We decided to come here for lunch, and I heard the buffet was pretty good. It is under new management, which usually does nothing for me. I ate here one time three years ago, and it was bland, and no sparks flew. This time, to be honest, I was expecting the same outcome only because when they say under new management, I always think it's a line to bring new customers in. So I went and tried to have an open mind, and I'm glad I did; it was delicious. It was one of the best meals at a Buffet I've ever had. I can't tell you all the dishes they had out, but there was something for everyone's taste with two kinds of rice: Allo Tikki and Vegetable Pakora were two appetizers, and one was brought to the table called Samosa Chat. They had two types of Tandoori chicken for the main dish, one bone and one-off in a white curry sauce, Butter Chicken and a Beef dish, noodles, and much more. This place is a must-try if you like Indian food. If you're new to Indian food, there is no better way to try it than at a delicious Indian buffet. It is wheelchair accessible, no smoking, and has clean restrooms. It also has adjacent rooms for banquets, weddings, and big parties. I did not see a bar. I did not see that they had alcohol to serve. The prices are fair, and I will definitely be back. I learned something new: if a business says under new management, maybe it really is. I'm glad I was wrong.

I stopped in after getting Yelp directions since I wanted to eat Indian food and it mentioned Buffet on Yelp. Upon getting there the manager said no buffet but order using menu... I told him that they should have corrected buffet timings as Saturday/ Sunday. Anyway I decided after reviewing menu I liked few items so I ordered Egg Bhutto/ scrambled eggs -spicy w/ onions tomatoes cilantro ! Mixed in it.. great trading item with buttered Naan - Indian bread.. I really enjoyed quietness as only few people showed to eat at tables but many had carry out ordered so they waited to pick up their orders. They basically cook items when ordered that's why I should give five star but bad signage saying buffet ad you enter premises without specific about Sat/Sunday.

Covid Takeout Review Did a GrubHub takeout from Shagun Palace yesterday, and was very satisfied with the result. The restaurant is in the rear of a shopping center on Street Road, Bensalem, where there is a significant cluster of South Asian kitchens. Competition being severe, the quality is higher than in many more isolated Indian houses. Our order: Veggie Samosa for an appetizer; Chicken Korma, Chili Chicken - Dry, as entrees; and Baingan Bartha (curry eggplant), for a veggie side; and Garlic Naan to soak up the sauces. The foods were all very good to excellent, with kudos to the korma and dry chili chicken, which displayed spice skill with the sauces. The bird was perfectly cooked, and not at all dried out. If there was a weakness, it was the Naan, which appeared premade and merely heated in the oven before wrapping in foil. It was thicker and drier than normal, and not the least bit flakey, nor with expected air pockets. There was practically no garlic flavor. Next time, skip the naan. There are talented hands at Shagun Palace where they are allowed to perform their magic. They are masters of curry cream reductions, but make a mistake in not carrying the expertise through to their breads. If they lack a tandoor for BBQ and Indian oven breads, they really should invest in one. It would make Shagun a more complete 5 Star experience.

Chicken jalfrezi is my favorite here along with Chicken Vindaloo. Buffet is well worth it on Saturdays and Sundays to sample different foods.

That lunch buffet was DELICIOUS! So much variety! Just the right amount of spice! I got there at 11:31am and everything was ready and piping hot!! I was seated, received my naan, had three plates of food (lol), got my mango lassi to go, paid my bill & was out the door by noon in time to hustle back to work hahaha. I will definitely be back!!!

We wrapped up the meal with the Kesar Pista Falooda, which was the perfect ending. We left with full stomachs and even fuller hearts. After we got here, we realized that this was a vegetarian restaurant and instead of walking to the restaurant next door, we stuck to our original choice and we're not disappointed. The restaurant is a self order restaurant thats was fairly new. The restaurant was full but not crowded. The service was good and they can make food based on your level of spice tolerance. There was a dish that I hadn't tried before, bd the person at the counter gave me a very well detailed explanation that made my decisioning a Lil easier. The food was great. I enjoyed the chat, nothing extraordinary, unless you are eating it for the 2nd or 3rd time. Overall a good experience, don't forget to try Thums up!! You will never go back to Pepsi or coke again.

If you read nothing else - ORDER THE GARLIC CHICKEN…read more Ok, now for everything else....we decided to try out this place, which felt incredibly taboo bc we LOVE our Indian Palace restaurant. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the friendliest person behind the counter. She led us to our table where we enjoyed reading through their expansive menu. We decided on some samosa's, lamb korma, chicken Tikka and the star of the show - GARLIC CHICKEN. I'm going to start with the Garlic Chicken because I have never had something like this before anywhere else and it is listed as an appetizer. If you love garlic as much as I do, please do yourself a favor and RUN here to get this. My husband, son and I FOUGHT over this plate because it was so delicious. We had to order a whole extra basket of naan to dip it in because it was SPECTACULAR. The rest of the plates were very tasty as too! The Korma was delicious and soft. And I haven't met a naan I didn't like. Really aside from the garlic chicken what made this experience great was the service. It was a young woman who noticed I was speaking Spanish to my son and also began speaking Spanish to us. She was incredibly thoughtful and kept checking in on us as well. Overall, we look forward to returning. On the weekend they run a buffet which I am super into to try more of their dishes.

The inside was clean and appealing, service was friendly and prompt. I ordered simple items for sake of time and familiarity. The veggie samosas I ordered were ok and tasted like the frozen type. They were not greasy and had minimal spice/flavor. I would pass on them next time. For my main lunch I had the .... 3. Chicken Tikka Masala lunch special - lentils, rice, plain naan and salad. It was a good lunch deal for around $12. The lentils were fresh, rice was aromatic and fresh, salad was simple and the chicken tikka was good. The chicken was fresh, masala lacked the spice I was hoping for, but was a decent portion size. I could have used more naan than the one piece that came with the meal. I boxed about half of it all for take home. During checkout, the staff was so nice and thankful for the visit. They gave me a parting gift of Kheer for dessert. Unfortunately it had an off flavor so I dumped it, but it was the thought that counted. I'd certainly return if in the area to try some of their other entrees. The menu is sizable with around a dozen non veg apps, two dozen veg apps, 8-12 variants of lamb, chicken and goat dishes, over 2 dozen vegetarian meals and almost a dozen different biryanis. Thanks guys!

My parents consider the dosas here the area's best, and I too was impressed by the well-fermented, perfectly crisp, and generously portioned crepes that arrive with tasty sambar and fresh chutneys. Rajni boasts unique dosa varieties such as a cilantro-forward Madurai dosa and a curry-leaf inflected chicken masala dosa. The items outside the dosa similarly impressed me and my wife during a recent meal. The chicken 555 comprised morsels of fried chicken tossed in an appetizingly creamy and spicy sauce, which made for an addictive bite. We enjoyed the variety of curries (including fish, goat, and chicken) and the flaky paratha that came in the non-vegetarian thali, which was very fairly priced at $20. Service here deserves a mention, as the staff are very accommodating and hard working. The restaurant ambiance is simple but tidy.
