This store seems like customers are inconveniencing the staff. Rubi was very UNHELPFUL! She didn't try to resolve my issue for a replacement device due to it being defective and instead stated "we are incredibly busy so I can't call customer service" AS IF IM NOT A CUSTOMER. To top it off, there was ONLY 1 person waiting in line behind me at that time! I have a replacement device WITH warranty due to the first one being damaged upon delivery and Rubi didn't want to help find the warranty due to a "customer service error". Went into this Gamestop located on Nellis Air Force Base -- did not know there was one on base -- since I needed one more Xmas gift for the young man. Best part was that there is no tax on base!! I also got a car charger pack for the young man and the staff was very helpful as well as knowledgeable about what I wanted. If you are able to shop on base, this location has fast service, polite and friendly staff members and did I mention, NO tax? I was in and out of there within minutes! I'm writing this from the sidewalk in front of the store. To be fair, customer service happens when the customer gets actual service. I got none at all. Even when I was the only one in the store. I was looking to get some recommendations on a PS vs Xbox. That timeless debate was going to push my decision tonight. Not a word. No help when I was in front of the Nintendo Switch display. Customer service was ok, if you stood in line and waited to be helped. I mention this because everyone was standing in line even for general questions because at this store, I can only assume that management requires the staff to stay behind the register, as opposed to wandering the floor because when I was there, that seemed to be their MO. I eventually walked out without buying anything because after the first time I waited in line (short wait), the store got much busier and I wasn't going to wait in line a second time. I wasn't the only customers this location lost that night - when I was outside, two families were discussing their plans to just go to another store because they couldn't get helped. Ill start by saying i completely understand the time that passed so no need to revisit that. I purchased GOWR back in July with another game for my newly purchased PS5. I usually purchase more than one game at a time and play it when im done with the first. I ended up not needing the actual disc because i had already purchased it for my sons ps4 and so again i never looked at the game. I finally remembered i didnt need the disc and decided to trade it in and to my surprise there was no disc in the case. I know i should have checked but ive never had this issue. I called the store to see if there was anyway to know inventory. I explained the situation and CJ and Dylan were very helpful and stated if i can find the receipt, bring it in and they can refund me because i never received the disc. I told them i dont want a refund i just wanted to exchange even if at current value. They asked if i remembered who sold it and i said no. They said the manager, Josh would be the one to help with this. I found the receipt and low and behold Josh is who sold it to me. I go in the next day thinking wow this was really smooth. Only for the young lady to call Josh and he immediately says theres nothing he can do. So essentially they sold me the case for $57 and was able to sell the actual disc to someone else. I know it's extenuating circumstances with the time but no store credit, nothing? I purchased an empty GOW case for $57 if anyone wants one. Crazy thing is the workers are who puts the games in the cases. Either way i feel like Josh could have at least tried, seeing that hes the one who didnt put the game in the case in the first place. I purchased 2 controllers and signed up for pro that day. What a mistake. And trust me it's no scheme i was prepared to come out of pocket for the difference in price for the trade and the new game. Ill have to buy Mirage new from another store. Not paying additional money to a store who sold me a case for $57. read more

Another issue at this game stop trying to say that they let customers know that they're opening at 8 AM which they did not nor is it posted and when I ask them how they notified their customers they said that you had to ask about it and follow them on Instagram and then said Xbox notified customers that they're opening at eight which is a complete lie. This store surprises me every time I am with my son on how knowledgeable and friendly the staff is! I love when they come out to the walls and interact with my 6 year old son and talk about mine craft and fortnite. I can tell he feels so cool when they do ! The staff at this location or pricing makes me wanna drive a little further due to knowing that the SM trains and hires the perfect talent for this industry. They know their stuff ! I believe the sale clerk name is Deandre who always helps us and the new SM from Cali is just phenomenal! Keep up the good work guys ! I've been coming here for about 5 years, I've seen the store managers come n go, some of the crew come n go. Some have stayed the whole time. And those that have definitely treat me great. Okay so I've been coming to this Gamestop since it opened and I've only ever had one bad experience. There was this one girl they hired (later fired for this) that was just a total jerk and wouldn't let you really buy anything. You pretty much had to prove you were a citizen to get her to sell anything to you. Anyhow that was a while ago. I've been coming here for about 5 years and I've always had nothing but fantastic experiences and made tons of friends here. The cashiers are wonderful and really helpful and they really take care of their regulars. I mean they really really take care of their regulars. One of the employees actually specially ordered a super rare limited edition and actually contacted headquarters to see if he could get it for me. He went out of his way to get me a rare edition of a game that was sold out in like 40 states. I mean he worked really hard to get this game. This store has been so nice to me and terrific and I can't rave about it enough. I will say this the store is small in fact it doesn't have a lot of the games that other stores may have especially if you're looking for a really old game. The store also doesn't carry much in the way of toys but they are getting more and more every month. In fact 6 months ago they didn't sell t-shirts and now they have a nice little rack of t-shirts. They also have a few pop figures, some collectibles, and some other gamer assorted gear. I am a bit biased because I've grown up with this store, the store opened when I was like 13 and I'm now 20. I am a bit biased but I love this store and customer service is great. I will say this customer service is busy during the holidays especially Black Friday and Christmas. I don't go during Black Friday because it is literally hell in there and they usually only have like 3 people working the register. Christmas is even worse because everybody either A is trying to buy a gift 1 day before Christmas because ya'll were too lazy to do it earlier or B it's after Christmas and everybody is spending their gift card money.
