I debated taking it to Mercedes but the dealer is just going to milk your insurance and they do a terrible job as they don't care about you as a customer you are just another number. (I'm in the business and trust me no dealer has a good body shop, they rush and half ass many things all a numbers game for them). I used to work up the block from M-Dolla and would see many nice M and AMG cars being worked on so I figured I'd give him a try. Keep in mind my truck is a 100k+ truck with a special factory matte black finish. From start to finish it was a great process working with Marlon (the owner of M-Dolla). He is extremely kind, genuine and informative. He worked with me on many different issues and aspects of the car. While the front end was being fixed I decided to do the Brabus body kit and took some of Marlons suggestions as well. Marlon also worked with my insurance company directly and the adjustor. Due to covid delays and extreme rare availability of parts for my truck it took a long time for the process but Marlon kept me in the loop sending me pictures, videos and texts with updates. He was always available whenever I had a question or concern 24/7 and would always answer my nagging calls and texts. The end result was amazing. The paint matched perfectly and the truck looks great. There is a few other things I am going to have Marlon do as well and I know they will come out perfect. Trust me these guys did a better job than Mercedes themselves. The matte factory finish is extremely difficult for even the most skilled shops to match, Mercedes themselves have many issues with it but these guys nailed it. I'd explained to him that I was trying to decide whether to repair my car or get another newer one, and he said that getting an clear idea as to what was needed and the cost was the best route. He found out, as I had suspected, that I needed 2 rear struts, and a steering U-joint coupling. The total price that he gave me was fair, but more than I wanted to sink into my 19 y.o. car. He totally understood my dilemma, explained that it was my decision as to which way to go, and didn't even charge me for checking the car! I purchased a car from the dealer in June of this year. I was very happy with the purchase until I…read morehad the car for two days. All of a sudden the car started jumping and making noises. I contacted the Dealer and told him what was happening with the car. In the interim, I took the car to my mechanic, who told me that the brakes, the struts and the rotors were all bad. The straight bar was disconnected and the suspension was shot. This car passed inspection by someone that the dealer uses. How could this car have passed inspection? When I confronted the Dealer about this, he said that the car was fine. I got a quote from my mechanic for $2200 to have the repairs fixed. I contacted the Dealer and told him the situation he said to bring the car in and I said will the repairs be part of the warranty he said no. I had a 30 day warranty on the car, but he said it was just for the engine and the transmission. As per the lemon law the fact that the brakes the struts and the rotors were faulty. The car should've never passed inspection. The car was deemed unsafe to drive as per the law. This should've been covered under the warranty. The Dealer told me that he would lose money if he did the repairs for nothing because he would be making a very little on a used car. That is not my problem. I went in there and I trusted him to sell me a safe car. The car was over $10,000. - 11,800 with taxes and registration. I contacted him several times and he said the same thing over and over again he said to return the car and purchase another one. I said I never heard of such a thing in my life. You sold me a car and you are not standing by the law and having these dangerous Issues with the car repaired. He said return the car he'll do the repairs and I'll be able to sell the car for $13,000. What a disgraceful thing to say to someone who trusted him to do the right thing. I am going to be getting an attorney because I am so upset by how this man does business. The inspection that was done was by an outside person that he uses, and it was a fraudulent inspection because it should have never passed. The dealer claims he had nothing to do with the inspection. What????? I spoke to several lawyers who said that the car should've never been sold to me in the condition it was in and the car should've never passed inspection and I have all of this in writing. I really trusted this Dealer. I sent him the estimate from my mechanic with all of the things that were wrong with the car and he never responded. I called him today and he did not even wanna meet me halfway. He said you were supposed to bring the car and then I was gonna look at it. I said yes and you were gonna charge me. This is so unfair to do to someone. He wouldn't even meet me halfway with the repairs. He said the only thing that I have to do is tell you to return the car that's my legal responsibility. If you buy a car from this Dealer, make sure you bring your own mechanic in to do an inspection because the person he uses is fraudulent. I now have to spend money on repairs that I really don't have the money to spend, but I have no choice. Thank you thank you Azra for leading me to believe that this was a safe car that I was purchasing only to find out that it was not and to have to spend $2200 to have the repairs done. He keeps saying return the car return the car. I don't want return the car. I want him to do the right thing and he did not.
