My wife took our 13 year old toy poodle here and he came back a mess. Refer to pictures(first 2 are his baseline, then how we received him). His hair wasn't cut right and worst of all he was bruised up. My wife reluctantly paid and upon seeing him after work, I went there the next day myself. I'm a professional, so when I walked in I asked the lady in front (now who I know is likely the owner, I think her name is Stephanie) and stated that I'd like to speak to 2 people: first, whoever cut his hair, and two, whoever is in charge. Her response: "Ok. Talk." Realizing she's never had customer service training, I asked which of the two people she was then. She said she was "in charge" so I asked to speak to whoever cut his hair first. Out comes the groomer and I asked how his hair cut went yesterday. She states that he did well, that he was obedient and that he had no issues. I inquire about his huge bruise and she states: "oh no that's his skin." I explain to her that no, it's a bruise. He's a lap 7.8lb lapdog and after 13 years, I know his little moles etc but this is 100% a bruise. She suggests I "go to the vet if I want a second opinion." I didn't know her opinion counted as 1st, and what I'd really like to know who she thought was going to pay that visit. I inquire why half the hair on his head is long vs the other. Now her and the "manager" state that they have clear policies about not being rough with uncooperative dogs to achieve a perfect cut. My counterargument is he's 13: he's easily been groomed more than 100 times and never has he comes out looking this disheveled. Their response: "oh well maybe those places were a lot rougher!" I was stupefied: "yet he's never come home bruised this way!" The conversation then turned into them telling me a puppy cut doesn't exist, which again he's been groomed 100+ times in multiple states and even countries and while I understand there may be slight differences, everyone knows what I mean. Apparently not here. Then they keep telling me go to a vet for a second opinion. Seeing this was going nowhere, I asked if I could speak to the manager separately. I was very clear: given what has happened here, what I think is fair is a refund and an apology. She she begrudgingly gave me the refund and no apology was ever uttered. I feel responsible for my dog's suffering. The bruise to me looks like a pinch. His nails were too short and he licked them for 3 days uncomfortably. He didn't eat for 2 days and shook constantly. I really wish his usual groomer hadn't been on vacation. I wish I had just waited. I recommend you look elsewhere, for your little one's sake. This business is totally unprofessional.

Willy was very patient and attentive to our dogs needs. He took all the time needed in order to remove the knots from his curly coat and did everything he could to make our little guy Bodie feel safe and comfortable throughout the process. We had such a good experience that we will continue using Willy's service after we move out to Essex County this summer. I completely recommend this grooming service without reservation.

On the day of our appointment Miranda arrived early and let me know when she was ready. She was friendly and very sweet with our dog Tuesday. She did a wonderful job on the grooming, the cut was good and she smelled so good! Tuesday was very happy when I came to get her and that's important, she's a senior dog and she gets nervous and anxious in situations with new people and a lot of dogs. Stephanie took careful steps to build a relationship and had so much patience to make sure Illay was comfortable around the team first before sharing walks with other dogs. Now, Illay has real friends in the neighborhood! Shes recognized the dogs she shared a walk with if we ran into them, and was able to react friendly. Illay is so excited for her mid-day walks with Stephanie. She has so much more confidence in her strut. She can walk with and enjoy the company of other dogs. Each walk, Stephanie gives us a full write-up (including photos) of how the walk went and how many times Illay relieved herself. Being an adopted puppy (with high prey drive), we have really struggled with finding the best tool that works for her. Adam has been through multiple walking tools with us and is always very willing to give us honest feedback. Ruthie is a difficult puppy to walk and I am always less stressed knowing she is getting breaks throughout the day with Adam. He also takes really fun pics and sends updates! My husband and I always call him Ruthie's third parent. We've been extremely lucky with being able to trust and rely on Adam. Ruthie adores him and he is extremely patient with her. From the very start, she was so open, responsive and so organized- she quickly sent me a response after I reached out to her on her website, asking me about Flopsy, what I would need to provide for his stay with her (pellets, hay, toys... she provides litter box/food bowls/fresh veggies so super helpful,) and also asked for details about how his litterbox/area was set up in our house so she could mimic it so he would be more comfortable. Stella blew me away with her deep knowledge/experience with bunnies, and I knew Flopsy would be in good hands. During Flopsy's stay with her, she provided regular updates with pictures and videos about his antics/eating habits, etc- she even shared the unfolding drama taking place at the HamsterLodge where Flopsy fell in love with his fellow lodger! (It was just a vacation fling..) Of course, Stella took a lot of care to keep Flopsy and his first girlfriend separate (with no contact of course- else I would've ended up with some grandbunnies) I can't stress enough how nice it was to know that Flopsy was getting pampered during his stay.
