Whenever I move to an area one of the first missions I have it to find my Chinese restaurant that I'll always order from and well this is it ! First the food is AMAZING, second is the customer service. The main lady that answers the phone is always a gem and so nice and very efficient, the portions they give are very very good and everything is fairly priced , I love this place. My favorite chinese food restaurant in the area. I drive past 2 others to go to Shanghai Garden. They use fresh vegetables, they make their wontons by hand, and everything I've had there is great! If you like lo mein, theirs is the best I've ever had. Same for the wonton soup. read more

Gotten to know the owners and they recognize me even though I have a mask on. They have been open for Take-Out only, no seating yet, but fantastic service and food. They always ask me if I need chop sticks even though they know I have many at home. I speak a little Cantonese and they smile each time I use my language skills. I am reading this five stars because I am reading it against the local Chinese takeout places. It is becoming more and more difficult to find Chinese food in the area. After getting a wonderful foot massage across the parking lot, my husband and I decided to get some Chinese takeout. We walked in on a Friday at 5 PM and the place is bustling. Staff quickly took my order and I only waited maybe 10 minutes before it was ready. We had the hut sour soup which was perfect. I ordered shrimp and broccoli and though it was a small order, there were six very large shrimp many pieces of fresh broccoli and a wonderful sauce. The broccoli was perfectly cooked. My husband ordered Bean curd Szechuan style, and it had just the right amount of heat complete with crispy vegetables. Unlike some bean curd which is slimy, this bean curd had substance to it. We also ordered vegetable fried rice which was full of vegetables and delicious. I highly recommend this place for takeout, as it is takeout only without any tables. read more

Their dumpling are so greasy and just dough. Their egg rolls are stale looking an tasted like nothing. They put MSG (which I was alergic to) into my food and I couldn't eat it. the service was terrible. She was so rude when she was taking my order, The place has no place to sit and the wait time is at least 20 minutes even if they don't have any other orders. I think tonight is our last night getting take-out from Shanghai Garden. Everything was over cooked. The egg roll was like eating a log. It was over cooked so bad. The General Tso chicken was tough also. I ordered Moo Shu chicken and it came with 5 dried up pancakes. I think the only thing that wasn't over cooked was the white rice. I found this place last week. My order was incorrect but the food was good, specially the rangoons. I did get upset but my guess is that the lady didn't understand what I wanted. Shrimp fried rice instead of pork. The food was fresh and was cooked fast. The place is clean and have a few tables if you want to stay and have your food. As long as I am around this area, I will come and kill my rangoons cravings. Ps. If you do change your mind on something, make sure she understands. She made a mistake again. Always fast and freshly prepared. The staff is wonderfully friendly and very appreciative and polite. The food is very tasty and comes in multiple portion sizes. We feed a Family of 5 people for about $20 with a large vegetable lo mein, a 12 piece order of crab Rangoon, a pint of white rice, a large container of broccoli in garlic sauce and 4 spring rolls with crispy noodles. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for fresh and delicious food in the Central New York area. read more

Miso sad. This place was our Chinese go to...until last night. The cuts of meat were awful. Beef and chicken were loaded with gristle, the sauces were flavorless and the fake lobster was mush. We are now in search of a new Chinese joint with a happier ending. read more

This is our favorite Chinese takeout place in Camillus. It's pretty basic, the menu is identical to most other Chinese restaurants in the Syracuse area and they aren't going to win any culinary awards, but what can I say? The food is always very tasty, the portions are large and we are never disappointed. I don't know if it's because we are regular customers, but whenever I place a large order over $30 they always throw in a free appetizer. They do have a few booths, but the dining area is tiny and most customers order to go. read more

Tasty and reasonably priced. The Fried Rice tastes fresh and is always hot. The Spring Rolls are a good option as well.

Great place for Chinese food! The prices are very reasonable, portions are large and the staff are friendly. I get food from here probably twice a month with my family and I have never had a problem. They were even nice enough when I had a small order of $7 to take my credit card even though they clearly state orders less than $10 pay in cash. I saw other comments stating that they received the wrong food but the staff is so friendly that I couldn't see them not replacing it immediately. I mean English is their second language so just be considerate, state clearly what you want and check your order. Pretty simple concept. read more

There are only three Chinese take outs on this side of town and you should avoid two of them. Food is definitely second rate at this Kasson site; worse, they charge you for items and then don't put them in the bag. When you get home and call to complain they suddenly lose the ability to understand English. Try the Chinese Pavilion in Westvale; a little more in price but the food is always excellent, the service is friendly and they don't cheat you. read more
