The worst shake shack I have ever been to. The staff was completely lost with orders being forgotten, incorrect and piling up on the burger bar. There was no coordination or urgency what-so-ever. The counter service people here really seem to like their jobs. The couple of times I've been here they were super friendly, bubbly, and to the eye, not at all put out that I need a moment to order. (I'm just not a 'the usual' type of girl). The little downfall is no small/large order of fries, just the one size. Also-i ordered a small fountain drink at $2+. I don't know if they offer refill but I didn't have cash (paid for meal w debit) and for whatever reason I felt indimidated to go to the counter and ask if they give free drink refills. Shake shack is good of course, but this location is slowwwwwwwwwww. Plan on waiting 45min at least for your food. They take in too many online orders and can't keep up. They need to prioritize the people sitting in the restaurant waiting since the online order are already planning on waiting . After being here a few times and experiencing a ridiculously long wait everytime (not waiting to order, just waiting for food) , it's clear this is just a poorly run location and you should avoid it until they get better. It was Saturday night around 6:30 and the line was 5 people deep. The order taker was very friendly and professional. They didn't have an entire section of options on the menu that was out for use. The wait was long. One drink was the incorrect drink but they were gracious in replacing it. The fries had clearly been sitting out under the heater for awhile, they were stale. The burger was good. Visited today and my goodness, this burger was bad. I ordered a shackburger without tomato and received a cheeseburger without tomato, but it was also missing the lettuce and sauce. The burger was extremely dry and flavorless. The edges were crisp and burnt. The only thing the burger had going for it was the gluten free bun, as it was pretty good. I also ordered a coffee milkshake and it tasted waxy. I threw half of it away and I've never been known to throw out a coffee milkshake! How do you mess up a milkshake? When we placed our order we were given a pager. Well, the pager buzzed, my husband went to retrieve our order and waited for at least 10 minutes, if not longer. During this time, he watched people complain about not receiving their food. He finally asked where our food was, because people who ordered after him were receiving their food and he was still waiting. A side note, as we sat outside, a girl walked by and told an employee on her lunch break to let someone know she was there for an interview, waited for 45 minutes without being interviewed, and was now leaving. Maybe it was an off day? Maybe they were short staffed? But maybe this location needs to get their act together because the name Shake Shack will only carry you so far. read more

Finally got around trying Shake Shack for the first time. Even though it has been some months since opening day in Denver there was still a small line just as the store opened. The line moved quickly and it wasn't that long of a wait afterwards for our orders to be ready. The burgers are good though not deserving of all the hype for a fast food place. I do enjoy fancy gourmet burger places so while Five Guys/Shake Shack are good they just don't compare to many other burger places. I surprisingly loved the fries. Updating my review to say I wish I could add another star for a total of 6 stars. I stopped by last night for dinner with a friend, it wasn't too busy (wait was maybe 5 min to order). The staff here is SO friendly, I want to go back just to hang out with them! We sat on the patio which made for a perfect spring night in Denver. Disclaimer: I used to live in Manhattan so Shake Shack already has a very special place in my heart. This location surely looks the part and the menu fits the bill. The burger scene just got better in dtown. Now I don't have to wait until a trip to New York or Chicago just to get me a shackburger. This is absolutely wonderful. Arriving at the new RiNo location I couldn't help but be impressed with the location and building. The area is trendy and hip. The building is modern and luxurious. I wouldn't expect anything less. I was hoping that the inside would be a tad bigger and have more seating. Fortunately my wife and I did find a table immediately. Overall I'm just happy that my hometown has one of these. I'll probably show up at least once every couple of months. Oh yeah the green chile cheddar shackburger is definitely worth trying. The fries are krinkle cut and have a similar flavor and texture to the frozen fries you can buy at the grocery store. The burger cheese was bland, and the patty was alright. Greasy, but tasty. Though the burger really didn't seem that different from mainstream fastfood, and that I found to be really unfortunate. My friend ordered a double burger (which you almost have to, the patties are really thin), normal fries, and small shake. His total was somewhere near $18. Not a huge deal, found a number for the "manager", no answer, and responded to their survey when they requested feedback. Neither heard back from either of these. Not impressed I'm not sure what all the hype is about this place. The main complaint is it is a complete chaos huge line to start then they give you one of those little buzzers to alert you when your food is ready. Well, apparently everyone's buzzer was going off including mine so everyone is crowded around the pickup counter waiting for their order getting frustrated because the employees have no idea what's going on. Then you finally get your food and it is mediocre at best not much flavor at all the only thing good was the shake but honestly what shake isn't good? Avoid this disaster go somewhere else read more
