We bought several engines from Shakti auto parts as described on the page. Normally he deals mostly Japanese and German parts which is what he specialized in. He also deal with american engines and parts. We never had the problems with any of his engines he sold it with 6 months warranty all the time all japanese engines. We have always done business with him for over 8 years. His service is excellent he always explain to everyone and tell customers if not happy let him know and he will take care of it. read more

CROOKS!! We purchased an engine from Shakti in June 2020. The engine they sent was entirely the wrong engine. Not broken or malfunctioning, it was the wrong engine. Shakti blamed our mechanic, that they just didn't know how to install it. Which is ridiculous. They refused to refund our cost. Instead, after months of arguing, they finally agreed to a store credit with a 90-day expiration. We tried many times to use that credit but they supposedly never had even the smallest parts that we needed. We weren't able to use a single dollar of the $750 they had of our money before the 90 days ran out -- and of course they wouldn't extend it. This is a scam. I strongly believe that they purposely send you the wrong engine then only agree to store credit and purposely say they don't have anything your looking for. This isn't just bad business, its theft. I tried dealing with them professionally including going thru the BBB (go to BBB to see the details of our complaint) but they didn't even reply to the BBB. GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY!! read more

BEWARE! DO NOT DO any business with them. I purchased a headlight for my Buick Enclave, and they not only shipped the incorrect part, the part was also damaged. After I informed the owner, he refused to accept this, and stopped taking my calls. I sent the part back to him via FedEx and he accepted the delivery but did not reverse the charges on my credit card. I have filed a complaint with Chase. Absolutely terrible service. I Have been in business for 25 years and I have never dealt with this kind of bull shit before. I have been calling them for 3 weeks trying to find out if the part I'm buying comes with a specific vacuum line and they would not answer the question. It is absolutely ridiculous. I can't even get pictures of a $3000 engine to make sure it is what I need. read more

Do not on any account use Shakati Auto Parts. They advertised that they had the part that I needed in stock, in "like new" condition for $75. That was a lie. When I called, I was told that they had a range of parts at different prices. I drove thirty miles and bought a part for $100 that on installation was found to broken in two places. They had sold me a piece of garbage. I drove all the way back and they swapped it for another part that was for an earlier model of the car and therefore did not work. I went there for a third time. You might have expected them to say sorry that I was inconvenienced, but I was told that it was my fault because they didn't force me to buy it. They refused to refund my money without deducting a charge for returning the item. This is the worst service imaginable by people who have zero respect for the customer. In summary, I was ripped off by a scam operation that lied, cheated, thieved my money and was then disrespectful. A horrible service by people who don't care about their customers. read more

I purchased an engine for my vehicle 7 days ago from Shakti Auto in person. I located the engine based on a listing they had online. I double checked with them over the phone and when I arrived that they had the exact engine for the year and make of my vehicle. The guy when I arrived was insistent that all Honda engines he had on his shelf would "work for my Acura". I reminded him that from what my mechanic and every other shop I talked to said it needed to be that specific year and one that I was requesting. He assured me he had been in business over 10 years and that he knew what he was talking about. Guess what he didn't and the engine was not only the wrong type for my car but it was a bad one and smoked when put in according to my mechanic. Instead of apologizing and admitting that he was wrong when I called to let them know I was told either my mechanic must not have really put the engine in or that I better make sure the engine is complete with all parts when I bring it back if I want the refund that I'm requesting. A little customer service along the lines of we are sorry we inconvienced you instead of accusing the customer of not doing something right would really go a long ways. I now see this business has a history of this in its past BBB cases of giving customers the wrong parts so rather than risk being given another wrong or bad engine from them I'm requesting a full refund due to an error on their part. Even upon purchasing I tried to ensure they didn't make this error when I asked for like the third time were they positive that this was the correct engine I requested. Just don't waste your time like me. Go somewhere else! read more
