Stopped in for a quick drink with friends before heading back home so I wasn't expecting much. We ended up having a great time and getting an impromptu mixology class from Kevin! He so knowledgeable and friendly. We stayed so long we ended up ordering the sticky ribs which were delicious! I loved the decor of the restaurant and how relaxed the atmosphere seemed. I will definitely stop by again when we're in Palm Beach next time.

I had been to KaPow and loved it...which was at this location before so when I saw it renamed to Shanghai'd I was excited to try it out and see if the food was just as good. Well...nothing much changed...the decor remained the same, the menu may have a couple altered items but for the most part it's the same restaurant! The service from the waitress was on point and while I enjoyed their happy hour menu, the food came out so quickly. I think I was in and out...belly full...in under 1hr! Definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a good happy hour menu on Clematis!

We visited for my child's birthday dinner. The interior is beautiful. They had anime wall holograms that feel like another world. I found it to be really immersive. The server was friendly but the push back on my drink order was frustrating. I asked for a Sprite with cucumber and mint. Yet garnishes were questioned and limited because he said they didn't want to run out. Like what?!? Food was mixed: my daughter didn't care for the ramen, while the barbecue duck fried rice was decent. The shredded duck wasn't ideal. I give it a 7.5 out of 10. A highlight was a staff member taking photos so we could remember the night. We purchased prints with frames. They came with the digital copies and were $20 for each framed photo. Overall, I'd consider returning with a different server and trying other dishes.

My girlfriend and I celebrated our anniversary. The ambiance was very nice and so was the service. The service staff was attentive and ensured we were taken care of. We had the Krack fries with the aioli sauce and it was so good, so was the tuna crispy rice. My girlfriend had the salmon dinner and I had 4 different bao buns. They were all good, but the short rib was not as tender. Overall, this is great for date nights and groups. I definitely would be back

A cute location with amazing vibes with great food , the best are the pork belly bao buns they were so good! The drinks were great and the food didn't take long to get to our table . Amazing staff ; our server took our time explaining the top most order items . The restaurant had the amazing little light show in the wall that's already a fun interesting experience on its own .

The service is always quick and friendly, and the drinks are really good without the prices being outrageous, which I definitely appreciate. One of my favorite things about this place is the ambiance. The atmosphere is super chill and the dim lighting makes it feel so cozy and easy on the eyes, I love restaurants with that kind of vibe.Nice place to have drinks, and enjoy a nice dinner or lunch without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. Definitely one of my favorite spots in downtown West Palm.

    PUPU Platter For 2

We ordered the "Pu Pu Platter" for 2, along with a couple cocktails. I had really high hopes for this place as we are Kapow lovers! However, the food was not very flavorful and came out room temperature. The "Krabby patty" (krab rangoon) filling tasted sour and inedible. The pork egg roll had a cracker-like crumbly texture that I did not enjoy, and it tasted like it had been frozen. The one item I did enjoy from the platter was the Szechuan Beef Potsticker. For $40, I would hope for better quality dim sum. Service was friendly and attentive. I loved the ambiance and decor inside! Maybe stop here for a cocktail if you enjoy the Asian-inspired ambiance.

My friend and I stumbled into Shanghai'd and we were pleasantly surprised. We were greeted immediately upon entry and taken to a table. We loved the decor of the restaurant, it felt like Japan. The lychee martinis were so delicious, perfect. The wok charred edamame was also pretty good. I wish the tuna and crispy rice had a bit more flavor, but overall I was satisfied with y experience here.

Would you eat this? It's supposed to be steak. Not sushi
    Robert A.

I ordered the steak medium, then I sent it back. Then it came out raw. Absolutely terrible. Makes sense why there were only 2 tables in here at 8pm on a Friday. This place sucks. Can't cook meat? Manager was wearing a soccer jersey. What happened . Where's Rodney? No management ?

    Cardboard glued to the noodles

Sadly I couldn't even eat my food - I ordered from here for the first time - I ordered delivery . The food looked amazing however when I tried to take it out of the container all the noodles stuck to the cardboard container like glue and peeled up half the cardboard at the same time.. terrible idea to put wet noodles or any type of damp food into a cardboard container- I'd like to think that they are trying to use recycled materials biodegradable.. but it doesn't work in a case like this where it just melts the cardboard:(

Enjoyed this new restaurant and all of the food brought to our table of six. We shared the food and each of us swore we'd be back. Food was awesome! The service was second to none, it was absolutely outstanding! The ambiance was super.

(Husband here) I drove 55 minutes from Fort Lauderdale to try this place out. Took my wife here for valentines and it was amazing. The ambience was incredible, friendly staff and service was good. I didn't actually think I'd meet the boss man who was super friendly and just overall awesome. Would I drive back out here? ABSOLUTELY

    Tuna Crispy Rice

Absolutely loved our experience here! We ordered a variety of items: dumplings, bao buns, and the tuna crispy rice. Every single dish was packed with flavor and incredibly delicious. The space is much larger than it looks from the outside, making it an excellent spot for large groups. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing with top-tier service, and they play great music too. Highly recommend

Yes they were that good and the tangy soy sauce that pairs with it enticed the hell out of my taste buds. I wasn't sure if I had already tried the beef in hot garlic sauce but I ordered it anyway. I chose a non- spicy choice but it definitely would probably be more flavorful with more spice. I loved that it came with veggies - bamboo shoots, carrots and my favorite...mushrooms! The house pan fried noodles were certainly interesting as the crispy egg noodles were in a separate container from the shrimp, calamari, chicken, pork and vegetables. Once you added the protein, veggies and gravy the noodles start to soften up. Loved that it came with more mushrooms but wished it had more taste. Overall I will definitely be getting those pork dumplings again but I may just stick to my old faithful house fried rice and orange beef until I'll feeling adventurous again.

One Star -- The Worst Chinese Restaurant Experience I Have Ever Had…read more I had an extremely disappointing lunch at Toa Toa Dim Sum & Seafood. My meal cost $62.96, but the food quality and the owner's response were completely unacceptable. The waitress recommended the stir-fried conch ($34.99). It was tasteless and so chewy that it felt like eating rubber bands. The green vegetables served with it were extremely tough and almost impossible to chew. I explained the problem to the owner. To my surprise, he admitted that he already knew about it. I asked him why he would continue serving a dish that he knew had a problem and could barely be eaten. He simply smiled. There was no apology, no expression of regret, no discount, and no offer to replace the dish. The pork buns ($6.95) were extremely dry. The steamed shrimp dumplings ($6.95) fell apart as soon as I picked one up with my chopsticks because the wrappers were breaking. When I mentioned this, the owner told me that I could not compare his food with food in Hong Kong. I was not expecting the highest Hong Kong standards--I was simply expecting basic quality from a Chinese restaurant. The final dish, steamed vegetables with oyster sauce, was badly overcooked. The owner said that he had taken over the restaurant about a month ago, although Toa Toa has been here for several years. Based on this experience, I believe the food has become even worse under the new ownership. Every dish I ordered had a quality problem, and the owner's dismissive response made the experience even worse. I left feeling that I had completely wasted $62.96. Even if this food were free, I would not want to eat it again. This was the worst Chinese restaurant experience I have ever had. I cannot recommend this restaurant.
