I was looking a daycare/boarding option with both indoor and outdoor and not getting too messy in bad weather. I heard about VIPuppy through a neighbor and while I was on a waitlist for a couple months, it was well worth it. My dog loves this place, she runs for the door every time we arrive and comes home tired! They post pictures on instagram everyday so you can see the pups having a great time. I do wish that had a puppy cam, but the pictures are helpful. I've boarded her here for almost a week, and she had a blast. I'm not even sure she missed me! Staff is friendly. So I want to begin by saying that I have an anxious dog. A very, very anxious dog. Sadie is a rescue who went through some things when she was a puppy. She barked all the time. Strangers terrified her. She would hide behind me when we went into any new setting. She ran from other dogs who came too close. So I was very apprehensive about sending her to any sort of boarding or daycare. But I'm a teacher, and so I work long hours and, needed to send her somewhere clean and nice for the day so she could be looked after. I couldn't be happier with my choice of VIPuppy. The location is clean and well managed. The dogs are seperated by size for outdoor play. And I was incredibly happy when I found out, after her first day there, that she'd gotten very anxious around the dogs, and so the staff had brought her into the office with them where she could take a break. So we kept sending her there, confident that the staff was taking great care of Sadie. Over time, something I began to notice is that the more Sadie went, the more she began to change. She didn't bark as much. She didn't hide behind me as often. She began saying hello to other dogs in the street. She even let strangers in our house pet her. We've been sending her there for a few months now, and Sadie is a changed dog. She's still anxious, and still approaches a lot of new situations carefully and with trepidation, but she's opening up. Seeing her wag her tail when the staff come out is a total game changer. Cannot give this place a high enough rating. (also, they have an instagram where they post picture of the dogs every day. Sadie had always been very camera shy, but over time, as she got bolder, she began to pop up on their feed. a nice surprise at work to check the page and see your pup looking happy!) read more

The Spa is really nice. Lots of areas for the dogs to play. My boy is new to daycare and socializing. He had a somewhat traumatic first experience AT A DIFFERENT PLACE. I explained to the staff how that went and they have been SO accommodating with reintroducing him to the daycare experience in a gentle way. I really think this is going to be a happy place for him. VIPuppy Spa is really a special place and for almost three years it has been the second home for our dog, Henney. Henney genuinely loved this place and the staff there. He would start barking excitedly whenever I asked him if he wanted to go to daycare, and then in the car on the way to VIPuppy Spa he would start barking uncontrollably whenever he realized that we were arriving soon. Whenever I put him down in the lobby, he always darted from my arms and ran towards the door for the back play area without looking back. This was our weekday routine. The staff there is very friendly and enjoys being with the dogs. They also know each dog well and will setup play groups based on compatibility. I can't say enough good things. Our family is moving to Boston and we are very sad to separate Henney from VIPuppy Spa. Whenever we are in town we will definitely bring Henney by to see his friends there. Horrible, horrible experience with this groomer! They were rude and unprofessional. I dropped-off our 8 month old labradoodle puppy at 7:30AM for his appointment and called around noon to check-in and to get a sense for pick-up time. I was abruptly told that there was "no way they could estimate a time for pick-up." They said it would be "very late" because he needed "a ton of work" (even though I brush him every day and bathe him every two weeks). So I asked what time they closed, still trying to get a sense for worst-case scenario pick-up time, and was told that they may have to keep him after hours -- but still couldn't estimate how long after hours. None of this felt right to me, so I went in and took back my dog. We drove straight over to another professional groomer, where I was told that my dog's coat was in EXCELLENT condition. I still do not know why they would be so horrible. ****UPDATE on 2/4 based on owner's response below: This is not a false post. My appointment was on 11/19/15. I did not post my review until January because I was too upset to do so. And the "competitor" I reviewed favorably was Animal Kingdom South, who made special accommodations to take us in that very same day (b/c we really wanted our dog's hair trimmed before going away for the Thanksgiving break.) read more

My dog, a 13.5 year old Wheaten Terrier, was a mess! Due some medical issues he went ungroomed for about six months (he normally is clipped once a month). He was heavily matted and very dirty. The staff at VIPuppy did a marvelous job! He was trimmed close to remove all mats and they shaped his face to look like his old self. He smelled great! LOL they listened to my concerns and were patient with my senior dog. They texted me during the process to let me know he was okay. He wasn't stressed or exhausted after the service as he sometimes is. I will bring him back in a month or so when he's grown out. His coat will be in great shape for winter! In the past I've had a very hard time finding a groomer that could cut my dog's nails. It was close to impossible to be honest. So when I brought Chewie to VIPuppy Spa I was expecting them to take a long time and complain that he didn't let them cut his nails. Well it was the exact opposite... we dropped him off at 1:18pm and he was ready to be picked up at 1:26pm (I double checked lol.) His nails were trimmed and he was in a great mood (he usually comes back from groomers really sleepy and groggy) I was in shock. They did a WONDERFUL job and were so kind. Allie, the receptionist that took Chewie, was helpful and sweet. Overall, I am very pleased with this service. I would 10/10 recommend. I can't say enough great things about VIP Puppy spa. I have been bringing my puppy, now grown dog for over a year for day care, boarding and grooming. Rudy is incredibly happy here, and loves the attentive and loving staff. Gabriel and Claudia the owners are true dog lovers and saved me from giving up an energetic puppy! They know your dog, who their best friends are and their preferences. They are honest and informative, and disclose to you what happened, which I think you don't get at other places. The outdoor space provides a great place for the dogs to get out their energy, and the staff works to engage the dogs in play. It is also very considerate of them to give them rest time and is attentive to each dog's personality and preference. You should at least try the trial day, and see how satisfied your dog is at the end of the day. The groomer also does an amazing job. Rudy's coat is super shiny, well brushed and his nails and teeth are perfectly polished. They also provide a stylish bandana after each grooming service, and also keeps them separate from other dogs before your pick up. I tried several other groomers and think this place really knows how to groom a dog. I secretly think my dog prefers to be here than alone at home. He waits at the door every morning, hoping to come to "school"/ VIP Puppy spa to play with his friends. It is well worth the money to bring your dog here for day care and for grooming. I recently rescued a dog. I started taking her to Vipuppyspa for grooming and day care. I was happy with her first grooming session. She came home really clean and shiny. Then I started using the day care services. It makes my life so much easier! I don't have to stress out about how many hours she's spending home alone. She comes home tired and usually falls asleep in the car. But how do I know that she loves that place? She can't wait to get out of the car when we arrive at the parking lot and speeds up to the door with a tail wagging like I only see when we are there. For a "new mom" that's the best possible thing. I have a 6 moth old cavapoo, small dog. Today was his second time there and I can't began to tell you how happy my puppy is. He is a hi energy and hi drive when it comes to people and dogs. He has a wonderful dog walker that loves him but I always feel that just a dog walker is not enough for him. I picked vip because I heard good things about the place the place and I when I drive by the place I always see dogs happily playing outside. The front desk is very helpful answering questions, my dog comes out at the end of the stay very happy and actually wants to go back. We have a one year old Golden Retriever and while working from home during peak COVID, our dog became a bit used to our daily three mile walks. Please do not go by the reviews to make your decision on using this facility. Go in person. Stop in for a tour unannounced. That's what I did and left completely heart broken. My dog has never stepped a paw inside, and never will after what I saw. After you enter the front office (which seems clean and calm) - the first door on the right had cages filled with dogs. This was worse then the animal shelters I've been too! The floor was wet with puddles, there were no lights on, dogs crying, and the smell of feces was unbearable. I couldn't even walk in without my shoes being covered in (not sure what the liquid was all over the floor). The cries of the dogs was very upsetting and the conditions were horrible!
