My have times changed. I was feeling nostalgic and stopped by this location. I've been here many times before, but it had been nearly a year since I had visited. It was a total disappointment. I don't think the employee cared much to measure out the recipe for the smoothie. She made it, only to pour it into the cup and realized it was too thick to move. She then added more liquid. She was pretty much winging it I guess. The smoothie itself was okay. I think it could've used a little more soy milk, but I guess it's alright that the smoothie turned out somewhat okay. But here's the thing. I paid $9 for a small smoothie. Shouldn't the bar be a little higher? No obnoxiously loud music and someone who cared enough to make it right the first time? Doesn't Jamba realize every time one of their employees makes a smoothie, it can make or break their future business? I'm always blown away that they have people on their teams that just seem to be so disconnected from delivering a good product. There's a recipe. All you have to do is follow it to the "T" to make customers happy. And how hard is it to not blast jaw-droppingly offensive music. It melts too fast and just doesn't have the same level of gratifying texture that I've experienced at other locations. The service here is inconsistent. I was helped by a gentleman and he was nice, but clearly not focused on what he was doing. The soft serve I was handed looked like a failed science project. I will probably still give this location another try, but I wish this location would up their game and deliver the their soft-serve and bowls to a higher standard. It's a real let down to know other locations in their company deliver a superior product than what this one does.
