First thing off the bat I was greeted by an awesome employee who was friendly and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions that I had and even gave some good recommendations based on what I was looking for. I came on a Sunday night and saw a group of people playing cards which gave a nice community vibe and was a green flag in my book. The interior of this store was well lit, super clean, everything was organized neatly, and prices were super fair. Didn't pull any crazy hits from my packs but that's just the name of the game. Will definitely be back to pick up some more cards in the future and grateful a card store with a knowledgeable and friendly employee exists in Vegas!

However, this was my last time shopping at The Awesome Card Shop. I bought 6 packs of 2018 Bowman Platinum fat packs totalling over $450. When I went to pick up the packs, I asked the cashier if they could throw in a box of top loaders and she said "Sorry, I can't do that." Shocked at her answer I replied "Really?! Even after spending $450+ on product? You guys usually do." She replied with the same response. I left the store feeling annoyed and unappreciated. You think a local card shop would have better business sense when it comes to customer retention. I guess it's just Legacy Card Shop from now on.

This is by far and away one of the best Card Shops I have ever been to! Their selection is wide and varied and displayed to perfection. There were two very huge selling points that prompted this review and the first is the two gentlemen behind the counter. I believe their names were Brandon and Tyler, my apologize if I get them wrong but they deserve so much credit. They made my experience quite memorable. I had so many questions and they patiently took the time to walk me through all of them. I went in and found a high end card I was looking for and they let me take my time looking at the card before making the splurge. I can't commend them enough for their great customer service. The second selling point? The AMAZING Prices. Every card that I was looking for was shockingly priced in the BEST way. There are far too many shops that take advantage of the market and sticker price things at egregious numbers, but not Redemption Cards. With the crazy boom the TCG Community has seen these past few years, to not come across a shop that is Price Gouging at double the market is incredible, which makes them one of the best shops out there in my opinion! There was a review I ready about the place on yelp and it was the one that convinced me to make the trip out here. The reviewer said they wanted to gatekeep Redemption Cards because of how amazing their service is, but that they had to share with everyone that is in the hobby about their store. I couldn't agree more! In a sea of shops just trying to make the most money they can, Redemption Cards is in it for the love the hobby and the community. So, to Brandon and Tyler and Redemption Cards, I thank you for being a truly amazing place for people to come to for all their card and hobby needs. I am extremely disappointed with my experience using Paradise Card Breaks for a Beckett grading…read moresubmission. I decided to submit my first grade ever because I've never done it before so I went with Paradise Card Breaks due to a post on their instagram saying they now do Beckett submissions. On 6/6/26, I paid approximately $175 for a Beckett Priority 5-Day Turnaround grading service. Before submitting my card, I was told that the card would be shipped to Beckett on Monday, 6/8/26. 6/13/26, after reaching out to them I received an email stating that the card was only being shipped out that day. Which not sure if that was accurate because that was the day the shipping label was created and was actually shipped on 6/15/26, almost 2 weeks after giving them my card. The explanation given was that this was their first Beckett submission, not sure if the submission process from Beckett is different from PSA which they have plenty of experience with. On top of that I was told that he had off days and nobody else could take care of the project. While I understand that businesses can encounter issues, and everyone deserves their off days but customers should not be paying premium prices for expedited services only to have those services delayed due to a company's lack of experience or internal processes. The entire reason I paid for a Priority 5-Day service was to receive faster turnaround times. Instead, the submission sat for nearly a week before even being sent to Beckett. What should have been a 5-day grading service turned into significantly more time than what I paid for. After experiencing this issue, I looked through other customer reviews and found numerous complaints describing similar problems involving delays, communication issues, and unmet expectations. Unfortunately, my experience appears to be consistent with those reviews. Throughout the entire process I had to reach out to them for any updates through email with a response to wait up to 48 hours for them to respond. On 7/1/2026 I sent another email for an update with no response. On 7/3/2026 I called them for an update and they told me my card will be there on Monday as well as just telling me my grade without asking, was hoping for the surprise but oh well. 7/6/2026. Monday I received an email in the afternoon and went the following day to pick up my card. Based on the delay, lack of follow-through, and failure to meet the promised submission timeline, I cannot recommend Paradise Card Breaks to other collectors at this time.

They're always friendly, welcoming, remember their regulars, and truly make you feel like part of the community. Customer service here is second to none. The selection is excellent, from new releases and back issues to graphic novels, collectibles, and statues, all at very fair prices. My son has a pull list here, and they always let him know when his books arrive or when there are great deals or promotions. The store has an awesome vibe with great music, a clean layout, and even a retro gaming area in the back where you're encouraged to hang out and play. Snacks and drinks are only $1, which is a nice touch. Their apparel is also fantastic, with unique designs inspired by comics, Vegas sports, and pop culture that you won't find just anywhere. Great hours, great prices, incredible people, and a store that truly cares about its customers. Maximum Comics has earned our business for years to come. Highly recommended!

Upon entering the new store, I immediately noticed the vast amount of space within. The entire store felt well organized, allowing you to easily browse their many items including comic books, graphic novels, collectibles, and action figures. While interacting with the employees at the new Centennial Hills store, I found them to be extremely friendly and willing to assist with any questions I may have asked! They were offering free comics on the day we stopped by and ended up getting a Sonic, Spidey, Avengers, and Lego Batman comic! The store had an extensive amount of inventory! Each time I believed I had viewed every item available, I discovered an additional shelf, display, or section to view. Whether you are a serious collector or just interested in learning more about comics, there will likely be some type of product that interests you at MaximuM comics! The new Centennial Hills store is a fantastic addition to the area. It recently moved from the Walmart shopping area, now over to Tenaya next to Starbucks and a few local restaurants. It is clean and is very well stocked. Be prepared to spend a considerable amount of time there, even if you only intend on taking a quick peek!
