That late evening my right eye started to become very sore, red, itchy. I texted the business and they said sometimes people are sensitive/and or allergic to the glue adhesive and to try a cold compress and try some allergy medicine. I tried both and my one right eye continued to decline and get worse! My eye began to swell significantly more in just an hour, so I decided to go to an Urgent Care the next morning. The doctor said I had pink eye and gave me eye drops to use. I texted the business to let them know of the situation and that I got pink eye from unsanitary conditions. The business re-assured me that they sanitize their tools and have disposable ones and that they are required to wash hands before each client and that the technicians don't touch the eye, even though she touched around and on my eyelid throughout the appointment. All I wanted was a refund for the headache that I went through and the dissatisfaction for the service that costs a lot of money. They said in order to get a refund that I needed to go there and have them taken off. I told them that I didn't want to take the lashes off because my eye isn't infected from the lashes or the glue, it was from poor sanitation. I also didn't have time to go somewhere else to get them done again before I leave out of town, nor would anyone touch my eyes knowing I have pink eye. I was beyond frustrated at this point and eventually after several texts going back and forth, I got my refund. I will not recommend anyone to this business. Anyone in their right mind would give the money back because it was on their part that this happened and to still insist on the glue causing my pink eye.

So I had my eyebrows tattooed about 3 years ago, the typical tattooing leaving me with the sharpie like brow. & I really liked them since it was better than eyebrows that sweat powder (cuz I had to draw them on everyday). Fast forward to a week ago when I decided to try micro-blade tattoos & again fast forward to today as I was lucky enough that Alicia had a cancellation to squeeze me in. She was not only personable & a pleasure to talk to she really is a cosmetic genius. While the procedure itself is a bit uncomfortable (my mother always said beauty is pain) it wasn't actually painful. It took about an hour & was worth both time & money cuz I now have what appear to be actual eyebrows. You wouldn't know they were tattooed if I didn't tell you. Alicia did a fantastic job & I will definitely continue coming back. Only bummer is she is so crazy booked with customers, but I think that also says a lot about the quality of work. Cheryl was a joy. She does lashes part time on the side of her full-time day job. She turned one of her rooms into her little salon and it was very enjoyable. Her table had a great bolster for under my knees which kept my lower back nice and comfy. Neck pillow as well. Great tunes in the background.. I got along very well with her. The hour and a half for my full set went by in a breeze. Because she doesn't have the huge overhead of a salon at a rented space she's able to pass that savings on to her clients. $100 for a full set, $40 for a fill. If you've ever looked around This is quite the deal, And they look great. I go back in two weeks for my fill and I'll be on a regular rotation as we go.. Thank you so much Cheryl for squeezing me in. I was also especially impressed with how Jennifer handled a woman that came in while I was there for my eyebrows. The woman came in yelling about not being happy with her eyebrows and Jennifer remained calm explained that she has tried to make things right with her including touch ups but the woman was still not happy. Jennifer then tried to hand her money offing her a partial refund but the woman screamed she didn't want charity and refused the money. I don't know that anything could have made her happy. I did see her eyebrows and honestly didn't understand why she was upset but Jennifer remained calm and continued to try and make things right. After the woman finally left. Jennifer composed herself and made sure I was ok and apologized for the disruption to my appointment. I don't think she could have handled it any better.
