I had no idea this place existed. It's very rare that I need a tailor. Yesterday was one of those rare occasions. I got my coat caught in a door and it ripped my zipper off the seam. The warmth of my coat wasn't jeopardized, but it looked ugly so I wanted it fixed.I found this place online and called since it was close to home. They were able to fix it at a reasonable price. If it were possible to give no stars I would have. I am a first-time bride. I dropped my $3000 wedding gown at this business to have my alterations completed. I had detached lace that needed to be added to the hem of the dress once the alterations were made. I dropped my dress off and once it was ready I picked it up and paid the $400 bill. Once I got the dress home, I tried it on only to find there were several issues with the dress. All of the lace had not been attached. There were straight pins in the lace, dirty finger prints on the underskirt of the dress where it appeared someone working on the dress had been eating something and then touched the dress, what appeared to be short animal hairs sewn into parts of the hem, holes in the tulle and instead of properly laying the lace out - places where it had just been cut and fabric glue used to adhere it to the tulle. I called immediately to let the owner know I needed to bring my dress back and the issues that were at hand. I was told that she was going to be on vacation and would "try" to get my dress back to me before my wedding. That was unacceptable to I had to pay someone else to fix these issues. When I called and asked for a partial refund I was told "we don't do that, and we are human these things happen. But we will give you a credit" A CREDIT!?!?!?! I WOULD NOT EVER USE THIS BUSINESS AGAIN....WHY ON EARTH WOULD I WANT A CREDIT??? AGAIN UNACCEPTABLE. I tried to play nice and was given unapologetic, abrasive responses. Please if you're looking for a tailor or dry cleaner...keep moving past this one because your property will be ruined, and the owner will go on vacation with your money. read more

This is our GO-TO place for zipper replacement and fabric repairs. Service has been amazingly fast when the zipper isn't too unusual. They have washed my down parkas and they came out better than other place's dry cleaning. read more

Absolutely amazing establishment!! I've had two dresses altered from here and they have turned out beautifully! Even better than the quality of work though, is the customer service! You will not find more kind, genuine people. I made the mistake of not picking up a dress before they closed today (my Maid of Honor dress for my sister's wedding). Initially, I thought, "it's okay, I'll just pick it up before we fly out tomorrow." When I realized they were closed on Thursday's, I was devastated! Thankfully, the owner quickly responded to my messages and will be going out of her way to allow me to pick up the dress on her day off. Her kindness literally saved the day and brought tears to my eyes. I don't do a lot of dry cleaning but I've used this cleaner 3 times now, pretty much just to have dress shirts cleaned and pressed so I don't have to iron them myself. At about $1.50 it's worth it. Plus it's walking distance. I've never needed a rush on anything but it's always been ready on time(usually 3 days). My first visit I brought a shirt that had red wine spilled on it to see if they could get it out. They were not able to fix it but in their defense it had been set in for at least a month before I took it in. I'm heading there today to bring some shirts, a pair of pants and to have some stitching fixed on a tie. I will update if there are any issues. read more

I had a great experience getting a rush order tailored here. I ordered a dress online and it didn't arrive until the day before my flight for a wedding. They were able to get me in and even though the dress had several layers were able to hem it and take it in in less than 24 hours. It fit like a glove and was very comfortable. It was a bit pricey being a rush order, but worth it once I tried it on and saw how good it fit. read more

I will no longer be using this dry cleaner. I like to support local business, but I've become too fed up with their service to continue using. The latest is I cannot seem to get my shirts back because their laundry service is down. I went the first time to be told that rather than someone calling me and informing me that it would be delayed. She said they would be ready on Friday. I ended up going in Saturday and they still were not back. Again no one bothered to call me that was the case. So now I have driven there twice and I still don't have my clothes. And the best the owner could do was say "it was out of her control" and offer me 10% off. At this point I don't believe I should have to pay anything but it's not worth the effort. I just want my clothes back and then I will be finding another dry cleaner. I would suggest if you want yours back in a timely fashion you do the same. read more

I took my leather skirt to this location to be altered. I was asked to pay a $20 deposit and I would receive a phone call from the owner For the balance...No problem . When it was time to pick up the skirt after the alterations were completed, I paid for the skirt but was refused a receipt. When I asked the clerk for my receipt ( that should not be working anywhere in customer service) said you didn't ask for a receipt....REALLY I have to ask for a receipt detailing what I paid . Then she said usually people don't ask for a receipt REALLY???? How do I know the total of what I paid?? Well I was told "since you used your credit card you can use that credit card receipt "the receipt that does not show the total of what I paid just my balance., and the receipt that I received when I paid my $20 deposit. So If I have a problem with my alterations I have no proof what I paid ($70) . Since I am a returning customer I won't be returning again and I will tell anyone that will listen. A receipt is a right, what is supposed to be automatic when you purchase something from a legitimate business ... WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO HIDE.... Beware read more

In a business that is completely focused on customer service, this establishment did not put a good foot forward. As a first time customer, I dropped off a leather coat for a new zipper and cleaning on 3/23. I prepaid the entire amount of the work. The work was promised to be completed on 4/8, 16 days later, after 4:30. When I came in to pick it up, I was told that it was not available until tomorrow. When I asked why, I was told that the person who does the leather cleaning changed his delivery time and it would not be available until the next day. When I asked when this was known, the employee stated that he changed this the prior week. I asked why, since all my phone information was taken when I dropped off the coat, could I not have been contacted so I would not go out of my way to the store. I swear, she looked at me like I was a two-headed alien for even suggesting such a level of customer service. Not once were words like "sorry", "apologize", used; indeed, the tone was clear that nothing more will be done or offered for my inconvienience. The attitude of the employee betrayed no interest in providing superior customer service. Since the actual services provided by this establishment are easily duplicated, I would strongly suggest one find a business that is actually interested in providing the one thing that makes one cleaning and/or tailoring place different from another - a place that keeps its promises, and when it can't, take the lead in providing an alternative. read more

I was recommended to bring my items here because the tailor has a very good reputation. I brought them two pair of pants for hemming and one for dry cleaning. They were expected to be available for pickup on a Monday. I picked one up on Thursday. The one that went out for dry cleaning appears to be missing. I paid 50% up front for the cost which covers the cost of the pant available for pickup. I asked them to call me when they found the pants and I would pay the balance. Instead the woman told me that she was going to call the police on me because it would be considered theft if I left with my one pair of pants even though what I paid covered the cost. I showed her my receipt for the payment and said I thought it was reasonable to pay the balance once they actually found my pants. She persisted to say they would call the police. This is so ridiculous to be treated this way, especially when they lost a pair of expensive dress pants. I did not wish to escalate this more so I paid the cash on the amount due and asked for the manager to call me when she returned. I am waiting to see if they find my pants. This was so insulting to be threatened in this way for something that is not my fault. And, she didn't even bother to apologize for the fact that they lost my pants. So disappointed.
