Ok this place is such a hidden gem and I need everyone to know about it (or not because I could see this as the next place people line up for and ya girl does NOT want to stand in a line). At the time of this review, they've only been open for 4 weeks so they're in their soft opening! DRINKS The Earl Grey matcha was so good. The matcha color alone was incredible, such a vibrant green. Not too sweet at all, and the Earl Grey infused milk was the star. You get the bergamot without it overpowering the matcha. AMBIANCE Loved the decor here. The flower shaped coasters are cute, and they have real flower arrangements on the tables. The Vietnamese decor pieces throughout are beautiful and you can tell a lot of thought went into it. Even the walkway to the bathroom is decorated, with a selfie mirror. CUSTOMER SERVICE The owner (I think it was him?) was friendly and made us feel comfortable right away. He brought us an iPad with images of the drinks, which was helpful since I'm a visual person and always struggle picking off a menu. OVERALL Love! As someone who is from the Bay Area, the drink quality is on par (dare I say, if not better??) to the viet coffee shops back home. Will be back to try the other drinks and croffel soon :-)

I visited this new Vietnamese coffee shop with some friends on a Sunday morning, relatively soon after its grand opening. Especially being a weekend morning, the shop was packed! Despite how busy it was, our service was attentive and enthusiastic. I loved the large golden phin's at the counter (phin = metal vietnamese coffee filter). The decor itself was cute and classy with flower-shaped cork-board coasters with the shop's name on it. Collectively, we tried the salt coffee, Vietnamese iced coffee, matcha latte, and matcha einspanner. Personally, I got the salt coffee, so I can only speak for that drink. The salted foam paired super well with the vietnamese coffee base. The coffee itself had a strong, bitter coffee taste with perfect sweetness. My main complaint is that the coffee didn't feel heavy and strong as expected from vietnamese coffee. Although I enjoyed my experience at this coffee shop and the taste of my drink, I was looking for more OOPMH in my vietnamese coffee, especially since I didn't order the latte version. Despite this, this shop is one of the better Vietnamese coffee shops I've tried in Phoenix. Especially since it's new, I have high hopes the coffee can be made stronger over time with constructive criticism! I'm sure the nearby Midwestern University students would appreciate it too!

Inside seating from the couch Plenty of small tables for groups of 2-3

Beautiful and clean space. Plenty of parking in a private plaza. Plenty of tables for big and small groups. The interior is beautiful. There's WIFI! Peak the beautiful gold Phin they have to brew their coffee. Wonder if they will serve as is, hot? Charge as a house drip? Beans from Vietnam! Matcha Earl Grey - personally love that earl grey flavor! It's not overly sweet. Matcha is real. Love the cube ice!! Ube Coffee - you can tell ube cream is thoughtfully curated. Coffee is strong, and tasteful. Owners are sweet and informative. Can't wait for the egg coffee to come onto the menu!

Really cute and new Vietnamese coffee place! They have so many things to try, but we enjoyed the most popular Vietnamese coffee: Cà phê sữa đá (Vietnamese Iced Coffee with Sweetened Condensed Milk). It was very good! I want to try other drinks on the menu, but if this coffee is any indication of how good they will be, then I know I am in the right place! I loved the atmosphere and vibes, and it felt so cozy. Many people were hanging out, studying, talking, etc. and it's a great spot to do so. Customer service was awesome; everyone was friendly and kind and helpful. Happy to have this place in our area and will be back soon!

The drink is fine, tasty and made fresh, but I have an issue with the size of their ice cubes. It's so big 1/2 of the cup (16 oz) is filled with large chunky ice, where's the drink? Expect me to pay $7 for ice ? NO THANKS.

We were excited to try this new coffee shop in the north of Phoenix! The cafe is impressively spacious inside and had plenty of tables and sofas with a chessboard. Ordering was simple and they even have an iPad with pictures of the drinks. We tried two: the double matcha and matcha einspanner. The matcha cream top was really solid, but the matcha itself was milky and not strong enough (especially for a double matcha). The matcha einspanner was also weak and unfortunately did not have much matcha flavor. However, they are still in their soft opening phase and probably working the kinks out. They also mentioned they will be adding new drinks once they fully open, which we are excited for! Their coffee looked really good though, so I would try that next time.

Absolutely loved Phin Brew! This is such a unique and cute coffee shop hidden gem in Glendale, AZ and easily one of my new favorite coffee spots in Arizona. The space is so aesthetic, clean, cozy, and has the perfect atmosphere to sit and actually enjoy your coffee instead of just grabbing it and leaving The Vietnamese coffee was SO good!! It has the bold and flavorful taste that I love about Vietnamese coffee. I also love that the menu has variety to choose from as well including a set for matcha drinks The staff was super welcoming and friendly, and everything felt thoughtfully put together from the drinks to the overall aesthetic. You can tell a lot of care went into this place. Definitely worth checking out if you're a coffee or matcha lover, especially if you love authentic Vietnamese coffee! I'll absolutely be coming back to try more of the menu!

