What stood out to me was that they had LLBO dine-in and offered takeout. Their phone number was prominent as well. Inside looked just as dated, with plenty of seats but overall dim lighting. The red seats did not even stand out. We decided to dine in. The menu indicated that a 13% tip would be added automatically for dine-ins. It certainly had a lot to offer, with menu item numbers going above 230. Here's what I tried: #01 Chicken Pakora: A great choice on our part, 10 large pieces of breaded chicken were served with a lemon wedge and chilli mayo. They were red, which I found striking. I enjoyed the taste of mildly spicy chicken. The sauce was okay, but I mostly enjoyed the chicken without it. #22 Hot and Sour Soup with Seafood: I wasn't a big fan of this famous Chinese appetizer. It had all the right ingredients, but it was a bit too sour for my taste. #75 Manchurian Beef with Gravy: I loved this dish. The spicy beef strips were tender and juicy. The sauce was hot and savoury, and it went well with steamed rice that we ordered. #169 Chicken Ho-Fun: Another great choice, this rice-noodle stir fry dish was mild and had many tender chicken strips to fill me up. There was only one person serving, but there was no one else dining, so her checking in on us every now and then was more than good enough for us in terms of service. The table and some eating utensils were sticky, showing age. Disposable chopsticks were available upon request, which was nice. The washroom was serviceable but not clean. Despite some of the flaws I found in the restaurant, their dishes tasted good. I was surprised to see how affordable the food was. Given this, I would recommend getting takeout from this restaurant for its great value. I might actually return to try some of their other dishes to go.

Sam had the green curry with chicken and ordered rice on the side. The rice was definitely needed as it added more texture to the extremely smooth and creamy soup. There was a nice amount of chicken and veggies, too. The Thai milk tea was made to perfection here. Not too sweet, beautiful color, incredible and addictive flavor. We were excited for this second visit as we were impressed with the strong flavors. The wide ranging menu takes inspiration from all over China starting from the restaurant roots in Cantonese cuisine. We started our meal with tender Stir Fried Angus Beef with Garlic that was both aromatic and tender, along with pleasantly glazed potato. We were most looking forward to the 2.5 lb Lobster, in HK Typhoon Shelter flavor here that was uniquely seasoned with chilli pepper and minced pork. It was an explosion of good flavor although twin lobsters were smaller than one larger lobster we tried before. We finished the meal with abalone sizzling pot with tofu and vegetables. Menu prices here are fairly reasonable and they did honour HST discount when we visited during the HST holiday though there are no other cash discounts. The atmosphere and service aren't super high-end but at this price point, I'm searching for tasty food is all!

You might be better off to opt for the take-out option. The place was created for the demands of modern times (pandemic, takeaway, food delivery etc.) The key to the success of this place is their selection of restaurants. They offer food from excellent suppliers, with a large variety of options. Their online ordering is super easy. It is well organized, and inlaces a kids section. On location they have a friendly staff ready to help with placing the order (and even a robot rover!). They also have a fridge with nice beverages and a selection of cake slices from the Cheesecake Factory, and also gelato. Another bonus of this place is that prices are quite reasonable.
