Delicious food! Very happy whenever I order from them. Their hot sauce IS hot (and tasty) not to be confused with American hot sauce.

Extreme Small amount of Food And the meal was over $13 instead of the food trucks that are around $9.

Talk about bang for your buck! Fresh off the plane, my cousin recommended we eat here since they…read morehave healthy food and great portion sizes. We walked in and were greeted promptly. I was surprised at the amount of space there was considering it's in a strip mall. Scouring the menu, I noticed they had tons of healthy options. I debated between the shrimp and chicken, but ultimately decided on #28, blackened chicken breast with brown rice and veggies. I asked if I could substitute the veggies for peppers and they were happy to accommodate. We went to Walgreens so she could pick something up and our order was ready by the time we came back. When I opened my bag, I was shocked at how big the platter was. If portioned correctly, you could easily get 3-4 meals. Kudos to them for not skimping on the protein because there was plenty abound. Before I left, they asked if I wanted any sauces. I told them I'd like teriyaki and they gave it to me in this large container. I took two bites (before I put it on) just to see if it was seasoned. The chicken was but the rice was plain, so I decided to go ahead and add it. I noticed the consistency was more of a liquid and it tasted like soy sauce. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my meal and the generous portions. I'll for sure be back next time I'm on the island.

I'm still not over Ungaro Coal Fired Pizza Cafe. This place has completely won me over. The food is…read moreexcellent across the board, and the service matches it. It has a casual vibe, but still feels like a proper restaurant, which makes it perfect for anything from a quick bite to a relaxed sit down meal. It's a small spot, so I'd definitely recommend making a reservation if you plan to dine in. I've tried their signature coal oven pizza, chicken parmigiana, penne vodka, and the flatbread. Everything was absolutely delicious. You can also order drinks, not just soda or juice, which adds to the overall experience. Street parking can be a challenge, but it's worth it. I was so caught up with enjoying the food that I barely took any photos, and that just says it all. I'll definitely be back and add more pictures next time.

Many cultures around the Mediterranean have different forms of chickpea fritters and/or…read morechickpea-filled sandwiches. There's of course falafel to the east, garantita in Algeria, and panisse in France (or socca in a similar vein). Sicilian panelle is Italy's counterpart, and the version at Ungaro is an excellent example of it. The panelle comes served with a healthy serving of ricotta on a seeded bun. It has a relatively mild, filling flavor that lets you fully enjoy the chickpea fritters themselves. They also have a potato croquette sandwich on the menu - a distant cousin of the Vada pav I plan to try next time. The half vodka pizza we tried was good, with high-quality mozzarella and a decadent sauce. The pie itself had a nice chewiness to it - if I had any suggestions, perhaps next time they could go a bit easier on the quantity of the sauce.

My coworker had the chicken sandwich for $16 and enjoyed it as well! The chicken was crispy and it also came with fries! The inside space, although small, is also very pretty, and I could definitely see myself getting lunch there with friends. Love the atmosphere and the options for food and drinks! The brunch food was delicious, especially the steak and egg sandwich; the bread they used were so fluffy and it paired perfectly with chipotle mayo, which was recommended by Chris. The eggs Benedict were also cooked perfectly runny and each brunch plate came with some fruits and a drink of your choice. Overall everything was fresh and even the fruit selections were sweet. Highly recommend for those who want a simple yet delicious brunch! Will definitely be back to try their regular menu! Thank you for reading and best of luck! (:
