Look, I like Shake Shack but this one gets it so wrong it's hard to say good things about it. We came here after a concert at Allegiant and we were starving! It was busy as it's Labor Day weekend but there's a lot that went wrong. To start there was one cashier and five kiosks and lines galore. We got our order in and got our initial text confirmation, then we waited and waited and waited. Eventually my friend got a text her order was almost done but no one came out with any food. We have been there about 25 min and had not seen any food delivered. She went up to the counter and eventually got it. I on the other hand was still waiting 40 minutes in. Tons of people at the counter along with Uber and Door dash drivers, no one was happy. It took me quite some effort to get someone's attention to ask about my order. They looked around and said it wasn't up yet. Then I got a text asking "How did we do?" Clearly someone was messing with the system. The staff was not rude, but had zero sense of urgency and talked a lot amongst each other but did all they could to avoid engaging with customers. I ended up going to the order counter where the cashier had to help me and 47 min later I got my food. The order was correct but it was cold. My suggestions here, turn off mobile food orders if you're swamped, most shacks have a system in place for even the busiest of times. This one worked really hard to get poor marks. I will not be back to this location and cannot recommend enough to avoid it. The vibes were overcrowded, overwhelmed and a lot of "no rush" from the team. read more

While I ALWAYS order a side of fries with my burger, depending on my mood and hunger level, I sometimes feel fancy and get cheese fries to round out my meal. I just love those crispy crinkle cut fries that have that satisfying soft center. To truly complete my meal, I love their refreshing strawberry lemonade on a hot day. You can really taste the real strawberry puree, perfectly marrying their house-made lemonade. It quenches my thirst every time. While yes, your Shack Shake meal will NEVER compare to your In-n-Out combo prices, however, it's still worth it now and then ~ esp. when I have that fast-food craving, but still want fresh quality ingredients. I personally like this convenient location tucked in a corner facing the Las Vegas strip in the NYNY hotel & casino. I appreciate the late-night hours for when my friends and I go drinking and we get the late-night munches. A co-worker recommended eating here, thus I gave it a try. When I ordered via their kiosk, I got my food promptly. I chose "dine-in" but I found it strange that I had to fill my own cup even though I stated what type of drink I wanted. The Smoke Shack tasted awesome. The patty is on a small size, getting a double fills you up pretty good. The bun is very soft. I tried the K-shack fries... Not spicy and I didn't care for the sauce it came with. So pretty much I had an amazing burger but "meh" fries. The dining area is well-lit, spacious, and has a nice atmosphere with the music selection they had. Next time I want to try another burger! Ok I've been to a few Shake Shacks in Cali & they ok I'm not the biggest fan BUT this one in Vegas just hits different & my favorite. In all their locations burgers are tasty & I like the crinkle fries tho they can be a bit pricey which is ok if the portions were bigger but in Cali portions in fries & the burger are small. BUT not here, been to this location 3 times & all 3 times portions are bigger worth the prices & because burgers are bigger it taste better & juicier & you get more fries. Customer service is faster & friendlier here which is a plus. We from Cali & tho we have a few Shake Shacks in Cali when we go to Vegas for a few days we make sure one of those days our dinner is from Vegas Shake Shake, it's a must & better & we look forward to it. Coming off a caloric deficit these burgers really hit the spot. I got the black truffle burger (8 of 10) and my wife got the shack burger (7 of 10). The real star of the show this trip was the double down fries (10 of 10). The black truffle burger was tasty and cooked perfectly. The fries were crunchy and soft at the same time and covered in cheese, peppers and bacon. We did a to go order from the app and the service was on point. This Shake Shack is located at the side of the NYNY casino. Having been to the east coast many times, Shake Shack is a place that I'm familiar with. I was with a friend who's travelling for the first time (and has obviously never eaten at Shake Shack), so I decided to take her to Shake Shack to try some (decent) American burger chains. I had the Double Shack Burger, which is one of my go-tos at Shake Shack. Compared to the quality in the east coast it was comparable, but we were definitely paying Strip prices here (aka more expensive). Their crinkle cut fries, on the other hand, were poor. Not crispy at all and it felt like I was eating fries of the quality you can buy from a supermarket. For someone who wants to try Shake Shack and does not live/frequent the east coast, I suppose it does its job. Just be prepared for a dip in quality and a rise in prices here. read more

On our past trip to Vegas, we decided to indulge in some delicious burgers and shakes at Shake Shack. My personal favorite is the Shack Stack, which is a cheeseburger with a fried cheese stuffed mushroom patty on top, talk about a mouthwatering combination! But wait, there's more! Their cookie and cream shake is also a must try. It goes very well with the crinkle cut fries. I wish we had a Shake Shack back home for those moments when I crave their delicious treats. Over a decade ago, this was the spot where I had my first experience with shake shack, and it turned me into a fan instantly. The burgers here are cooked perfectly every time. The smokeshack is still my go-to with a double patty. The only thing I don't really care for are their fries. I'm usually good after a couple of em but the burgers and shakes are really what to come for, especially as a nightcap before heading back to hotel for the night. I don't know what it is about Vegas but they do fast food really well, especially shake shack. Back home in the Bay, shake shack is pretty mid, so whatever they do here in Vegas, I wish they could replicate that in the Bay Area. If the did, I'd probably go more often lol read more

The burgers were delicious, however I would consider the buns to be a little soggy. More soft & mushy when compared to a typical burger. So if you're into a different burger, give these a try. Either way, we had the Double Bacon Cheese Burger and the Smoke Shack Burger, both were delicious, just wasn't expecting that. I've had the shakes in previous visits, and they were all very good. The interior is spacious, and is conveniently located near T-Mobile Park, and just outside the New York New York Hotel, and on the Las Vegas Strip. There are also some outdoor seats and tables shared among other businesses. So if it gets crowded, you have options to go outside. Shake Shack is one of my favorite burger places that I love to enjoy from time to time. It has plenty of locations all across America and was originally from New York. I'm glad that they do have one in Vegas and this location is quite fast on the orders. They always seem to make new menu items and this time around I tried a truffle burger. The cheese and truffle are strong and if you love that flavor then you will like this burger! I came here with six people that three of them have never been here before. My family and I came here on a Sunday night after getting into town, and despite having heard about this place and stayed nearby several times in my life, I had never actually tried it before. We enjoyed the food here but personally I don't think it's the best burger joint. I equally enjoy In n Out and actually prefer In N out fries. No complaints with the regular burger. My husband tried the hot ones and the shack stack. He says hot ones was spicy but he could have done with more spice, and there was just too much cheese from the shroom patty in the shack stack. Delicious. That is all. Whenever I'm in town, I always make sure to stop by this Shake Shack. Sadly the locations near me back home do not compare to this location in terms of food quality and service. I ordered my usual, which was the Shackburger with a side of cheese fries. I also got a cookies and cream milkshake too. The portions here are huge compared to my locations back home. Not only that, but everything is hot and ready to eat as the meat is cooked perfectly, and the cheese literally melts in your mouth. The milkshakes are also amazing and not too sweet. Service is always prompt and even despite the high foot traffic that they get on a daily basis, they always ensure that the food is good to go for customers and it always comes out pretty quickly too. On 10/22/25 I decided to try the Shake Shack. It was about 3:30 in the afternoon there was no line of people. I went through the drive through which started off terrible the employees apparently didn't know how to use their headsets or microphones and you could barely hear them speak. After telling them a half dozen times to adjust their microphone or headset they finally figured out how to take my order. I Ordered their number 3 combo which was just a regular single hamburger crinkle fries and a soda I upgraded the soda to a Vanilla milkshake. The total was $18.41. I picked up the order at the drive through and parked to have the meal., I noticed the crinkle fries were not even room temperature, and discovered they forgot part of the order so I had to walk all the way back into the restaurant wait in the restaurant and finally get the item that they had forgotten to put in. The hamburger was equivalent to a McDonald's cheeseburger with a small piece of wilted lettuce on it and a sliver of a tomato. The taste was underwhelming. The fries we're also underwhelming and being cold doesn't They had kind of old grease taste The milkshake was mediocre had a bit of an ice milk taste to it and was the size of a child's cup. At $18.41 for the meal I cannot recommend Shake Shack at all and will be shocked if they can stay in business with this poor customer service and poor product.
