This is an updated review as I came here on a weekday for lunch randomly and ordered through the app and showed up for a pick up. We were very lucky that it wasn't packed on a weekday and it was easy to find parking. And in fact, our pickup order was prepared early and was complete and perfect period and everything was super hot and fresh and tasty. This place is definitely gotten much better and I saw one employee solely dedicated to cleaning up the area, which was really great. I would definitely come back here again and something obviously has changed in the last four years as far as improvement. The front Ordering area although I did not have to order on premise is quite hectic, especially when it's filled with a bunch of screaming teenagers whether they're ordering with the live person or at the kiosk. My go to burger spot I love the shroom burger. Always a hit and the service so fast and friendly. All location are always clean.

We ordered our food from a kiosk and it was brought to our table in approximately 5 minutes or so. The burger had so much grease on it that I used several paper napkins to absorb the grease from the bun. The bread on the grilled cheese sandwich was toasted but the cheese wasn't melted. The fries and onions ring are nothing special and you would be better off not ordering them. Overall it's a confortable restaurant to dine in but is see no reason to return. read more

When you walk in the restaurant there is a lot of natural light from the huge windows! There are booths, tables, and outdoor seating area is covered and nice (I don't prefer dining outside, but I would dine outside here) We were not very hungry so my husband and I split a Single Shack burger it was good and we would definitely dine here again! They serve coke products which we also love! There is music playing in the background loud enough so you don't hear the conversation at the next table (which we appreciate) you have to order on the kiosk computer, but we are used to doing that at other restaurants already. Love me some shake shack! To get the full experience I recommend getting a burger, cheese fries PLUS a shake. There is an up charge for whipped cream on the shakes which I don't remember them having previously. There are several ways to order: online, in person at a kiosk or at the front counter with a staff member. My fiance and I utilized the kiosk and dined in. Once we completed ordering we took a table number and found a booth to sit at. They were fairly busy which we understood why the tables weren't the cleanest. We did clean up after ourselves which would be a great help if others did the same as well. Within 10 mins our order was brought over to our table. We shared a strawberry milkshake which was thiccccccck and creamy. At first it was a struggle to get anything with a straw so we let it sit for a bit. After 10-15 mins we were able to drink it down just fine. For food I had the shack burger and I'm all about the hype on it. For me it's all you need in a delicious cheese burger. So, we swung by here and bought a good and reliable Shackburger and a side of fries (with no salt and that was just perfect for us). Frankly, as has always been the case with Shake Shack's chicken offerings, I say just stick with their burgers which are always fresh and delicious. I was kind of disappointed in Shake Shack. It seems to get a lot of hype and the reviews tend to be good. In fairness, I picked up my order and brought it back to my office (5-minutes away). I had a Shackburger with no cheese and everything else on it and an order of fries. It was a small order, only for me. When I opened it, the smell of the burger was wonderful. The fries had a strong fried odor. I thought it wasn't much different than Smashburger or Meatheads, only with a higher price. I wasn't thrilled with their fries. They had a good taste but lacked the crispness you expect. They were somewhat soggy. I made a point earlier of mentioning how much time it took to get from Shake Shack to my office so the fries being not crisp and somewhat soggy were not a result of sitting in the bag. I really like how this shake shack looks and how open it feels. The service was great and everyone was friendly. I tried the new truffle burger and ordered a cheese fries with the cheese on the side. The food came out fresh and hot. The fries were awesome, but I did not like the truffle burger at all. I thought it was too salty and it tasted like soy sauce. I'm not a big fan of truffle flavored foods in general though. The place was upscale, and I loved the ambience. Upon entrance, we went straight up to the counter to order food. As this was my first time, I asked the person over the counter for vegetarian suggestions. He suggested Shroom Burger with French fries. We seated ourselves on the outdoor patio and waited. The waiter served our order to our table. The burger was placed inside a small bag and when I pulled the burger out, it was a little bigger than my paw and it was small. There is only one size. When I took the first bite, the burger was soft, and the patty was well cooked and crispy. It was a crispy fried Portobello mushroom filled with melted muenster and cheddar cheeses, topped with lettuce, tomato and Shake Sauce. The burger was tasty and good. By the time I realized I was enjoying it, it was already finished LOL. At the same time, I had Crinkle Cut Fries which were crispy and cut from golden potatoes and ate them along with the ketchup. Overall, I liked the place because of the ambient lightning and the resemblance of the place from outside was great! There was plenty of parking available. The outdoor patio had a bar vibe and they had foosball and ping pong to play. The customer service was good. The only disappointment is the food because the size is small, and the price is big. I've been to this location now ever since they opened. It's a good thing for my cravings but bad for the wallet. I do love the quality of their food. I never feel guilty or sick to my stomach after eating it. Although, I do think it is a bit expensive. Especially if you get a whole meal or for a family. I do prefer getting the cheese on the side now. Because whenever they add the cheese, it's either at the bottom and it's barely anything there. So I'll have dry fries to eat. Sometimes it's on the top but doesn't get to the bottom. I think you get way more out of the cup. Because I'm serious about my cheese fries lol I'm not a big fan of their chick'n bites. They're so small. My 6 year old niece would still be hungry eating a box of those lol i believe it only had 5 chickens in it. I do love their dipping sauce for it though. I am always trying whatever is their new ice cream or shake. Never disappoints. Wish some of them would make it on the menu permanently. So far, the app and curb side pick up has been going smoothly. I asked for a side of Shack sauce. I was stunned that even though the sauce cups are already tiny, they filled it barely 1/2 way. To me this seems like a joke. Like really how cheap can you get. I then asked for another and again I was given this serving size. It may look like more in the picture but let me tell you, it is even less sauce than it looks. It didn't even meet the 1/2 way mark in height. This place is pretty expensive so you would think that it would be at least one full side of sauce. Beautiful opening at this new location in sunny Schaumburg. Not too bad of a wait for their opening day at 11:30. Same great menu I've seen at other sites with the addition of a pumpkin pie shake. I had to try it! Its fabulously smooth, sweet and creamy. Think pumpkin chiffon pie in a cup! I ordered a standard Shake Shack cheeseburger and was not disappointed. Fries were hot and crispy. I went with my daughter and her friend and we're all vaccinated but didn't have the proof with us so we opted to eat in the car. No big deal at all, we didn't mind.
