I was quite hesitant to trust another shaman or energy worker after working with a different energy worker/reiki practitioner in Houston who literally put demons inside me and gave me jaw pain/injury which lasted for 6 months, but I'm very glad I decided to give this type of healing another try. Samadhi is a light worker, a natural at that so I think that makes her more legitimate, and my visit to the shamanic wellbess hideaway was the complete opposite of my previous experience. Samadhi and her partner, an artisan who intiitively makes beautiful jewelry which helps us align with our soul's true purpose, are part of an indigienous group who honor and respect Jesus Christ, which made me a lot more comfortable with trusting them. I'm not sure how much the artisan heard about me, and we never met in person, but she made me a gorgeous necklace which I resonated with immediately. I felt like the holy spirit had left me during the reiki session in Houston, and I was planning on having another baptism to invite him back into me. I didn't tell Samadi this during our session, and the jewelry maker put a gorgeous white dove pendant in the middle of the necklace, surrounded my many gems. The necklace came with a paper explaining the meaning for choosing each gem, each of which aligned with the new path I have currently taken in life. At Shamic Wellness Hideaway, I had an energy retrieval (which some other shamans call a soul retrieval) and a massage session. The energy retrieval put me in touch with my power animals and also I had a few visions during it, one of which was my spirit guide. The color purple had been becoming a prominent sumbol in my life in the weeks prior to the energy retrieval, and one if the visions I had was of a heavy Hispanic man wearing an elaborate purple piet's shirt, a suit jacket, and jeans. He was standing outside the door of my family's house, where I had been living for 3 years. He was looking at me but not entering the house. I felt like he was trying to draw me out, because I had been living in a very unhealthy situation without realizing it. I finally got the message, and once I started going on a different path, a lot of my emotional numbness lifted and I was able to see my past a lot more clearly. The massage with Samadhi was hands down the best massage I've ever had in my life. It was intense and fast, and it felt amazing. The sports massages I've had previoysly don't compare. Samadhi also taught me some physical poses to help me maintain healthy energy in the future. She also helped me rewrite my story by using pictures and telling the story in the third person. This is more beneficial than telling my story directly, which might have retraumatized me instead of helping me unwind. I love stories and artwork, so this was right up my alley. Overall, I feel this is the best and most trustworthy shamanic practitioner I have ever been to and I would highly recommend her as well as her partner, who made my necklace. read more

Somewhere between a massage, a nervous system reset, and a spiritual experience- depending on what you need. I have had zero experience with anything outside of Swedish or Thai massage and I can say that Shamanic wellness is in a class of its own. If what you are looking for is a boujie spa experience (nothing wrong with that), this isn't it. If you're looking for a traditional massage that follow a rehearsed, symmetric pattern, this isn't it. We had a brief phone call prior to the first session where she communicated her therapy style/approach and laid an idea of what to expect. The physical massage technique seems guided by some energy source Samadhi is tapped into and is unique each time you walk in. Her skill set is broad, incorporating Native American, Chinese, sound healing/drums, and yoga practices (and probably more that I don't know about). I can't speak to all of them yet but just worth mentioning. I seem to be able to get out of my head while I'm in her space. I go about every 6-8 weeks depending on life and the physical and emotional stressors. I pay for multiple sessions in advance for the cost savings which alleviates some of the financial stress.