I came here while visiting a friend and I'm thoroughly impressed!! I specifically requested we try this place because I live in Chandler, and I have already explored pretty much every matcha option in my area. I'm soooo sad it's so far from me, but this place is probably the best matcha I have had in Arizona if not in my top 3! The cafe is very clean and great for studying or hanging with friends. I would love to come back when I'm in the area!

Was so excited to see a new Vietnamese coffee shop in my area and tried it twice. I had the marble coffee and the coffee was not as strong as I expect from a Vietnamese coffee. I also tried the double matcha and the matcha wasn't very strong. The cream tops for both drinks were pretty thin, I would've preferred it to be thicker. The shop was cute and seems like a cool place to just chill. The drinks weren't great but not terrible either, I will probably still come back because this shop is on my way to work. Anyways it's either this or Lola coffee so I guess it just depends on what I'm feeling for the day.

My friends and I decided to stop by and check this place out, and we were honestly really impressed! We ordered the Vietnamese iced coffee, Salt Coffee, and Matcha latte. All three drinks were really good and full of flavors. All three have rich, smooth, and full of flavor. You can tell they put a lot of care into making their drinks. We honestly enjoyed every sip and were pleasantly surprised by how good everything tasted. The ambience was also really nice. It had a cozy, chill, and welcoming vibe.. it is perfect for hanging out with friends, enjoying a drink, or just relaxing for a bit. Overall, we had a great first experience here. The drinks definitely hit the spot, and we'll be coming back to try more!

Vietnamese Coconut Coffee with a croffle

Phin Brew is such a beautiful little spot, and you can really tell it's a family-run business. What makes it even more special is that it's one of the few, if not one of the only, Vietnamese coffee-centered cafés I've come across in Arizona. It's really cool to have a place that puts Vietnamese coffee at the center of the experience rather than just having it as another option on the menu. I got the Vietnamese coconut coffee, and it was incredible. It was unbelievably smooth and rich without being overly sweet, and the coconut blended so well with the coffee. It had this creamy, almost dessert-like texture while still letting the coffee flavor shine through. Definitely a drink I'd come back specifically for. The croffle was just as good. Crispy and golden on the outside, soft and buttery on the inside, with the powdered sugar and syrup adding the perfect amount of sweetness. It paired incredibly well with the coffee. For a new family-owned café, Phin Brew is already something really special. You can tell there's genuine care and pride behind what they're creating. I love seeing unique small businesses like this bring something different to Arizona, and I'm excited to see how much they grow. If you haven't tried Vietnamese coffee before, this is definitely a place I'd recommend checking out.

    Marble Coffee

Went in for the first time and got the marble coffee and Vietnamese coffee. Marble coffee was good,it was a nutty flavor which I like. I'd give it a 4/5. The Vietnamese is strong, not sure if you can add flavor to it. My husband likes it like that so it was good to him. They don't serve hot coffees and I believe they only have one size. The service was great, super nice staff. The place itself it's so vibey and cute!

Annoying, honestly. But we walked around Home Depot next door to kill the time. We sat outside and were disappointed most of the chairs had not been cleaned (almost all of them had some bird poop on them), but we managed to find two chairs that were clean. The chairs themselves are not comfortable, though, and I would be remiss if I didn't warn my thick thigh/bigger hipped girlies to let you know they have wire bucket chairs that can be very uncomfortable to sit in. All that said, the food was good! The service was also good. We enjoyed our coffees which were very good, shared an apple pastry warmed up that was very flavorful and fresh, and shared a high protein egg white plate all very tasty. Would we come back? Maybe. Also: how are you called the black and white cafe and don't have a black and white cookie?! Seems like a huge missed opportunity there! Overall, the dining experience outside was less than desirable with the dirty tables and chairs. Also them not serving food when they opened seems like a mismanagement issue. But the food was good (so perhaps we would recommend sitting inside rather than outside).

Parking wasn't too bad. Place was empty when I walked in witha good amount of tables and seating. Lots of Bible verses on the wall. I wondered if this was a newer boba shop. Lady at the counter was on the phone and didn't answer my question. I asked which of the milk teas she recommended and she said the golden milk tea aka classic. I ordered a large with easy ice, 50% sugar, and honey boba. Menu price is $7 and $1 for boba, but total came out to $9 for some reason. It even says tax is included in their prices, so not sure what the extra $1 was for. Drink was ready in a few minutes and I was on my way. First thing I noticed was the color: very light and white. Strange, as I expected it to be darker. Flavor wise: sweet and no tea flavor, disappointing. Tasted like a powder too. Boba balls were good; chewy and cooked nicely. That was a small redeeming factor. Overall not impressed with this spot and probably won't be back. Expensive and quality is not up to par.
