This place does a brisk business. Very. But it's all take-out or delivery despite a pretty big space and some (3) tables inside. The 3 tables could easily be joined by 6 more, and not be crowded. But no one stays to eat in because it's not very welcoming. There is a collection of cardboard boxes that would probably be useful for bottle collectors or for a stout of other purposes. Here they only look like a mess against the wall. Presumably they are to hold the takeout orders coming in. But it's kind of a mess meanwhile and totally not welcoming. They have a typical Chinese menu, you know, the one that's in most Chinese fast food places in America. They have Chinese cooking but also some very good English speakers, that's always a plus, although not required. Just keeps it moving on the phone and in line well. We shared dumplings (pork). Good. Came from frozen I think. Food 3.5 stars. Presentation, cleanliness etc perhaps 2. Pleasant employees 4. Averaging around 3 stars. But if you do delivery and don't have to come here I bet the stars would be higher. Great easy parking. read more

This place has the freshest ingredients in the Camillus area and always puts out a solid main dish...I have not been a big fan of their fried rice, but it is starting to grow on me, as they have improved it as it is not as dry as it used to be...this is my go to spot for Chinese...king pao chicken, general Tso's chicken and beef and broccoli are some of our favorites...wonton soup is also very good.... read more

Ordered our Traditional Christmas dinner. Food was great. My wife loves their egg rolls. The order was prepared quickly and everyone in the facility was gracious and friendly. I was sad they did not have the 2024 calendar, which I traditionally hang in my office. Can't wait until next year. read more

This place is amazing for Chinese food. Alot choices on the menu. Excellent Lo mein! General Sao's chicken is crispy and tender delicious. Szechuan Spicy beef is awesome delicious. Chef special Wor Shu Duck is crispy and delicious with vegetables. The only Chinese restaurant that has duck on menu within miles. This place is superb! 5/5 stars!! read more

Horrible. Tried giving them another chance. Crab Rangoon was nothing but super fried with very, and I mean VERY, little filling. Also, they didn't provide the usual dipping sauce, instead it was a bland, watery, dipping sauce in a teeny tiny container. Not ordering again. read more

Menu is limited ,by many I've seen, lately. .. but what they do, they do right. A. The post which mentioned, all the cardboard boxes against the wall... There's a liquor store, next door... they use the boxes (cut) as bases for the bags and orders... Gentleman taking orders was very personable.. recognized and knew his customers and their regular orders and this week's deviation, lol... Singapore Mai Fon , was steller... Wonton soup.. used a real base, not from salty starter. Sesame Chicken was excellent. .. Btw.. it's a take out joint. I used to love this place. I've noticed, however, that the past couple of times I ordered from there that the taste has changed. Also the prices have dropped a little. I'm not sure if it changed ownership (?) I ordered General Tso's Chicken with pork fried rice. I tried two different pieces of chicken and they were both very hard/chewy, and bland. I threw it out and decided to try my rice. It was okay. Just okay. Used to be amazing food (despite the degree of "cleanliness" in the establishment), but after my last two experiences, I am going elsewhere Oh, and I didn't call back and complain as I didn't feel it was worth my gas money to drive back out for more of the same. My kind of place: unpretentious, not expensive, and just good food. No frills. I came back to Auburn for vacation and I had to go to the best Chinese food I have ever had. I've been away for 15 years and i was glad to see that it was still in business. Same great food and even had a few items new to me e.g. Chinese donuts, fried scallops... If you are from Auburn and take this place for granted you are making a mistake. I never had a bad dish here. Make sure this place stays open for another 15 years. This place has obviously changed hands. The food looks the same but the flavor is horrible. Spring rolls and egg rolls were some kind of nasty mushy stuff and the General's beef was completely bland. I have to say that we stopped going there for a good three years because it had gotten so dirty, and the cook (S) weren't cleaning their hands after blowing their nose, etc. A couple weeks ago we tried it again, as the place we had switched to was so clean, but the food just had a "watered down" flavor. We went back to China Wok, and the place seemed to be a lot cleaner, and it was so good to have the Chinese food have that great flavor again! I just hope they continue to keep it clean, because the flavor of the food is just so tasty! read more

Whenever I visit home I try to grab a meal from China Wok. It's by the far the best American Chinese cuisine in the area. Their General Tso's is the best I've ever had, and their pork lo mein is fantastic. If I only I could get this where I live... This place is the definition of a hole in the wall. they have good chicken wings!!!! dumplings are amazing & the sauce that goes with them is so good. chicken is usually good,,, sometimes a few tough pieces.. rice is tasty but they put too much broccoli in with my sesame chicken. lomein was also very tasty, and their spicy bean sprout stuff (not sure what is it called) is good it comes in a round dish. read more

One of my favorite places in Auburn for Chinese food. Specifically their sweet and sour chicken. But their delivery driver is one of the most negative people I've ever met. Every time I go into that place he always complains to me about how much he hates his job or how the "owners are trying to screw him over." I just wanna order my food and leave but he's always complaining about the place he works at. I don't like my job either but I don't force people to listen to me complain about it. read more
