Came here with my daughter to grab a bite while running errands. Even though it had just opened, there was a line at the kiosks so a young man at the counter called us over to assist. We ordered, sat, and our food came out quickly. We both ordered a ShackBurger (except hers was in a lettuce wrap), an order of cheese fries and a Fifty/Fifty Lemonade Tea. Everything was delicious! The beef was tender and flavorful, with just the right amount of condiments, lettuce, and tomato. The cheese fries were fantastic, so glad we got one to split. It looks small, but the fries were piled on high. Definitely enough for two. Even the lemonade tea combo was great. Nice to see that offered. Our host Jennifer 64 couldn't have been more professional and welcoming. She took her order quickly for five and repeated everything back correctly before charging. Our cheeseburgers, single and double ordered with extra cheese, however, looking at it, you couldn't tell if extra cheese was added. Usually not my favorite, but it was easy and efficient and no judging eyes when I wanted both regular fries and truffle fries! You can still order at the counter if you prefer. I went with the French Onion Soup Burger, and wow! So good! I'd eat fried onions on everything if I could, and the buttery, soft potato bun pulled it all together. They use 100% Angus beef, and you can really taste the quality. A little greasy, but exactly what you'd want in a smash burger. I almost regretted getting just a single patty, but after eating I'm relieved because I was full full! I left just enough room to try the banana pudding milkshake. I'd been craving banana pudding ever since another spot was out of it, so this shake was basically redemption in a cup! Sweet, creamy, banana-y perfection. Totally worth the extra calories. The vibe was modern and lively but not overcrowded. There are a couple outdoor tables as well if you want to enjoy some sunshine with your meal. We sat at a hightop by the window, where we could people watch. Everything came out hot and fresh, and the staff member was super friendly when he brought the food out. Bonus: they also offer vegetarian options. A veggie patty or a portobello mushroom burger, which I'll definitely be trying next time. It seemed as if ppl knew what they wanted from their previous experience. Seating was available outside which was nice because the weather was just right to enjoy lunch with the summer heat and a cool slight breeze. Burgers and shakes were ok, but the fries were a bust. Ordered spicy, but they were just fries with spicy dust caked on top of the fries with some ranch. I'd recommend M shack for a quick snack. My first visit to shake shack because T mobile has a coupon. I got a free burger I gave to my husband because I'm a vegetarian. I got the truffle fries and a kiwi lemonade. Alas I can't try their shakes because it is too cold outside. My fries were tasty but I didn't realize the truffle was part of cream sauce so I gave that to my husband as well. The thai tea milkshake tasted good but towards the end of the sip the flavor was a little strong like they used a concentrate and not actual thai tea. The smokeshack was good although the top bun on my burger was cold. Chicken was nicely seasoned but avocado didn't really taste like much and took away from it, maybe it should be guacamole instead. The truffle fries crisp and seasoned well, the truffle sauce came on the side which was appreciated and it wasn't to strong of a flavor. Good burger just as I remember it from New York. Service allows you to order on the computers yourself for card pay only. Cash payment is upfront with the staff. For 1 shack burger, 1 shack chicken 2 lemonades, a fry, and an iced tea was $33. A little on the pricy side for as small as a burger I had, and the fries are not my fav. Shake shack was full of friendly employees when I walked in. I was greeted and chose to skip the line and use one of their touch screens to place my order. It was very efficient. I had my receipt in no time, and took my number placard to sit down. I only had to wait a few minutes for the meal to arrive. I got napkins and ketchup ready. I've been to several shake shacks in my time. One in the ATL airport and another one in Lexington, both times I had great experiences, so I was super excited that Jacksonville was getting their first Shake Shack. I went in knowing that they had just opened, so I knew they'd be packed. It's in where the old M-shack was. If you've never been to a Shake Shack, you order on a screen, take a number, and either head to your table or wait for your order to go. There was a line to order, so I knew it would take some time. Seating was tricky, with a handful of tables inside and out, and a small bar area for seating, I would probably avoid coming here during lunch, as it gets slammed, unless you have no where to be. I ordered my cheeseburger, cheese fries, and a diet coke, grabbed my number and waited. We waited about 20 minutes for our order. I am assuming once they've been open longer, and have this down to a science, they will get quicker with time. When we finally found a spot, we had to clean off the counter area. Luckily they had table wipes where the garbage was so I grabbed a few of those. The person who brought me my order was pleasant, asked if we needed anything else. I was looking forward to trying the cheese fries. The cheese sauce was good, but there was barely any on it. I was hoping more than 5 fries would have been covered. We both said "wow can't wait to have a Shake Shack in Jacksonville"! I hate to say this but we were very disappointed in our meal!!!! My wife got the 6 count chicken nuggets with the shack sauce. She said the nuggets were very greasy. The flavor itself was good but was just too greasy. We both shared the truffle fries. The truffle fries were very good and tasty! My wife got the Apple Cider Donut Milkshake and it was very good! I got the Black Truffle Burger. The photo looked really good but when I got mine it looked nothing like it. It was just OK and really not much flavor. The bread was mushy. The burger was sort of small compared to the photo. In my opinion for the price it needed to be a little bigger and not a junior size! I got the Christmas Cookie Milkshake. It was really good! I've been to Shake Shack in NYC a few times before and generally like their food. I do appreciate that they offer lettuce wraps and their burgers are decent. But I was disappointed at Shake Shack in Town Center today for two reasons. First, I had an offer for a free Truffle Burger or Truffle Fries, which I went out of my way to use, but unfortunately they do not carry any truffle items in Jacksonville any more. So needless to say. It's disappointing that Shake Shack would advertise something that is not available in all their stores. Second, I decided to indulge and order the Shack Stack. I've had it before and I loved that the shroomburger part is stuffed with melted cheese that oozes out when you bite into it. So I was very disappointed that my shroomburger had no cheese at all and it was overcooked and dry. It seems as though it fell apart in the frying and instead of putting in a fresh one they just put pieces of it back together without the cheese. I wish I had taken a picture. read more

My first time visiting the new Shake Shack that just opened and I'm honestly so shocked at how good my burger was. I ordered the truffle burger (which I think is a limited time item) and it was insanely good. Truly the best burger I've had in about a year from an establishment - which shocked me since this is a chain restaurant. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the crispy opinions, truffle sauce, and cheese aided the flavors of the burger so well. I also ordered the truffle fries on the side which comes with truffle sauce and Parmesan cheese on top. The fries itself were super underwhelming but the truffle sauce was soooo good! It is a bit pricey but if they can continue to dish out burgers like this, I wouldn't mind paying the price again. read more

Those drinks alone cost $11.26. In total, I spent just over $60 for two burgers, two fries, a 6-piece nugget, and three shakes, which felt overpriced for the value.
