The lobby, and I am assuming the rest of the hotel, were redone and upscale, and the space a far cry from the deliciously divey Shelborne on the early 2000s where I would go to the karaoke basement bar. No the space is airy and with lots of wood paneling. So back to my burger, I asked for a medium well with sauce on the side. The bun was fluffy, and with a slice of American cheese melted over a patty that was juicy even though it was medium well as requested. They did serve the sauce on the side of the fries; despite me not being a fan of cream based sauces their combination of Tabasco, ketchup, and mayonnaise was actually really good. As far as sips, I asked the bartender to let me sample their orange wine as shown in the menu. Although I did not like the taste, I did appreciate them letting me get a sample while I stay with my usual red wine.

From the moment we arrived with check-in, getting our bags to our room, we were treated like true VIPs. Once we got to the room, we had time to change and head to the pool. The evenings were great as we were able to sit out on the balcony and relax, while at the same time being in the lobby or hitting the restaurant was always great. We took advantage of the on-site yoga classes and the beach every day while we were there. The beach area was nice, in the servers supporting the beach I felt did their best to accommodate all of the guests outside. If you're a frequent AMEX user, I would definitely recommend going through your AMEX as it really did just make a difference. The grounds were well kept the pool was clean. The staff was friendly and most importantly, we had an overall great experience. I would definitely recommend it for anybody coming to South Beach to come here, as it's centrally located and it's easily accessible to lots of other activities you may want to consider.

There is a minimum spend requirement for the cabana, but it was super easy to hit between food and drinks. And considering you're paying for a dedicated space, service, and a prime poolside setup, it felt worth it. Overall, it was the perfect day to unwind and feel a little luxe. They have complimentary bikes you can sign out for two hours at a time. We took advantage of this and went biking along the bike path down to South Beach. This was one of our favorite amenities! There is also a rooftop pool & bar. They offer the use of beach chairs & towels for free, and an umbrella, for a fee. It has excellent elevated views of the Miami skyline to the east and the Miami River, boats, and the W Flagler St Drawbridge (historical landmark, built in 1938) to the west. I believe the penthouse is located on the 10th floor of a relatively new building. 2. The venue is modern and versatile. The inside spaces (including restrooms) had a clean, updated look. For this event, there were multiple bars and food stations set up both indoors and outdoors. The dance floor was outside. The combination of string lights, rooftop patio decor, and the city skyline was beautiful. There was only one elevator to get everyone up and down, so there was a bottleneck there. They brought in a fire dancer to perform outside on the rooftop, which was really cool.
