I explained that this was our first phone call today to management and we were simply looking for a timeline since we hadn't heard back all weekend. But he refused to listen, claimed he told us to wait until Monday (which is not in our call recordings or my notes), and canceled the service. Very unprofessional conduct. We suspect this company is discriminatory due to us not sounding like we are from the area and being based out of state. We also paid for our job, but have yet to receive a full refund.

I went on the roof with him and he noticed damage in some areas. My insurance company sent out one of their inspectors and he noted the damage. As always my insurance company nickel and dimed the situation to do the bare minimum of repairs. The Restoration Guys know what they are doing, they got me a full roof replacement . It took some time and some fighting with my insurance company, but they guided me through the process and in the end the whole roof was replaced for just the cost of my $1,000 deductible. However I was concerned about a fire hazard as the gas burner was still going as the water left in the tank and it was starting to boil off and was sending steam all over the place. I called Raymond for immediate help as I needed to figure how to shut everything off When I called, rather than helping I was told someone would come in 4 or 5 hours. Even when I explained I needed immediate help to shut everything down and turn off the valves Raymond could not help and told me to call someone else. Fortunately I was able to find another Plummer who walked me through shutdown and I was able to save my basement from flooding. Later I called back to see if Raymond would come out and look at their faulty work and repair. Raymond said they would not come out. We had someone else fix up their mistakes. In the end we came out okay but it could have be a disaster and it is clear thar Raymond has no interest in standing behind their work. They even went above and beyond to work with my existing antiquated utilities. The mess left behind was no worse than that of other tradesmen I have hired (dust, greasy fingerprints, bootprints, etc). One of the men took one of my kitchen towels and used it as a rag without asking. It was then left balled up on the floor. Google them before letting them in. If your gut tells you not to let them in, do not let them in. Do not take your eyes off them for a second. If possible, place cameras, even around items of no/low value, kids' toys, knick-knacks, etc, even if they are too high up to reach normally.
