I stopped in after getting Yelp directions since I wanted to eat Indian food and it mentioned Buffet on Yelp. Upon getting there the manager said no buffet but order using menu... I told him that they should have corrected buffet timings as Saturday/ Sunday. Anyway I decided after reviewing menu I liked few items so I ordered Egg Bhutto/ scrambled eggs -spicy w/ onions tomatoes cilantro ! Mixed in it.. great trading item with buttered Naan - Indian bread.. I really enjoyed quietness as only few people showed to eat at tables but many had carry out ordered so they waited to pick up their orders. They basically cook items when ordered that's why I should give five star but bad signage saying buffet ad you enter premises without specific about Sat/Sunday.

We decided to come here for lunch, and I heard the buffet was pretty good. It is under new management, which usually does nothing for me. I ate here one time three years ago, and it was bland, and no sparks flew. This time, to be honest, I was expecting the same outcome only because when they say under new management, I always think it's a line to bring new customers in. So I went and tried to have an open mind, and I'm glad I did; it was delicious. It was one of the best meals at a Buffet I've ever had. I can't tell you all the dishes they had out, but there was something for everyone's taste with two kinds of rice: Allo Tikki and Vegetable Pakora were two appetizers, and one was brought to the table called Samosa Chat. They had two types of Tandoori chicken for the main dish, one bone and one-off in a white curry sauce, Butter Chicken and a Beef dish, noodles, and much more. This place is a must-try if you like Indian food. If you're new to Indian food, there is no better way to try it than at a delicious Indian buffet. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is wheelchair accessible, no smoking, and has clean restrooms.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It also has adjacent rooms for banquets, weddings, and big parties[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. I did not see a bar. I did not see that they had alcohol to serve. The prices are fair, and I will definitely be back. I learned something new: if a business says under new management, maybe it really is. I'm glad I was wrong.

Covid Takeout Review Did a GrubHub takeout from Shagun Palace yesterday, and was very satisfied with the result. The restaurant is in the rear of a shopping center on Street Road, Bensalem, where there is a significant cluster of South Asian kitchens. Competition being severe, the quality is higher than in many more isolated Indian houses. Our order: Veggie Samosa for an appetizer; Chicken Korma, Chili Chicken - Dry, as entrees; and Baingan Bartha (curry eggplant), for a veggie side; and Garlic Naan to soak up the sauces. The foods were all very good to excellent, with kudos to the korma and dry chili chicken, which displayed spice skill with the sauces. The bird was perfectly cooked, and not at all dried out. If there was a weakness, it was the Naan, which appeared premade and merely heated in the oven before wrapping in foil. It was thicker and drier than normal, and not the least bit flakey, nor with expected air pockets. There was practically no garlic flavor. Next time, skip the naan. There are talented hands at Shagun Palace where they are allowed to perform their magic. They are masters of curry cream reductions, but make a mistake in not carrying the expertise through to their breads. If they lack a tandoor for BBQ and Indian oven breads, they really should invest in one. It would make Shagun a more complete 5 Star experience.

Chicken jalfrezi is my favorite here along with Chicken Vindaloo. Buffet is well worth it on Saturdays and Sundays to sample different foods.

That lunch buffet was DELICIOUS! So much variety! Just the right amount of spice! I got there at 11:31am and everything was ready and piping hot!! I was seated, received my naan, had three plates of food (lol), got my mango lassi to go, paid my bill & was out the door by noon in time to hustle back to work hahaha. I will definitely be back!!!

Tons of cheap Chinese American dishes like found in most corner take out shops, plus for dinner the addition of a few higher end items like steamed crayfish, shrimp, crab and fresh fish fillets in various spicy or sweet/sour sauces. These last ones are only available after the lunch service is over and the crowd rushes in for supper. Very large dining room accommodates several hundred people at once, and the buy in is only $13.99 for lunch and $18.99 for dinner. Price is right. Beyond all that, there is also more traditional American fare like chicken wings and fries for the cuisine challenged. Too, plenty of sushi and desserts from jello to cheesecake, not to mention a chocolate fountain when it is working. Problem is that almost everything is cool when eaten from sitting around on the serving tables so long, and the quality of the kitchen is about the same as found in most corner Chinois Americano houses; which is to say, mediocre at best. However, if you focus on the seafood and shellfish, you may feel satisfied. I saw many people with plate fulls of crab and cray or shrimp, up to their elbows in breaking shells and sucking out the meat with abandon. Those folks really got their money's worth. The rest of us, well, it was a closer proposition. But, witnessing how into it my lady was (at least three plates piled high with broken and crushed crab shells), I suspect we will be visiting this old joint with some frequency, along with the thousands of others who can't get enough of too much.

