Worst customer service I have ever experienced at any restaurant, all because Valerie decided to take it upon herself to jump into a conversation I was having to check in the status on an order. Not only was she rude, she wanted to "insult" me. All I wanted to do is check the status on an order she didn't place, because she lacks common sense. They showed the upmost respect and kindness to my dad, a veteran who has been having it rough lately. Shakey's one of my all time great pizza parlors. Food was good and the place was packed with people. The only downfall was that we got to the buffet and it was almost over. However they didn't tell us that the salad bar was also closing at the same time as the buffet. It got resolved and that was it. read more

Hi we came to celebrate my grandson birthday. I have been to shakeys many times but today was not a good experience for all of us the mojos were terrible they were very hard overcooked. This is a go to all the time!!! Never disappoints. My family and I have been coming here since they opened. Before we would go to the upland location. Now this is closer to home. We often come to bunch of lunch. When we get here we always put in a request if our pizza isn't out. My daughter loved the marshmallow dessert pizza. The pizza is always fresh and the buffet is always clean. The establishment itself is always in tip top shape. The women who clean the tables and bring new plates are always so nice and treat you like family. The arcade is always clean and everything work. You won't see a shakeys pizza this clean. This is a must place to go. During covid we would place a Togo order and take it home. The staff was so nice and great fun for our business. According to Supervisor Linda, if I wanted the buffet and 2 pieces (breast and wing) white meat. The buffet would have cost me $18.99 plus 3.19 with a drink equal to $22.18 plus tax . I grew up eating Skakey's Pizza in Texas. With the Fontana restaurant right across from my hotel, I had to see if they still made great pizzas. I called the restaurant at 8:45 pm, 15 minutes before they closed and they still placed my order. Both the pizza and mojos were still hot when I returned to my hotel to eat. Today on 11/21, I went to the buffet at shakeys and I heard a customer greet the manager and the male manager greeted him in a rude manner and said, "Hey, pendejo." I was in shock and think this is very unprofessional behavior for this establishment no words can describe the disappointment I have. That poor customer didn't even know how to react. Our 3 kids received a gift certificate reward from their school for a free small pizza. Awesome, right? Wrong! We decided to stop by and use it. First time coming to Shakey's but have driven very the location numerous times. We got to the cashier and presented the recognition awards certificate. She told us that only one can be redeemed per family. I told her each kid got one and I understood if it was 1 kod claiming 3 certificates, but that isn't the case. She didn't care and repeated the same speech. I ordered a family meal for the rest of us and 1 child redeemed their reward. Cashier said we can do the same next time to redeem another reward. I said, "thanks?" After that visit, we are not going back. Other places provide better atmosphere and pizza for today's prices. read more

Haven't been to a Shakey's in years, so it's quite nice to finally come here. Very nostalgic. I had the buffet as usual. The pizza was decent, the mojo potatoes were good as usual, but the fried chicken was surprisingly great. I was even able to find chicken breasts this time. I do have to say this place was busy when I went (Saturday lunch), and I had to make sure to get a table first before I could pay. The service wasn't too bad either given the crowd. I ordered wings and their half order of mojo potatoes and it was almost $30. That was kind of pricey in my opinion so that is why I gave it 4 stars.
