Came here for the first time when my mom visited from Florida because she said my brother said this place is the best! We went through the drive through and placed our order. We took a while in the drive through reading menu and the customer service rep was patient and kind. The burgers weren't the best I've had but it was a good burger. Had flavor, smooth to bite , easy to digest. What disappointed me the most was when we received the food we waited to eat when we got home but once we left the parking lot we tried the fries and they were cold. We got chocolate, for the price you'd think it'd at least taste good, but sadly it did not. Way Overpriced and disappointing! I heard they were supposed to have the best burgers. First off the restaurant is very new and very clean. There was only one other couple in the restaurant. You can order at the counter but no one was serving at the counter (or would come to the counter) so we were forced to use the kiosk, which I hate using . I read online that they were only supposed to use the kiosk when it's crowded in the restaurant. So what was up with this? This did not seem to be the case. We had one single Black truffle burger, one single bacon burger, one order of cheese fries, one large soda and one chocolate shake and cost over $40. Mind you the burgers were small, even though advertised as 1/3 lb, about 4 inches across. The Truffle sauce tasted weird like it had horseradish in it. The fries were barely covered with some gross looking cheese sauce. It tasted ok but really folks , it looked like curdled nacho cheese. The chocolate shake was ok but I didn't really care that it tasted like Hershey chocolate syrup--I expected something less Ordinary. Needless to say I think I will continue to explore other burger places and not return to this one or any of its other 400 locations. Sorry (not sorry) for those prices I expect a gourmet burger. It's been years since I've had Shake Shake, so when I heard one was opening on Riverdale, I was so surprised! My husband and I are avid In-N-Out goers so instead of popping over there for a late lunch, we opted for Shake Shack since he hadn't been before. Parking was easy, interior was clean, and it was a hassle free experience overall. We ordered two single Shack Burgers, a side of fries, and a strawberry shake for ~$25. It took maybe five minutes for the food to come out which was hand delivered to our table. The fries were great! Hot and crispy. The burgers were tasty but for $6 each, it wasn't an amazing burger. The shake was good but nothing to write home about. Overall we enjoyed our food. We'll try their chicken sandos another time. read more

With a few visits in, we can comfortably give this an "okay" rating. It's a good burger, not a great burger but it's a nice alternative to some of the other fast burger spots. The fries were super and have been hot and fresh with every visit, we love crinkle fries.. Portions were decent. The chicken sandwiches were completely underwhelming. Both samples were dry and had a very flavorless breading. These are priced as a premium and just don't meet that expectation. We'll try them again and check on the dessert offerings but it won't be a "destination" burger spot but more of convenience. read more

The thing you need to understand about Shake Shack is they are relatively simple burgers that focus on quality ingredients and flavor over novel, or large messy burgers. I. Love. Shake. Shack. I'm surprised at the other reviews, but for me personally, I really enjoy it. The food is delicious and fresh. I have only ever ordered a burger and cheese fries, never a shake (yet) so I cannot attest to that just yet. I will admit it is rather pricey, so keep that in mind when wanting to try it out. I get a genuine craving for their burgers so that is what keeps me coming back! I first tried out a Shake Shack at the Denver airport, and that is what originally got me hooked. The service was just okay. Employees seemed okay, but not happy to be there. I liked that it wasn't busy when we went so we didn't have to wait on other orders to be served, and we got our food relatively quickly. I was so glad to come in and see that they had vegetarian burgers. The mushroom burger was very different than any other burger I have ever had, but I loved it. I do enjoy going to Shake shack I've been there quite a few times it can be hit or miss. It is best to go mid week if you want the best quality and everybody is paying attention in the restaurant during mid week. The atmosphere is fine now that the hype is over. The service is OK and the food is the same as it is in New York. It just needs a bit more seasonings in order for it to taste like anything with the altitude up here but other than that, it is your typical Shake Shack that you would fine on the East Coast except for the only difference out here is that West don't understand what real meat taste like with a realcost., I personally enjoyed coming to Shake Shack and for the locals if you see any reviews on yelp from them, I would take it with a grain of salt because they've never understood the cost of actual produce and proteins that they serve at this restaurant. People in Utah do not understand. Only the implants do. If you ask a local which restaurants they will enjoy going to they'll say in and out or any of your local mom and Pop shops that are in OGDEN Shake Shack is not on the radar. I have never heard of shake shack so me and some friends decided to try them out. First off; the staff are all confused about their own menus, you can definitely tell they do not know anything, so we were all genuinely patient with them, while they figure out if we could put cheese on a burger or not, lol. Now, food for one person was 35? Seriously lol that was definitely not worth it. The burger wasn't even good it was no where near fresh and the fries were terrible. I am beyond disappointed to say the least. While we waited in the lobby it took 42 minutes for them to bring our food out. Now we were all taking this to go, so we all decided to check to make sure our food was there and sure enough we were missing fries and 2 of my friends were missing their burgers lol . This whole experience was terrible: when we told the lady what happened she got mad and told us that we stole the fries and burgers out of the bag so that we can get extra..... lol I was in disbelief that she would even say that to all of us, but a nice young man came over and told us that he was sorry and that he would correct our order. Because of him I will give this place a 2 stars. The issue ambiance was nice... I will never return to this restaurant ever again, and it takes a lot for me to say that. But the food wasn't worth the money, and the overall experience was trash. Excited to try a new burger place so gave it a try tonight. Cheeseburger, chicken sandwich, one fry and two shakes was $35. My son loved the Korean BBQ Chicken sandwich and I thought the burger was better than most. Shakes were average. Burgers have nothing on them so you have to ask for what you want. We went through the drive up and noone was in line at 4pm. Service was fast and employee was friendly but food was overpriced so don't think I will be going back. We're avid In n Out customers, but my husband and I stopped by this new Shake Shack on Christmas Eve to pick up burgers for our family after a busy day. The restaurant wasn't busy, so I was taken back when we weren't greeted as we walked in. There were two employees at the counter and maybe 5 people in the lobby already eating. We had obviously never eaten here, so took some time to look over the menu - might I add, we also mentioned that, hoping to get some recommendations or help ordering. Instead, we got blank stares. The young man taking our order was clearly new and unfamiliar with things, so we were patient and understanding. Our daughter wanted to try a promotion that she saw online for a Poppy shake (Trolls movie). They let us know they don't do that. Ok... so we opted for a strawberry shake. Then they didn't do that, so we opted for a chocolate shake. We also ordered a strawberry lemonade, but they did not do that either, though it was on the menu. Once we finally ordered ($80, by the way!!!), we sat in the lobby and waited. Again, we were in no rush, but didn't expect to wait 15-20 minutes. There were no straws given with our drinks, nor were they at any of the counters so we had to flag down an employee that we could get to make eye contact with us. Remember that chocolate shake we ordered? Well, that was chocolate milk, not a shake. Once we got home, we were missing an order of fries. The other fries that we received had no seasoning or flavor of any kind, not to mention they were cold (We tried them when we got in the car, so our driving time/distance wasn't an issue in this scenario). I personally ordered the Smoke Shack, which was atrocious. I wish I would have taken a picture to capture the amount of peppers on my burger. There were more peppers than beef, so it was almost inedible. Luckily, I had some sauce at home to spice up the burger after I removed all of the peppers. The plain cheeseburger that we ordered for my son and mom were good, but nothing worth calling home about. All in all, I think this restaurant has some major improvements to make - from the customer service to food to overall quality and experience. We could not believe the food was $80, especially for how sub par it was. We will not be back for many reasons, but now we know we'll stick with In n Out or The Habit. read more