Although this has been open for a while, I don't think the quality has decline at all. One of the standout features of this restaurant was its extensive food selection. The variety of meats available for Korean BBQ was truly remarkable, ranging from beef bulgogi and marinated pork belly to tender chicken and flavorful seafood. The quality of the ingredients was top-notch. Moreover, the hot pot offerings were equally impressive, with an array of fresh vegetables, seafood, and delectable broths to choose from. The ability to customize my dining experience according to my preferences was a definite highlight. Although it feels like I am eating less and less each time I come because maybe I am not able to eat as much I used to. Ha What truly set this restaurant apart, however, was the exceptional service provided by the staff. The waitstaff were knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive throughout my entire dining experience. They were more than willing to guide me through the menu, make recommendations based on my preferences, and ensure that all my needs were met. The servers were quick to refill our drinks, change out the grill, and offer assistance whenever required. They recently added tablet ordering which makes some of the dining experience better. Food comes out even quicker without flagging down your waiter/waitress. Another commendable aspect of this establishment was the reasonable price point. Given the quality and variety of the food on offer. This combination of delicious food, excellent service, and reasonable prices makes it an outstanding value for money. In conclusion, I've been to KPot many times over the year and haven't been disappointed yet. Although I do hope they can install individual ventilation at each table where you don't smell like grilled steak after dining.

Michael, the manager, always greets us with a smile, and sometimes we even get lucky enough to have him as our server. I genuinely don't think I've ever seen this guy have a bad day. He's professional, welcoming, funny, and somehow makes every visit feel personal. Gin is also amazing, we absolutely love getting him as our waiter. Honestly though, we've never had a bad experience with any member of the staff. Everyone there is friendly and attentive, and you can tell they truly care about their customers. For years, this has been the ONLY restaurant my mom consistently wants to go to. We use way too much sauce, accidentally burn half our food, and still somehow have the best time every single visit. The atmosphere is just that good. And the food? Absolutely top tier. The meats, seafood, and vegetables are always fresh. The Thai Tom Yum broth is my personal favorite and never disappoints. My mom is obsessed with the KPot short rib, and honestly, I can see why, it's amazing. I'm hooked on the sweet and spicy sauce with the garlic shrimp. Every time I tell someone about this place, I hype it up with the same excitement because it truly deserves it. If you've never been to KPot Franklin Mills, just GO. We arrived around 7:00 PM and were seated immediately, which was a nice start. The first thing I noticed, though, was that many of the tongs and serving spoons at the buffet were sticky. It was pretty gross and definitely didn't make a great first impression. I tried a little bit of everything, and overall the food was just...okay. It wasn't terrible, but it definitely wasn't anything special. The lo mein had a strange flavor that wasn't what I'm used to from Chinese restaurants. The Alfredo sauce on the mussels was an odd choice and didn't work for me. The stuffed mushrooms seemed to be mostly breading with a little cheese. The calamari was probably the best thing I ate all night. The dessert selection was disappointing. They have a freezer with individually packaged "ice cream" cups, but it's really more of a frozen dairy dessert than actual ice cream. The texture and flavor weren't good, and after looking at the ingredients (nonfat milk, corn syrup, and whey protein), it made sense why. I honestly think an actual soft-serve ice cream machine would improve the dessert experience quite a bit. Other dessert options included cookies, Nutty Buddy bars, and a strange mint mousse/fluff in little cups that looked pretty unappealing. We skipped the hibachi, so I can't comment on that. I also wasn't impressed with the sushi--it looked like grocery store sushi that had simply been put out on the buffet. Dinner for two came to about $36, which seems pretty standard for a weeknight Chinese buffet and was a fair price. The other thing that was disappointing was there was no music playing and I think it really would've created a better ambience if there was some Chinese music playing in the background. Staff was very attentive. We were asked about refills and they also were quick to clean the dirty plates off of our table. Overall, I'd describe the experience as just "mid." Nothing was bad enough to make me upset, but nothing stood out enough to make me want to come back. If they improved the sushi, upgraded the desserts, and paid more attention to cleanliness around the buffet utensils, I think it would make a big difference. As it stands, I don't see myself returning.

To our surprise, the staff that always served us for all these visits decides to stop us from leaving because we didn't leave a tip on the table! I reiterated that we already gave the 18% at the front desk and they blocked us from leaving until we showed them our folded-up receipt (which we luckily didn't throw out) that we already paid.
