12/19/19 I've had the unfortunate circumstance to visit this funeral home twice in the last year…read morefor untimely deaths of friend's loved ones. I personally have never arranged a funeral with this group (or ever) but I wouldn't hesitate to do so when the time comes. Perhaps even before with pre-arrangements. Located in Trappe at the intersection Ridge and 113 it's conveniently located, they have a generous parking lot as well in the rear of the building. On each occasion I've been greeted with traffic police to help me into and out of the parking lot. Outside of the building there is a fish pond at the entrance. The interior is simple, soothing and elegant. All staff, in my experience, has been dignified, professional and pleasant to the guests. I plan to have my own final arrangements here.

Our funeral director, Dan Gregori, was amazing. Even though we had just met, Dan felt like a close family member and just seemed to always know the right words to say as we took each step along the way and on the painful days of her viewing and burial services. Burying a child is not something you plan for and we were overwhelmed initially, but when we found Dan and his team at Moore, Snear & Ruggiero, we immediately felt we had the right team to support our family in our darkest hours. We could not recommend Dan Gregori and his staff at Moore, Snear & Ruggiero more. Thank you for caring for our family!

I just made a purchase at this location. I put 10 percent…read moredown and was told they would put a charge on mt credit card in May of 2024. I get my credit card bill to see they charged my card in April and May. I called these folks up and told them about it. I was told somebody hit the wrong button. I suggested that we just forget about June payment. I just got a statement saying I owe them in June. These people are very shady. I would not give them your credit card information. Deal with cash or check. Victor E

My mother passed May 2023, and as of Dec 2023 her name had not been put up on the vault of the mausoleum. I would like to point out that she has an INSIDE vault. I waited until after the holidays to call about it. When I finally did I left a message, and it took a week to get a return call. I was apologized to profusely, saying it was an oversight, and be taken care of immediately. Ok, fine these things can happen. Then another month went by, and still nothing. Another phone call, and message left, no return call after almost 2 weeks. A third call was made, and I made it very clear in my message that I was not happy, and I wanted to talk to someone ASAP. I did receive a call the following day with more excuses. Again I expressed my displeasure very firmly, telling the person that what is being done was disrespectful to the deceased as well as the grieving families. I pointed out that after reading other reviews of similar situation I was now speaking for other families they've ignored, and disrespected. Needless to say they probably didn't want to talk to me again so it was handled. Almost a year after her passing! The sad part is it should not have to reach this point. It's one thing if plaques are being ordered, and taking time to come in from the manufacturer, that part is out of their hands. It's another to glue letters on a vault. When I sat down with them to plan my mom's funeral they made it a point that I needed to pay them that day, and repeated this request a couple times during that meeting until pulled out the checkbook. Even the funeral director sent me an invoice about a week afterwards. Which I felt was being respectful, giving me a little time to feel less overwhelmed. I would definitely suggest LGM drop the excuses, and work on the customer service, as well as compassion towards the families.