Burgers are very small and the fry we shared was also very small. We expect to be full after and we were still hungry that's how small the portions are. First time at Shake Shack. April 8, 2024 at 2:15 pm. We were greeted by Tamisha, the cashier, as we walked in. She answered our questions and took our order. Very friendly and very efficient. After you order and pay you get a number and take a seat. The place wasn't packed inside, but there were 10 more people ordering, waiting, and eating. Our food and drinks were brought to the table within 10 minutes. We had the Korean BBQ Burger, the Korean Style Fried Chicken Sandwich, the Korean BBQ Fries, and two large drinks. The food was delicious! The burger could have been a little more well done, but the flavor was excellent. We tried the Shake Shack sauce, Fry Sauce, Honey Mustard, and the Korean BBQ sauce. All very tasty. One drawback was the price. This place is pricey ($31), but it is good. We'll be back. The friendly staff, especially Tamisha, made us feel at home. Kind of heavy, very salty. The mayo they use has a salty taste to it as well, or the cheese, the combination of both, it makes the burger itself salty and heavy. The nuggets have zero flavor in the batter they use. Like no seasoning at all, reminded me of grade school cafeteria nuggets from when you were a kid, that nasty taste with no flavoring and definitely not as comparable or better in than chick fila nuggets or canes strips. Pros: - quite tasty - good amount of options - easy to get in and out of, if going eastbound Cons: - really expensive. I went here twice, the first time it was $25+ for 1 person (double patty, fries, and shake). The 2nd time it was like $34 for 2 people with just 1 more cheapest option burger or something. That's hard to compete - really long wait. Probably 6 cars in front of me and waited 45 minutes both times. Don't really want to plan my Saturday around that but I suspect that should get better with time - the to-go bag doesn't fold easily, so it's just like an open air thing in my car on the drive home so it gets cold by the time I'm home. It's the little thangs. In short: it's hard to compete if you're this place when the street it's on alone has plenty of other tasty and cheap options. The same meal at in n out 500ft away is probably like literally half the price, just as tasty, and even still a bit faster. The burgers were very small, the beef patty was thin the bun was also thin, and the bacon was not cooked very well and was poor quality, but, on a positive note, the avocado was sliced and thick. The chocolate shake was runny, and the flavor was not very good. If you want whip cream, you will pay 50 cents more. Having to place an order electronically does not give any options to modify your burgers and there here is no personal interaction with any employee. Service seemed slow, the text said the order was ready, but it was still seemed to take some time for the dinner to be brought out. The restaurant's decor was very plain. this our first time ordering, we didn't know the burgers look like so we asked for all of them plain. and the worker had the audacity to say rudely "all of our burgers are the same" then i ordered fries (also didn't know what size they came in) and he goes in an annoyed voice "all of our fries are the same". i just brushed it off. we went to go eat and the first thing we find in our fries were what looked to be pubes. then when we started eating our burgers and all of ours look super pink compared to the pictures that we saw online. this was a one star experience.. read more
