Really good and delicious shave ice! We were craving some ice because why not when you're in Hawaii…read moreand this place was super close to where we were staying and we checked it out. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable! Because I am dairy free I was so happy to see that they had a coconut milk option instead of condensed milk and I was really excited! Please be warned that the sizes are huge and so I got the kids size and that still was plenty! Prices are what you would expect in this area. $9 for regular and $7.50 for kids. I got the rainbow and it was so good and yummy. There's no seating inside, but there's a lot of seating outside. Cute ambience inside We are for sure coming back here again before our trip ends!

We stumbled across it when the food court was closed--so yes, shaved ice for dinner... and honestly, no regrets at all. My daughter got the rainbow, my husband went with the lava flow, and I had the cherry blossom. All three were absolutely fantastic--super flavorful, perfectly shaved ice, and really refreshing after a long day. The staff was friendly, the portions were generous, and the flavors tasted fresh and vibrant--not overly sugary like some places. It ended up being one of those unexpected highlights of our trip. Highly recommend if you're in the area and want a cool treat (even if it ends up being dinner )!

It was a wonderful suggestion from Tami who took care of us. Also notable items were the tsunami fries and the coco loco drink. Our kids also loved the dole whips and they were a perfect size for them. We came to this small burger shop after a day at the beach. We have littles and they were tired and hungry. Tami was so kind to our family and so patient. It was a welcoming and friendly lunch. Mahalo from our family!

The burger is only available as a combo for about $25, the fish tacos were $36, fries are $7 (and unfortunately not very memorable), and the restaurant adds a 7.5% service fee before prompting for an additional gratuity. By the time everything is totaled up, what looks like a casual lunch turns into a very expensive meal. If you're looking for a splurge, the food is fine. If you're expecting a laid-back burger-and-taco spot with reasonable prices, you may experience some sticker shock. I'd happily come back for the food if the value proposition were better, but next time I'd probably look elsewhere for lunch.

Anyway, food was actually pretty good. The tako (octopus legs) were amazing. Service was ok, could have been more attentive.

I had the butter fish which was tender and it had miso and bok choy with it. Overall the fish was good, not great. The app we had was the Korean fried cauliflower and that was the best thing i ate there. We each had two drinks. My drinks were really good, but my husband said his were ho hum. The resort is beautiful and the view is beautiful. Food overall is good, but not spectacular. We were disappointed that the mana rays did not make an appearance, but we went during a Kona storm when the tours weren't running up north due to the waves so I figured that might have impacted it. Would i go again? To see the manta rays, yes, but probably not for the food. Final note: valet parking was free with the validation done by the server.
