Overall, it felt like a local game store that you would see in your neighborhood that sells cards off of shelves as well as various tabletop games, collectibles, and hobby supplies. If you are interested in shopping for Pokémon or Magic: The Gathering (or any Trading Card Game) there is ample opportunity to browse around and spend time in the store. Upon entering the store, we immediately headed to the Pokémon section. We found both of the Pokémon building sets we wanted in that area and there appeared to be many different options for us to choose from. All of the products were clearly displayed so we could easily see what each product included and how much it cost. When it came time to checkout, there was one small issue related to the price listed on the box being lower than the price reflected when rung through the cash register. The employee was cool about it though! Once the employee spoke to management, she gave me the better price which was the price listed on the box and credited my account with the correct amount. The staff at the store where I made this purchase was super friendly and helpful. Power 9 Games had a wide variety of products available to choose from. Even though there was the error with the cost of my purchase I would definitely go back to this store in the future as well as recommend it to anyone looking for anything related to their Pokémon collection.

It's the service. There is only one friendly person that works there but she is only one person. The guys, especially the chubby dude with long hair treat customers like they don't want them there. Their uncomfortable glares and snarky attitude speaks volumes. It's too bad because they have lots of tables and carry a decent selection of games. I've gone there about five times in the last 2 years and it's the same each time with the exception of the one time the young lady behind the counter was helpful and showed good customer service to my wife and I but sadly it was only the one time. Go elsewhere. Most of the other places in town are much friendlier and actually act like they want your money.

We needed two bags because my two boys were arguing over the one bag that had both their cubes and they didn't give us a hard time. They also solved one of the impossible cubes we didn't know how to solve for us! The staff there are speed cubers. My son enjoyed watching them change the cube so fast and it gave him something to strive for! The location was also clean and well kept. They had timers too for people to practice there and chairs to sit and cube. It seemed a little sketchy when we drove there but that's because it looks like a warehouse area where there are other similar warehouse stores. It's not a shopping mall or retail center. But felt safe to park our car outside the store. We hundred percent recommend this place and we will go back again.

Our friend suggested we try out R3 Hobby Arena because they had an awesome rock crawling area specifically designed for the axial 1/24 scale cars. WOW !! he wasn't kidding, they call it "the crawl space" and words and pictures don't do it justice! We had a blast! The whole place is very clean, even the restrooms! the people are very friendly and helpful especially for first timers like us. They provided plenty of places for us to charge our batteries and space to work on our crawlers. The best part was it was pay once and drive all day, no time limits. We took a break from crawling and went to check out the drifting area. It was very impressive and again everyone was very friendly, and again lots of space for working on cars and charging batteries. They even had an air compressor so you could blow off and clean your car if you needed to. While they are not a full on hobby store it looked like they did sell a few select parts and cars. They also offer monthly memberships and have competitions for drifting and crawling on a routine basis. So I guess we found our new place to crawl ! If you are a drifter or 1/24 scale crawler I highly recommend you check this place out!

