My furbaby's regular groomer has been out of commission for a couple of months now...something about electrical issues so they're completely shut down. I'm super-nervous about leaving my baby with just anyone. I've heard horror stories about many places and besides, my baby is just plain nervous about going anywhere, let alone the groomers. I called this place to schedule an appointment. I sent over my dog's rabies paperwork by conveniently texting the docs to a phone number. I had forgotten to do this when I scheduled the appointment but they still took it the day of. I pulled up to Pawsitively Purrfect, very easy to get to and located on Morris Ave which is a main street in Union. Parking wasn't bad. I parked on the side street and walked right around the corner. When I brought Kelani up to the door it was locked but Adelis came to open it up and greeted me in such a friendly way. Now I expected for her to just grab my fur baby and go inside but nope, she actually stood outside on the sidewalk and allowed Kelani to sniff her and get used to her. Then once Kelani was comfortable, Adelis reached down and petted her and talked to her. Then she picked up my baby and went inside. I came to pick up Kelani a couple of hours later and she looked so cute. She smelled fresh and had a pink bow in her hair but the best part was that Adelis had trimmed the hair under her chin so meticulously and perfectly. My regular groomer doesn't even do a job that good. I paid $84 on my card and tipped her. She so deserved it. I'm so pleased with this place. I've already scheduled Kelani's appointment for next time. Highly recommend. read more

Please don't take your dog to this place for grooming. I was charged $ 70 dollars. To groom my sons Bichon Frizz I dropped my dog off around 3 pm. I was called 3 hours later to pick him up. I took him home and my wife picked him up and noticed that he had tears around his eyes he was very poorly groomed and his nails where not even cut or filed The place is dirty and very poorly equiped. If you love your dog. Don't even think of this place. read more

She did such an amazing job with my two Shepard mixes. Both of my dogs are friendly but one is whiney and one is shy at first. She was patient, kind and very loving towards them. She gave them a look-over to assess what they needed and provided her input which was very helpful and added even more value. When I came to pick them up they were both happy, giving her kisses and weren't the least bit stressed so you can tell she was sweet with them the entire time she had them. They also smell, look and feel great. We will be going there every year now for their yearly spa treatments. Can not recommend this place enough!! read more

I cannot thank pawsitively purrfect enough!!!! My Mickey looks like a brand new kitten. At first I was worried that he would be scared, but he definitely warmed up and the groomer took such good care of him!!! I took him home and he was so relaxed that he fell right to sleep on my lap, Lol. 100% recommend them to anyone who is looking for a nice place to get their pet groomed and will definitely return for future grooming. Took my Belgian Shepherd/Border Collie mix for a bath and haircut. He does not like getting his nails trimmed and every time I would cut my husband's hair with the clippers, our dog would bark. Point is, he is not an easy dog to wrangle. Adelis was wonderful, was able to cut his fur beautifully, trim his nails, etc. Pricing is fair, the appointment is one on one which is amazing if you have an anxious pet. Adelis is one of the kindest souls on the planet. Her loving nature towards animals is evident in her warm personality. My pets are treated like they are part of her family and I always look forward to bringing them here. My beagle and border collie always feel at home here. I will not take my babies anywhere else. What a great place! My husband called to make an appointment for our pug at the last minute, and even though they were booked they still found time to groom our dog. The owner took such great care of our pug and before even grooming her, took the time to play and pet her to make her feel more comfortable! Not only did they do an amazing job, but my dog was in and out within an hour. The place we usually bring our pug will keep her there all day which is stressful on her. So glad we found Pawsitively Purrfect! We will be back again! read more

Took my female Maltese on a Thursday. Called the owner on Monday to let her know that her cut on her face was uneven. At first was not going to call and just fix it myself but when I took her to the vet on Saturday, the vet asked me who cut her hair because it was horrible. Considering that I paid $70 for my 7 lb. Maltese, I figured why not call her so she can fix my dog. Monday she tells me she is booked all week but for me to call her back. Call her on Friday for her to tell me that shes not available and to call tomorrow, which is Saturday, the day I am writing this review. She proceeds to tell me she's busy and she can only do it before she closes which would be around 6, but she wasn't sure, so I asked about Monday, in which she tells me she is busy as well. So now frustrated because it's over 10 days I tell her that I do not understand why she just doesn't allow me to bring her in so she can fix her. She's not getting a full groom all she had to do was fix the cut that she did a terrible job to begin with. Needless to say I will never bring my dogs backs again. I was willing to give her a fair chance but 10 days of her being busy to fix a bad situation is unacceptable. To top it all off she got extremely nasty on the phone. Who would not want to rectify this situation especially when it is your business name written all over my dog's uneven face. Would you risk one more day of people seeing a bad job? read more
