This is our very first time visiting here. We were greeted upon entry by Jo B and given a menu to place our order. She was very nice and had an infectious smile. The place was small and cozy like. So we decided to dine in. I love the fact that everything is cooked to order, hot and fresh. I was skeptical because they had no lemon pepper seasoning. Right after YES event at Law's, Corie recommended to come here for great fried chicken. Not better than down south but a good option here. My sister recommended this place to me, and I'm sure glad she did. I decided on the loaded tots and five piece chicken tenders. We got some good menu recommendations from all the staff members as we debated only getting buffalo wings or throwing in chicken tenders as well. I took it apart and ate it separate half way through. What I will say is even though the chicken had American cheese and had Buffalo sauce all over it, you could tell it was really high quality. The ranch was good too which is very important as well! So after and event at Laws Whiskey House yesterday, I scooted over a mere two blocks to devour some wingage. I went with 6 buffalo wings and 6 garlic parmesan wings, which came with celery and two sides of ranch. 12 wings for $17 is a pretty good price nowadays with the price of chicken going up like crazy. The wings were good size and the buffalo ones were DOUSED with sauce. Maybe a little too much, dare I say? I was super impressed with the garlic parm wings. The buffalo were also solid, but I would've liked a little more heat personally. Pair this with a beer from Dive Inn and you've entered nirvana. Eat on the patio if the weather allows too. I don't get here alot since it's not near my home, but l look forward to when we're around that area to visit. A few times we've gotten the family chicken meal and I love how you can pick different sauces for them to smother the tenders in, so you can satisfy your entire group. And it comes along with fries and toast. The only thing I do not like about Cluck is that they only sell bottled water (no water station nor will they give you a glass of tap water), so that is annoying to me. I went this evening to eat there and ordered the 5 piece Chicken Tenders and a basket of fries. The fries were an extra charge as was the Texas Toast. With tax, it came to $24. I felt that was a lot, but the Chicken Tenders were, Hot, Perfectly Breaded, Not Spicy and Tender. I also got the Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce, which is Homemade and was also Delicious the Fries were also hot and Tasty. The Texas Toast was ok, nothing special.
