    Steak and Cheese Sandwich

Definitely a hidden gem. We had the Steak and Cheese and the Shapiro Ultimate Sub and both were AMAZING. I recommended for a quick bite as it was both affordable and friendly service!

I went in with a great attitude and a slight bias because of the amazing things I've heard from locals about this pop & mom market/deli. I had been encouraged to go so many times and finally decided to pop by on a whim. Ambiance: It's in a great walkable area. Steps away from Lindell, bus stops the BJC and few other locally owned markets and restaurants. Right next to a plethora of condos and apartments. It's the dwellers of this units of close proximity that frequent this establishment. It is a small space that takes in a lot of natural light. It reminds me of a NYC/Chicago corner store or bodega. When I first entered there was no one at the deli, and I waited approximately 3-4 mins. I was then cheerfully greeted by a dark haired man that seemed to be orchestrating everything that I can only presume to be the manager/owner. He helped me cypher through the menu (they were out of the ingredients to make an Italian sub) and encourage I come back. Notes: They have an ATM. All the boar head meats, sauces and condiments are all GLUTEN-FREE. For anyone that is paleo-friendly, gluten-free I suggest getting the building your own salad. Order: I ordered the ultimate gyro for my partner, the turkey club for a friend and a build your own salad with bacon, spinach, tomato and onion. We enjoyed them all. This place is good but it's more than the food... if you're a born city sleeker this place gives you "feels". There's nothing like a great corner store deli.

Took my first bite after taking the photo. The white bread hoagie is fire. Nothing amazing but if you want a good sandwich every now and again this might be the spot. Vibe wise thought the inside would be more NYC bodega but it was lacking a random cat and all the grocery options to go with it. This could be the number one spot in this neighborhood but I had high expectations. The customer service is really good but I could imagine getting stressful for them if there's only 1 person working doing sandwiches and register. 3 out of 5 stars

It was fun. Although I didn't taste many wines i was able to get good advice. The staff was awesome. The patiently help all that asked fir help. They could tell you about the different wines. One associated help me find some wine that wasn't even one of the wines they were showcasing. They had specials pricing on some wines. I believe i got a good value on my purchases. Walking through those doors felt like stepping into the wine-and-spirits version of Costco or Sam's Club: expansive, well-organized, and full of pleasant surprises around every corner. One of the biggest highlights? Free tastings and samples throughout the store. There was even a private room where a gentleman was leading what appeared to be an educational tasting or teaching session -- a nice touch that elevates the whole visit. Prices are reasonable, the selection is enormous, and the customer service is genuinely excellent. Shopping carts are available so you can browse at leisure and stock up without juggling bottles in your arms. With approximately four locations throughout the St. Louis area, there's likely one near you. Please -- when given the opportunity, check it out. It is absolutely worth the trip.

We arrived right on time for our reservation, stood for quite a few minutes in a half-empty house before being seated, then waited a very long time between visits from our apparently over-stretched waitstaff. The first cocktail I chose wasn't available; nor was the first entree. I settled on the "red wine flight", and it arrived in three glasses. The server recited their names, but I didn't catch them. Food was middle of the road. A smoked sirloin sandwich was tasty, though rather well-done. And the order of "salmon cakes", which the menu says is made of "smoked salmon, roast corn, tomato, cucumber, creme fraiche, and capers" was in fact just one cake (not cakes!), smaller than a hockey puck (about 1/2" thick max) and seemed to be made of canned fish, not the bright orange of smoked salmon. It was accompanied by five thin slices of cucumber and three or four halved grape tomatoes. No corn, no capers. It was so boring, and an overpriced disappointment at $23. If this Bridge is actually closing and focusing on the event space, they've gone out with a whimper. And if they're actually continuing service, I hope they get the food a little closer to the menu descriptions. Our drinks and water glasses were empty for long stretches. Our server was very pleasant and polite, but must've had way too much to do.

The food- 3 of 4 of us said it was just ok. The other really liked theirs. We had 2 different pastas & 2 different sandwiches. Calabrian carbonara & citrus fettuccine. They were both kinda bland & not much flavor. Large portions. Wagyu reuben & smoked french. The reuben was a hit. The smoked french was too smoky. We had the pumpkin ricotta appetizer. It was pretty tasty. And the caesar was a large portion & decent flavor.

I was looking for something specific; couldn't find it so went to the register to ask for help. One of the staff was ringing someone up and the other four looked like they were trying to find something on the register or a computer and didn't even look up. Finally, one of them did and when I asked he showed me the location of the item I was looking for. I like to wander around and look, so I did that. People coming and going, steadily busy. When I was ready to check out, I was asked if I was a rewards member, I said no. No follow up, no asking if I wanted to join, nothing. There was also a sign next to the register for a drawing that was to occur that night, the qualifier was a purchase amount which I exceeded. Just like the rewards, I was given no information, not offered an entry, again nothing. Also, no smile, no friendliness, nothing. I won't waste my time coming here again. Other places I go are way too friendly and helpful and seem to care that I am a customer. I didn't get that here at all. I was in the area, and they were listed as having the item I was looking for, next time I will go out of my way to go somewhere else.
