My whole experience with Shake's Roofing was great. Keith is very professional and does a great job of providing a service that met all my expectations. He made sure he took the time to talk me through the process and explained exactly what I needed to have done and how they were going to do it. On the day of the job all of the workers were professional and were able to complete the whole roof in one day, even though the weather was not the greatest. They did a great job of cleaning up and make sure everything was done right. After several roof estimates I decided to choose Shakes roofing and siding, as the owner Keith came out, inspected my roof, and I feel was far more fair in pricing than any other roofer. He was also able to accommodate our busy schedule and start the following week. His crew showed up and were some of the fastest and hardest working men I have seen. Here's a review that gets right to the point: I used Shake's Roofing a few years ago to replace my roofing on the main portion of our house. And then 3 years later, I used them again to replace the roofing on the remaining extension. I think that says it all, right? The owner is honest, knowledgeable, and he's very reasonably priced. Keith did such a great job--he came out for an estimate, gave me an honest assessment (I was expecting to have to get a whole new section of roof; he told me point blank that the problem was a clogged downspout and one small area of leak). It takes honesty and integrity to look at a woman willing to pay five grand and say, "Nope, this is an easy fix!" The rain prevented Keith from coming out to clean the spouts for a few days, but the minute it was clear, he pulled up in his truck and had the problems fixed in just a few hours. Our roof was 27 years old and we discovered a minor leak. Keith and Chad came out to inspect and quote roof replacement. Because of the leak, they were able to re-adjust their schedule and start within days of the contract acceptance. They completed the task in-between rainstorms and it only took one day! My issues stemmed from an early spring hail storm and involved my roof, siding and gutters. after two separate insurance inspections reported minimal damage, I asked Keith from SHAKE'S to take a look. We had a skylight leak during a period of several rainy days, and understandably we wanted to be back to normal as soon as possible. Shake's team arrived the day they promised, 15 minutes early, and were in and out and had our skylight replaced before we knew it. They were very courteous and went out of their way to protect our belongings while they worked. After they left, we didn't even know they were there - except there was a new skylight and no more leak! It didn't hurt that they were much less than other quotes we got. Keith and his crew worked quickly and finished the job very professionally. (No nails in the yard) Great company to work with, very helpful when making decisions about the roof over your head.... Great work by Keith and crew! From estimate to completion, the service went off without a hitch. Going into this, I knew I had a bad area of the roof with a flatter pitch, so I thought I'd have to replace a lot beyond the shingles such as the sheathing, but was informed that didn't need to be done --- I felt I could trust them the whole time. Shakes roofing estimate was right in the middle of 5 estimates. When the job was complete the final price matched the estimate. The quality of the material and workmanship was what we expected and shakes delivered. The crew was professional and courteous and always cleaning up the debris.