If I spent a few minutes in "Shall We Play?... a Game" when Derrick (investor), Chris (employee), Lindsay (employee), Kathryn (employee), or Alex (employee) were the only one(s) there; I would have come out of it thinking well of the store like the other reviewers on this site. However, doing so would be like watching one minute of a movie then writing a review as if I had seen the entire movie. To put it simply, the owner, Matt, is the problem. His cruelty knows no bounds, he is incompetent beyond belief, and he has the worst temper I have ever seen in my life. I have witnessed him scream his head off at a friend of mine, my mom, myself, and all four of his employees over the smallest of things. For example, he yelled at my mom and me when my mom tried to make good use of the "buy 2 get a third of equal or lesser value for free" deal they were offering by picking a third item of equal value instead of the third item of lesser value Matt recommended. This isn't the only problematic incident I witnessed either. Despite all the rhetoric on their official website about being kid-friendly, they put several games with very scary box cover art on the lowest shelves. I witnessed an unfortunate toddler get terrified by Zombicide's gruesome box art depicting flesh-eating zombies, after which the employee who was there at the time said she "would definitely tell [Matt] to move the game to the highest shelf." For the next two months, however, the game remained on the same low shelf, right in every toddler's eye line. It is probably still there now. Another incident occurred when a game that was supposed to be labeled $24.95 was accidentally labeled $2.95, and Matt refused to sell it at the listed price even though U.S. law clearly states that if something is listed at a certain price, the business is legally required to sell it at that price (so he has no respect for the law either). Now, while those may seem like isolated incidents, there are also numerous ongoing, systemic problems every customer is guaranteed to encounter if he/she spends long enough at "Shall We Play?... a Game." For example, the entire ~shall we play a game now?~ part of "Shall We Play?... a Game" is (at best) a gimmick and (at worst) an absolute lie, because Matt always rushes through "teaching" customers how to play games to the point where customers don't learn how to play the games and don't find out whether the game is fun enough to purchase. Furthermore, if you ask Matt to let you play a game for more than a minute before deciding whether to purchase it, to teach you another game, or to clarify confusing rules of a game; he'll either get short with you or completely lose his temper. Lastly, while the store does only sell games, due to the store being smaller than the other game stores in Las Vegas, "Shall We Play?... a Game" only holds about as many games as the other game stores in Las Vegas. However, with the other game stores, you also get comics, action figures, etc. through which to browse. The other reviewers who said "Shall We Play?... a Game" has lots of games are probably only comparing it to department stores like Target and Wal-Mart without realizing that every game store has more games than department stores like Target and Wal-Mart. As far as prices between "Shall We Play?... a Game" and other game stores in Las Vegas go, I have compared approximately 20 games' prices and found that while the prices at "Shall We Play?... a Game" are usually the same as those of other game stores in Las Vegas, the prices at "Shall We Play?... a Game" are sometimes more expensive than those of other game stores in Las Vegas. More importantly, however, regarding prices, they charge a 15% restocking fee if you return a factory-sealed, never-used game you bought there. This is retail's equivalent of a kick in the balls. None of the other game stores in Las Vegas pull this ****. In fact, no other store I've ever been to in my life has pulled this ****. It is disgusting. The bottom line is that you always have a better option than "Shall We Play?... a Game." If you want to support local businesses run by decent people, you should go to other game stores in Las Vegas such as "Avatar Games." If you want to play board games with others, you should go to other game stores in Las Vegas such as "Avatar Games," "Empire Games," and "The Little Shop of Magic," all of which have far more tables, far more chairs, way more comfortable chairs, and much higher attendance on designated game nights. And if you want the best deals on games, you should cut out the middleman - "Shall We Play?... a Game" - entirely and buy the games directly from their online suppliers. The best game store in Nevada is back! Bigger, Better, and Faster. Besides all the stuff the old location had they now have tables to play on, more aisles, and a lot more space. The new store is just as clean an organized as before. If you are in to games this is a place you should check out no matter how far you have to travel. read more

He was incredibly knowledgeable about their huge game library and took the time to ask what kinds of games we already enjoy before recommending a few new ones. We love games like Settlers of Catan, Mysterium, Exploding Kittens, Pandemic, Horrified, and of course all the classics, so it was awesome getting recommendations from someone who clearly knows the hobby inside and out. One of the coolest things about Meepleville is that you can rent a table by the hour and choose from their massive catalog of board games to play. They also serve food, drinks, and snacks, which is something I haven't seen at many board game cafés and makes it easy to spend an entire afternoon or evening there. Unfortunately, we were on a tight schedule and had to leave before we could buy anything or stay for a game, but the experience was memorable enough that we'll definitely be making a return trip the next time we're in Las Vegas. Chad has done great work for me in the past, but unfortunately, today he informed me not to ever come into his store again. The reason being is that he charged me for an N64 mod that not only wasn't functioning, but he had broken as well. After finding someone that could perform the mod properly, I had to go back to Grand Line in order to ask for my money back. Chad had a pretty hard time admitting fault, due to his solder being what he called "perfect". Chad was also unclear how to properly connect the ribbon cable, so he decided to give it the best hot glue job that someone who wasn't willing to do more research than he deemed necessary to attempt to keep the ribbon in place. Chad had originally agreed to meet me half way with the repair. However, all I wanted was the original $100 that I gave him to do the mod. Which I asked for. He told me that wasn't going to happen, to which I replied that it's actually less than what he had originally agreed to pay. After that, I told him how much the repair was. His response was that I was being ripped off. He then also tried to place fault on me for giving him a broken system to mod. Which is double baffling. If the system had any issues, I would be more than willing to pay him to repair them. Furthermore, If anyone would know that there was something wrong with the system it should have been him. After I firmly stood my ground, he handed me $100 out of his wallet and told me to never come back. Which is a shame, Chad keeps a great stock of items that you normally don't see at other stores in town. And while I normally go to Ben Fong, from iFixRetro, for mods of this nature, after dealing with a very similar situation with a Sega Dreamcast that was given to "A Gamers Paradise" a few years back. I decided to go to Chad because he's local and has until this point been pleasant to chat with while also normally meeting deadlines for other projects I've brought to him. Thankfully I found someone that iFixRetro taught the craft to in @samtron5000 over ig. Not only did she finish the mod, but she also fixed what Chad broke while botching the install in the first place. If you're local and have anything that you're looking to get done hit her up over ig, if it's in her wheel house she'll get it done. For everyone else that's looking for a place to go hit up Ben Fong with @iFixRetro. He's saved me more than once for sure. Also, if you're looking for a good spot to hit in town that provides great customer service, check out Retro City Games. They have two locations in Vegas and treat customers very well. Give your business to people that do good business, y'all.
