    Spicy chicken sandwich

Came here on a whim and tried out the food. Service was great. They shared their recommendations, what is most popular and how everything worked for us on our first time. They were patient with our questions and took care of us. We ordered 2 burgers, 1 fried chicken sandwich and kids chicken strips. The sandwiches were delicious. The atmosphere was cool looking. I liked how each table had its own set of condiments and napkins. Also there was a cool chalk wall you could draw on if wanted. Only negative was we ordered sweat potato fries and a regular. They brought us two regular and they were cold fries. Tasted like left overs. We shared they made a mistake and they gracefully brought a fresh order of sweet potato fries.

Burger was excellent, next time I'll get a double and try the rings. Sweet potato fries were ok. Definitely worth the stop !

One of the best hamburgers I have had in recent years! We love the chunky fries also. Great service, the restaurant is very clean, and spacious. Definitely recommend anyone who is looking for a great burger joint!

I made it! I ate it all! I barely made it! My son wanted to have a kick out of this burger challenge. Only issue I have with this order is when they added too much salt in each patty that had ruined me for days! Gosh, make sure you ask them not to add too much salt in it! Otherwise, it was a fun experience. The service and atmosphere was pleasant to soak all the smell of these burgers and fries. Their shakes were good too!

Huge helpings . Big burgers but messy, lacking flavors, not juicy. Greasy Curds. Huge salads -abundant amount of lettuce and difficult to mix up. Grand amount of toppings. Tasty Sweet potatoes needed more salt. Average service. Dirty tables Shake good flavor raspberry

First time at Burly Burger and it was okay. The staff was super kind and quick in making our food, but the dry bun and the heavy taste of a charred burger wasn't my favorite. The burger just wasn't the quality I was anticipating for a $9+.

This is the Brigham burger with 10 patties. Lots of fries and it comes with a shake.

The staff was awesome. We wanted to try the Brigham Burger not for the challenge but just to see how big it really is. It fed four adults after we cut it up. The staff was cool giving us trays to divide it up. There were lots of fries and the shakes were great. The other burgers we ordered were also delicious.

Burly Burger is an above-average burger joint, and it's fairly priced. They deliver exactly what they promise, and that earns five stars. To go a little more in depth, I ordered their pastrami burger and onion rings. The bun was really good, and while the other ingredients weren't screaming good quality, they were prepared well. They treat their pastrami better than ANY OTHER place I've been, throwing it on the heat for a second before putting it on the burger. This maillardized it a little and added awesome flavor. I was also glad they didn't put too much pastrami on it, which is a chronic issue in most of Utah and causes the pastrami to overpower the rest of the burger. Meanwhile, the onion rings were battered, not breaded, which I definitely prefer. I only wish they would salt the onions before battering them. The last thing I'll say is this place goes hard on the vibes. I don't really get why the theme is what it is, but I'm not complaining. It added a funny charm, and I spent some time laughing at their chalk signs. I think I'll go back in a few months to try their 10-patty challenge.

Brisket burger patties. We both got the classic with grilled onion instead of regular onion. Got fries (pictured) and onion rings. Unfortunately we both thought it was pretty average and wouldn't return. 2 burgers and 2 sides (no drinks) was $32 with tax. I give it 4 stars because I liked the ambiance. Typical tables and chairs though. Good service. Oh, it did fill my husband up which doesn't usually happen. Very filling.

The Burly Burger is amaze-balls. Their burgers are so fresh and so good. My lettuce was the nicest piece of shrubbery I have ever had on a burger. The beer batter fries were perfectly cooked and the perfect portion size to go with my burger. They have their logo toasted into their burger buns (holy crap, who does that!!). I highly, highly recommend Burly Burger!

They don't take reservations but I called ahead as the staff suggested to get a sense of the expected wait time. I called again to say we were on our way and When we arrived the hostess was more interested in answering the phone than helping to seat us. Over and over again she ignored us and kept us standing with all the other hopeful patrons in the tiny waiting area. With several open tables. Wtf? Finally she came to the conclusion she could seat us. Get a plan. The wine list is decent but unless you can educate your staff as to what's on offer and how to help your guests, why have it? This is typical of utah eateries. I get it. You're hamstrung by the alcohol laws to some extent but if you're going to offer wine, make the effort to educate your staff if your patrons have questions. Once ordered, our entrees came out so fast as so suggest they'd been prepared and sitting under a heat lamp. The glossy thick and cloying sweet gravy of the sauerbraten would assume nothing less. This place has promise but it's small and noisy. It was packed by 6 pm on a Friday with large parties of families toting kids in strollers. If you're looking for something quiet and intimate, you might find it on another nightie somewhere else.

One odd thing--they use table clothes but then put paper on top. This felt a bit off for the fancy atmosphere they were trying to create. We had lots of delicious food. Our meal started off with the Daily Bread & Butter and Caesar. Both paired well together. For entrees, I had the Wagyu Zabuton, which was cooked well and was paired with flavorful sides. My husband had the Lamb Chops, which were beautifully plated. All the cocktails were amazing, but my favorite was the Madam's Choice. They didn't do anything special for anniversaries, but it was fine because we were full of food and took the leftovers home. I'm excited to try this place for Sunday brunch next!

I had to wait what felt like an epoch for my delicious, chicken-y reward, and despite the size of the restaurant and relatively tame level of busy-ness, wait staff still took their sweet time and did not get bread out in a timely fashion. The ambiance is like 'millennial interior design final boss' - imagine being trapped within the pages of Magnolia Table, and everyone looks and sounds like the first Google results for 'hipster'. I wouldn't mention this if the smarminess of staff didn't compound the frustration of having to wait forever for like three pieces of bread. So, if you're in the area and have a refined palette that craves rich, delicious flavors against a backdrop of open French windows, I'd say go for it. The food definitely outcompetes the annoyance I felt. But seriously, get the chicken sandwich.
