At the wedding itself, the staff were all warm and helpful and made things run smoothly. When I forgot my bridal bouquet, the staff rescued it and had it ready for my mother to pick up the next day. Our wedding was 75 people, and we had plenty of room to have everyone seated for the ceremony and dinner, plus space for a dance floor. We met with Cecile a few days before to walk through our plan, which she had clearly read through carefully, and she and her team were able to execute everything with no issues. In many ways, she acted like a day-of coordinator for us, which meant another big expense saved. On Thursday 8-18-11 my friend Richard W. from Maine coming to Philadelphia for business. We had spoke on the phone and asked if I would pick him up when he arrived in Philadelphia. I met him and we discussed where to have dinner, Richard wanted a steak so I suggested the golden corral. We arrived at the golden corral the setup was different from the last time that I was there. While we were paying for our meal we were also greeted by a beverage server asking what we would like to drink. We asked if we could order from the table the cashier said yes. I said the last time I was here I was carrying the tray wasn't paying attention and spilled the tray. We did a walk through what a selection of food from salads, soups to desserts so we would know where everything is. I also noticed you could get your plates and silverware. I mentioned to Richard that the server would get your plates. So we decided to sit in a booth and when we sat down the server came over introduced herself and asked what we would be drinking we told her. The next thing we hear is "Bensalem we care, Bensalem we care" we asked the server what that meant she said that meant to clean the bar area and floor area. When guests are putting food on their plates there not paying attention the food falls on the bar area and the floor. So we get a plate walk to grill area stand in line the grill chef looks at us asked us how would you like your steak Richard says well done, I get mine medium now with steak, veggies and baked potato. We sit down there's announcement wishing someone Happy Birthday. Richard goes to the bathroom, comes back and says wow did you notice how clean this place is. I respond with yes oh by the way how's your steak he responds it's great at the end of the meal. I have eaten in some real crap holes in my life, but this one takes the prize. The Hooton and the Holleirn and the antics of the patrons who visit this establishment is beyond words. I found the Golden corral on Street Road in Bensalem to be one of the worst establishment and I've eaten in many restaurants as a buffet it might as well been called a buffet as I left the establishment I almost regurgitated everything that I ate I'm going to send the pigeons for my location down that and they won't even eat it was disgusting I give this a half a star out of 10 not five read more

Everytime my family and I eat there we get a low grade stomach that lasts a week to ten days!!! I suspect some of their produce comes from places that are less than sanitary. No one in my family will eat there because it is a prescription for an intestinal infection. read more

I have been going to Nifty Fifty's since I was in HS in the 90's. I was so excited to have this location open, until yesterday. You can see I went when this location first opened and gave them 5 stars. Things have changed. I stopped by and got a milk shake and cheese fries to go. I sat outside on their bench for 5 minutes. Ate a few fries and finished a phone call before heading home. When I got home I opened the fries and there were bugs in them. I immediately got sick and ran the food outside to the trash. I tried to call the restaurant 4 times with no answer. I called another location to make sure I had the right number, which I did. Today I went back to tell them what happened. I asked to speak with manager privately as this was something I didn't want to talk about openly. I asked for a refund, which they denied. They said they were so busy they couldn't answer the phone. It was empty when I was there less than 30 minutes prior so I find that hard to believe. They said I sat at the bench for the 5 min and that's where I got the bugs. They said they would remake the food but I couldn't sit at a table even though the place was empty. At this point I did say very loudly there were bugs in my food and I wanted corporates number, which they would not provide. They then asked me to leave when people were asking what happened. I'll take up a dispute with my credit card. I didn't photo the bugs as I was physically ill from thinking about the ones I ate at the restaurant and had drank 1/2 my milkshake. I'm very sad that this will be my final visit to Nifty Fifties but even when offered replacement food. At first I said yes but I immediately felt sick about it and said no thank you. I won't be able to ever go back here. I filled out their online form for customer service but at this point there is nothing that can be done. Update: I did hear from corporate within 24 hours.
