The Shake Shack hospitality team reached out to me to graciously ask me to come back and give them one more chance. They apologized for any inconvenience they have caused in the past and invited me back to make things right. While I was frustrated this was the third time I went back due to a mistake on their end, I'm also grateful they have kept inviting me back to right the wrong. I feel like it would have been easy to reach out once, but to keep trying until they got it right is what makes companies like Shake Shack stick out above the rest. I know the pandemic has been hard for businesses and keeping workers, and I understand it would have been easy to ignore the negative reviews for a business as busy as Shake Shack, but I'm always happy to see when a company will go above and beyond to show their appreciation for their loyal customers. On a snowy day, I trekked into this warm establishment to taste fine cuisine from the East Coast. Literally, it's street parking. I parked 10 minutes away but with it snowing...pretty sure it was shorter because I tried to dash my way there. If you hate street parking, don't come or have someone drop you off. After all the hype about the new Shake Shack, I really wanted to like this spot! Unfortunately, I was not super impressed after our experience. When we arrived, the line was out the door, so I assumed it had to be amazing. i love me some Shake Shack. I really do. I lived in California for the majority of my life, and I will take Shake Shack every single time over In-n-Out. The burgers are better. The shakes are better. The fries are better. It costs more, but it's better. Shake Shack in Denver is pretty much what you'd expect, except that it's really small compared to ones you'll go to in recent expansion cities. Definitely don't think of coming here with a group larger than 4 unless you're willing to split up. The RiNo location feels reminiscent of the locations in New York in size (which isn't a good thing), and it makes the restaurant feel pretty cramped inside, compared to a spacious location like Glendale in the LA area. That being said, they do a good job keeping up with the tables and getting food out. Even with all the hype, the wait is reasonable (and I'd argue that it's totally worth it). Food-wise, I still love me some Shake Shack. The burgers are good. I've had the classics and the Colorado especials (shake y burger), and they're both just as good as I expect them to be. I wish this location was bigger, but we'll have to wait for the Highlands Ranch location to open this summer to take that crown. It's still a welcome sight for Shake Shack lovers to have a location in Denver. Just remember that to do Shake Shack right, it'll cost you probably something close to $11-$15/person. read more

We actually tried SS on a Saturday at Noon (crazy you say) and it barely had a line (maybe 3 ppl ahead of us). I got a double shack burger, fries and an ice tea. First annoyance is they don't have refills and you get your drink when you get your food - seems cheap (for not that cheap of food). I should have taken a pic, because the presentation of beautiful crispy greasy burgers served up on yellowy potato buns was a feast for the eyes. Best part of Shake Shack - the burgers. They are flatten on a flat top so they are crispy and thin (and a greasy in a good way). The bun is heaven! Soft, tasty and with a hinge so you food stays in! A+++ on the burger. The fries (I just got regular ole fries) are crispy crinkle cut fries and are just OK. Nothing really stands out about them. Parking is on the street (in ever popular RiNo, so it is hit or miss). Tons of seating in the place. They were pretty quick with the order. It was good and we will be back. Came all the way to five point solely driven by the hype for Shakeshack overall the social media. We came at around 5:30 on a Friday. Parking was a bit hard to find as there were many other restaurants and breweries nearby. There wasn't any line at the entrance. We got the classic shake burger and shack stack (cheese burger and shroom burger, as the shroom burger is vegan). In addition, we ordered a small fries and chicken nuggets. Patty in the shake burger was quite dry to my taste but the shack stack was a win! The juicy, whole portobello mushroom was a perfect complement to the burger. The cheese, instead of Swiss, was a combination of Muenster and cheddar. It was on the strong side but when combined with everything else, surprisingly delicious. The fries and chicken nuggets, as much as they try to advertise them, I found myself not a big fan. I would stick to five guys for the fries. It was a good experience with great food and service. The burger was Five Guys quality, but a bit on the pricey side. The cheese fries were just what I was hoping for, crispy with a nice creamy cheese. And that shake, all the heart eyes! It was so creamy that I felt like I was drinking strawberry whip cream rather than ice cream. So good! Update: I just want to say how incredibly impressed I am with the managers at Shake Shack! Long story short: overrated and overpriced burger. People have always raved about shake shack so I thought I'd give it a try - I've always loved burgers and actively try to try new burger places/get a variety. They have multiple options for burgers but I wanted to try a basic one for a baseline. Thin patty burger that wasnt very juicy or flavorful which I think is arguably the most important part of the burger. The only real plus was that I enjoyed the fries - though I love fries from anywhere so it isnt saying much haha. Considering this is a fast food food burger - I'd say at their expensive price point I would opt for other fastfood burger chains (5 guys, larkburger, in n out). Two stars because I've had a couple of good experiences along with a couple of bad ones. Tonight you guys put the wrong name on my order, Rashad rather than Shaun. I've never had that problem before. I saw Rashad's order called out at least 10 minutes before I started to ask about my order (tbh, prob 15 mins). That's enough time for an order to go from tasting good to cold and soggy, which it is right now, most of it trash. I knew that before leaving the store. I asked for a new order and the manager had to be called to ask me what she can do - the cashier should be able to fix this, but a new hot order I requested again. This order should be placed up front ahead of the others, at least in my restaurants (X3) that would happen, rather than telling me it'll take 15 mins to make in a fast food restaurant. I wanna say I was surprised, but I had just used coupons tonight from the last time when my order was skipped over and took a half hour. Shake Shack serves up some delicious burgers that rivals In-N-Out, and each burger commands a pretty high asking price in comparison to their competitors. Every time I visit a Shake Shack, I always get their Shack Stack and add bacon. It's their classic cheeseburger with the addition of a deep fried mushroom patty that's filled with gooey and delicious Muenster & cheddar cheese. The hamburger patty is made from their proprietary blend of Angus beef and cooked to a medium doneness unless specified otherwise. The patty is juicy and flavorful, albeit on the thinner side. The mushroom patty adds a crunchy texture to each bite and the melted cheese that oozes out of it blends all elements of the burger together. I absolutely love their Chick'n Shack. It's an extra crispy chicken breast with lettuce, pickles and a buttermilk herb mayo. The chicken is fantastic; it's juicy, moist, tender, and extra crispy to give you a very satisfying crunch with each bite. The pickles pair exceptionally well with the chicken, as its zest and slightly sour taste helps cut through the richness of the chicken and the buttermilk mayo. The location specific burger offering here is the Green Chile CheddarShack, which is a cheeseburger with shredded white cheddar, marinated green chiles and scallions. The fries are of the crinkle cut variety and they're pretty thick. They're crispy on the outside and soft and flaky on the inside. You can get them with cheese or bacon AND cheese. The potato buns here are some of the best. They're soft and buttery, slightly chewy and absorb burger juices well. All the burgers are on the smaller side, which is why I can get 2 of them. The only downside is that it'll cost me close to $20 to reach the same level of satiety that $7 at In-N-Out would achieve. Service is pretty fast, efficient and friendly. The only hiccup I observed was that they failed to add bacon to my Shack Stack. It's disappointing that they upcharged me $2 for bacon and didn't even provide a single morsel. I brought it to the staff's attention and they offered to make me a new burger, but the manager decided to just have bacon put in a paper pouch and handed it to me. I guess he opted to do this for the sake of time, but probably also to avoid the cost of giving away a free $10 burger, which is disappointing. read more

They have a few other things that honestly puts them on the map for me and that's their mushroom party stuffed with cheese and fried and put on a bun.
