On the way back from the Mayo Clinic last night we were starving and needed to find a spot to eat. Most places in this area close at 9pm which is nuts. Happy to find that Culver's is open until 11pm each day. Super friendly counter staff, clean place, plenty of seating. Culver's is a step above fast food and I was able to eat pretty healthy here. Had a grilled chicken sandwich value basket which included a choice of side (my choice - steamed broccoli), and a fountain soda (my choice - Culver's own diet root beer) and was more than satisfied. Made fresh and the sandwich was good. After ordering they give you a number then deliver it to your table. Great service. Plenty on the menu to choose from. They have a tasty ButterBurger which my gal had, steamed broccoli, diet root beer, and a peanut butter marshmallow frozen custard for dessert. In fact, they offer a custard flavor of the day each month as they change daily. Will definitely be back here since they stay open late evening. read more

I stopped by Culver's after a church event. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries in the drive-thru. Their drive-thru was set up differently than most. You order, then pay, then pull around and wait for them to bring it to your car. There were two rows to wait for your food (at least at this location). The person at the drive-thru will tell you which lane to pull in. The burger was hot and tasty and the fries were good too. I'm my opinion their burgers are higher-end compared to other fast food restaurants. I also got a milkshake which was refreshing and delicious. I'll be back! read more

I work just across the street from Culver's and come here pretty often on break or after or before work place is just good. Every time I go I usually get buffalo tenders or the bacon deluxe. Both hit every single time. If you go to Culver's and get fries, it's low-key a sin. They're obviously not bad but the onion rings and everything else is so much better IMO. If you've never gone go, definitely give it a try you will not be disappointed. Staff are also very friendly. Just the other day on Fourth of July, I happen to be working swung in there to get a burger got another one for free for another day pretty cool. read more

It's across the street from my office so this is an easy fall back if I don't bring my lunch. The staff is always nice. The last few times it's seems like there has been a newer group of employees but they are still very nice and keep the line moving. I get a Double butter burger without mayo or pickles pretty much every time. They are pretty consistent. We came late in the evening around 10:30 PM and used the drive-through to grab dessert. Despite the late hour, the staff was friendly, fast, and helpful, though they almost handed us the wrong order at the window. Easy mix-up and quickly corrected. We ordered: Flavor of the Day: Chocolate Caramel Cookie Dough Custard - rich, creamy, and indulgent. The caramel swirl adds a nice gooey touch, and the cookie dough bits give it that classic childhood comfort. Vanilla Custard - simple, thick, and satisfyingly rich without being too sweet. A reliable favorite. Lemon Mango Ice - this one was more of a slushy texture than ice cream, super refreshing and tart. Flavor was vibrant and tropical, but there were some odd chunks of citric acid or frozen concentrate that didn't mix in smoothly, giving it a strange texture in some sips. this restaurant surpasses my initial expectations. The gluten-free buns is a distinct advantage. ( Great thought) My wait time was brief, about 5-10 minutes. My food came out perfectly cooked, medium well and my fries were crispy and salted nicely. Culver's is know for their frozen custard and specialty treats. Open for just one day, this Culver's seems to be running quite well. Although they had to close early on the first day due to a water issue, on day two, they are welcoming people with a smile, making food fresh, and moving customers through the line. We got the butterburger and sourdough melt, along with a couple of shakes, fries, and cheese curds. While they got my mix-in wrong for my shake (butter cake instead of chocolate cake) and it was much more of a concrete than a shake as all the mix-ins were at the bottom of the cup, they were very nice people so I let it go. I've loved Culver's for over a decade and a half, since my days living in Minnesota, and I'm very excited about this new location. It's great to see more Culver's around Jacksonville. read more

I absolutely love that this is now super close to home. Their customer service parallels Chick-fil-A! It's my pleasure, it's our pleasure, along with a bright smile and fresh hot food - what more could you ask for? I know what I asked for, gluten-free... They have perfected the gluten-free process. I can enjoy a delicious burger without worry. This new store flowed so quickly and so smoothly I was in shock at how quick from when I placed my order until I was headed home, seriously mere minutes!! Today I tried a mushroom Swiss burger, and I liked it. I still prefer the regular cheeseburger done my way, but will probably get the mushroom Swiss occasionally. The fries and cheese sauce (though ¢99 for a little container!) were as good as usual, though on this day I wasn't as impressed with the vanilla custard as I have been in the past; maybe I'll try the chocolate next time. My wife got the custard of the day, which was turtle dove, I believe. It had chocolate chunks and nuts in it. It wasn't my favorite (cold chocolate chunks), but I remember liking the custard of the day once before here, so we'll periodically try the daily specials. This place is a good value because they give you so many free things. We got a free kid's meal this time because we'd saved up 10 Scoopie coupons from kid's meals, and we also got a free custard from filling out the survey you get with every meal. Service is a cut or two above too. We continue to enjoy this place. read more

This Culver's is officially the stingiest restaurant I've ever encountered when it comes to fry portions. I'm not exaggerating--on my most recent visit, I counted just 12 French fries in my "meal." Twelve! That's barely a snack, let alone a side worthy of a combo meal. And this isn't a one-time fluke. It's become a pattern. Every single visit, the number of fries I receive gets smaller and smaller--as if they're slowly trying to train customers to expect less. Honestly, it feels like a scam. You're paying for a full side of fries, and they're scraping together a sad handful and tossing it in the basket like they're doing you a favor. I don't know if this location is trying to cut corners or hit some food cost metric, but it's flat-out dishonest to serve people less than what they paid for. Call it what you want--skimping, shortchanging, cheating--it all adds up to the same thing: Culver's at this location is ripping people off. For a company that usually has a decent reputation, this is unacceptable. The food may be fine, but the experience of being consistently shorted on fries leaves a bad taste in my mouth--and in my wallet. I'm done. This was my last visit. If you value your money and want a proper portion of fries, skip the Hodges Blvd. Culver's and go somewhere else. One star, and even that feels generous. read more

Culver's is our go-to place. Customer service is generally up there close to chick-fil-a. Food is hot and fresh and I can honestly say, they have never gotten our order wrong. That says alot given that every other fast food and others short us food and/or mess up the orders. They just don't care. Culver's treats you right and gets it right. The menu is plentiful with something for everyone. In addition, plenty of dessert options. They are known for their desserts. It is a destination just for that. We will continue to go for the cook to order food and fantastic desserts as well as stellar service. So glad they have moved into the area. read more

Opening week for Culver's Hodges and it was delicious! Their staff did a fantastic job of welcoming and staying on top of keeping things clean and moving. My favorite is the Atlantic cod fish sandwich. I literally dream of how light and flaky the sandwich is. We finished dinner with some yummy custard! Every online menu I searched had no prices! unbelievable! with the climate this nation is in why would any business not show prices? I guess that may be the way to get you in & well since you're in there may as well pay the price & stay. That's a real lousy way of doing business, for that reason I will never go back to a Culver's! Grilled chicken sandwich was average to taste but small, the size of the chicken piece is something you'd use to make chicken tenders. Chili was really good. Chili deluxe had a few pieces of onions, minimal cheese & sour cream out of a packet. My hubby loved the shake, Im not a big egg custard person so he had mine. lol We sat inside and it was very clean, including restroom! It is a newer location so everything is nice & appealing. The server James, he needs to slow down a bit & speak clearly. James, not everyone that goes in there knows the menu or has been there before, try to keep that in mind. He made me feel that I was holding up a line. There was no one else waiting.
