Awarding an extra star for being open late! We had just gotten back to our hotel (The Graduate) after coming to down for a concert. It was late and our food options were limited. We were also exhausted after a day of driving and the show, so dining in our hotel room sounded hella appealing. Enter Shake Shack, only a few doors down from the hotel and still open. We ordered online and my husband scooped it up to save a few bucks on delivery. As far as Shake Shacks go, it's pretty standard. I got a single shack burger and a side of cheese fries. I can't score above a 3 because I just feel these locations need to train the young people who are working the front customer facing positions need to receive training on basic customer service skills like smiling and greeting the customer. Came here because they had a Korean burger, and I love Korean food, and even though I was not at all impressed by the Easton location I figured I'd give them another chance. Burger was good not great. Small, almost no Koreanish flavor till I got to the dollop of sauce in the middle. Overpriced. And the whole experience was less than pleasant. Got the burger, a lemonade, and ate there. Well, I tried to eat. Music was way too loud. I'm too old I guess. Empty on a weekday, and it was cranked like it would be on a Saturday night. Cold inside. I had to leave my coat on. I fixed those problems by going to the next-door hotel, you have to walk that way anyway, because Shake Shack's door is broken. There are big tables over there, and a much more pleasant environment. Plus, the seats in Shake Shack are uncomfortable. The tables are very basic, and the booths are simply too tight. These old legs don't bend enough to get in there, and everything is bolted down. This place has become awful lately. I don't know who they have hiring, but in the past 5 months every person working there seems like they don't wanna work. They play and joke with each other while people wait way too long for the wrong food. This used to be our close-by go-to place on busy nights. Every time we go now they're in there messing around like children, and our order is wrong. Freezing cold, rock hard fries (that they always forget to include and I have to ask for them). We always order shack burgers (the most basic burger they have) and it is always messed up. Tonight I got a crumbled patty on a dry bun with NOTHING else on it. No sauce, no toppings, nothing. And the usual freezing croutons they call fries. What a disaster. Whoever is running this location is running it into the ground. Fire people who don't work and hire someone who will actually be friendly, nice, approachable, and pay attention to what they're putting in the bag. Until then, go anywhere else. read more

I come here somewhat often as its pretty close to columbus state and ive always had a great experience! love the burgers so much and even though i dont usually like crinkle cut fries i actually think theirs are pretty good. its definitely a step or two above a wendys or mcdonalds and thats easily told by the price but also the quality as well. definitely will continue to come back. read more

They have you wait in line because they only allow a limited amount of people at a time. The line moves pretty fast and the employee working the line was nice. We got it and ordered at the touch screen kiosk so you have less interactions with the employees. We got two Shackburgers and fries. Our food came out quick. My favorite is always the fries. I was finally able to get the full shake shack experience and wow it was wonderful! The burger is truly an awesome burger. The sauce on it is great, the bun is fresh and thin. If you are getting the fries, you have to get the cheese sauce, it is incredible. Finally!! Shake Shack in CBUS! 2 locations! So happy this has finally happened.. can ya tell??? I always kept hearing that the Easton location was packed so I was super excited about the Short North location (closer to me). Located right in the middle of the Short North- it's a great spot for a quick bite to eat while walking about the Short North. It could be really easy to miss if you aren't looking- located near Goodale park on High St. The decor is very modern. The restaurant isnt' very large, so I could see how it would get crowded very fast. The only part of the restaurant that didn't make the most sense was were the menu was located. When you walk in, you are initially drawn to the register area (like any typical fast food spot), however the menu is not listed above/behind it, but on one of the walls. *maybe its just me lol* I think this was only my 2nd or 3rd time in my life getting Shake Shack & this time didn't disappoint either. This is my freaking all-time favorite when it comes to chain restaurants. Ever since they opened the first spot back in my home of New York. I've been hoping and praying that they would one day appear in my new home of Columbus, Ohio. When that day came, I made sure that I was there no matter how long the freaking line was. I love the savory taste of the burgers here. They pair well with all the toppings that you get on it. No matter what it is that you get. The patties have a crunchy outside and juicy on the inside. The seasoning of the burger is quite simple. It's not overwhelming. You still get to taste the freshness of the beef, without compromising the integrity of it. The toppings are always fresh, never wilted. The bun is always clean and has a great taste as well. Fries are one of my favorites. I love fresh-cut fries, but the crinkle fries from here are my second favorite. They remind me of home. Crunchy outside and tender in the middle. It's freaking fantastic. Eating the fries at the same time as the burger, it's just complete Ecstasy! The flavor of the fries shines through, so I don't cover it up with ketchup. Service-wise. They try to get you in and out of there with your order as quick as possible. You never have to wait too long in a line, for they have multiple ways in which you can order. I used to work near the Shake Shack in the SN and went when they first opened. Then, the food was great, a good quality burger with all the standard toppings. I would leave feeling full and not greasy. Fast forward a few years and I'm working from home and haven't had SS in a while. I decided to order one via UberEats. The presentation/packaging was good, nothing smashed or dumped. However, the burger within the box was quite a bit of a disappointment. I tried their Truffle Burger, single, with a gluten free bun (my standard). What I received was a burger about the size of a single with cheese from the McDonald's dollar menu. It was very small, with maybe four pieces of onion, and poorly spread sauce. For a $10 burger, this was really disappointing. The burger itself was cooked well, but the rest of the sandwich was regrettable and forgettable. I also got a shake, and that was still good. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll electively going back, since their burgers just don't match what they used to be when they first started. In a way, they're symbolic of what we all were hoping for for 2021, only to be met with a lackluster reality. read more
