didn't really taste like pumpkin, maybe a hint of it if I really paid attention, so a tiny disappointment, but I still really enjoyed it. The sprinkle of cinnamon on top was great. A standout coffee roaster in Phoenix for me!

Since I live close by, I come here fairly often with my friend. They're very simple in their aesthetic which I enjoy. It's not loud and I feel like I could get a lot done if I am working on my laptop. I love their seasonal drinks. I always enjoy picking out different drinks every time I visit them. Went in for the first time today. The place was nice, and I have to say the coolest part about it is that they roast their coffee in-house. I am pretty simple when it comes to coffee. I ordered a 12 oz salted caramel latte. To say I was unimpressed would be an understatement. The best way I can describe my first sip is depressing. I wasn't transported to my happy place like Happy Gilmore. Instead, I was greeted by what tasted like a cup of warm milk. There was no salted caramel flavor. There was no espresso flavor. Just milk and disappointment. I have my own espresso machine at home, but since I had an appointment around the corner, I decided to give this place a try. Unfortunately, the customer service wasn't much better than the latte. I wasn't greeted with a smile, thanked for my business, or told to have a nice day. The customer service was drier than the Arizona heat. For almost $6, I expected more than a cup of milk. I expected a latte that actually tasted like espresso and salted caramel. Maybe I'm the odd one out for expecting flavor when I order flavored coffee, but I don't think that's asking too much. I am always the first to say that just because a place is packed doesn't mean you're going to like it. Would I have gone back and given them another chance instead of writing this review? Absolutely. Unfortunately, I was on a tight schedule and couldn't. I'll stick to the barista skills I learned while working at a coffee shop and continue driving past this place knowing I won't be stopping in again or recommending it to others. read more

Staff here are always so sweet! They do allow dogs inside. We came here specifically for the patio area with our dogs but the staff insisted we bring them inside. To our surprise we saw other dogs too! It's so hard to find dog friendly spaces. Grateful for this. My second time here. Ethiopian pour over the first time around was great and bold. This time had the dirty chai - great as well. read more

Kinda disappointed to be honest. I've heard good things from others about this spot and the coffee (with the higher price tag) left me wanting more. The vibes in here feel very corporate millennial--uncomfortable metal chairs and a lack of warmth for a coffee spot. I got the cold brew latte with non fat milk and brown sugar. Honestly, the cold brew was not my favorite. And I was disappointed in the selection of snacks/pastries in the case. It looked like a very sad selection even only around 8:30 in the morning. If the cost was lower, I'd consider coming back. But overall, for the price and not great experience, it's a pass for me. read more

Been coming here for so long! Literally since they opened. Love their beans, I never leave without a bag & honestly that's what has been making me come back. Their coffee is great! But customer service is terrible. They really lack common courtesy & kindness. Reached a point where I just won't be coming back. I'm not expecting Dutch bros vibes but simply being greeted or call your drink/name when it's done instead of being stared at would be much better. read more

Long Overdue...they all know us here when we come in! Moved back from CA and knew we had to find our local coffee roaster ASAP! Looked em up on Yelp, and came in. Lots of parking, industrial feel, roasting done in the main area (which my little guy loves to watch) and simple menu. Prices are fair, and coffee is always on point...not over-roasted like some big chains out there. Custom drinks on rotation at the order counter, and always willing to provide a vegan option. I used to love Union Coffee and would stop by whenever I was in town, but sadly I won't be coming back. The drinks have become so inconsistent, and I don't know if they changed something with their espresso machine, but the coffee is weak now. We ordered three drinks: a matcha latte and two strawberry lattes. The strawberry lattes were so watered down, they literally tasted like strawberry syrup mixed with watered-down milk. It was gross. The staff were nice enough to swap them out for two new drinks. I decided to play it safe with a hot vanilla latte, and my boyfriend stuck with the strawberry latte. Unfortunately, neither of us liked them. Again, you couldn't taste any coffee, and they both just tasted like steamed milk. It's disappointing, but after this experience, I won't be coming back. read more

Needed some caffeine and was by Union and decided to stop in. It's super bright and clean inside and I was greeted quickly with a friendly smile. I ordered a cold brew latte and an iced latte both with white mocha and Carmel. The drinks were made quickly and I was on my way. The coffees were both actually pretty strong. We didn't care for the cold brew as it was our first time trying and it just wasn't as sweet as we normally like it. While the iced latte I felt had more flavor it wasn't up to my sweet standards either lol. I'll definitely be giving them another try and just ask for extra sweetness. I usually don't write reviews but Union should be the highest ranked in the area. If you know anything about coffee then you know all of the other shops in the area are serving you overroasted, stale, non-specialty coffee. You could travel 20 minutes across town to get another good cup of coffee, but why? The atmosphere has always been nice when I've been there. The outlets are few, but most people are pretty nice about letting you plug in if needed. I can't understand how anyone has given them a bad review. If you actually like coffee, real quality coffee, you'll love it here. If what you actually seek is 15 pumps of syrup, one shot of espresso, and a gallon of milk, you might be better off going somewhere else. Or just get a white chocolate mocha and enjoy the taste of a real flavored latte. Coffee Tip: Get the Colombian brewed in their French Press. Perfect. read more
