I thought it was a fairly simple request but only Bernard transportation had the courtesy to reply to my quote request. Ruben contacted me right away and connected me with the driver "Mr. Harold". We made the arrangements for pick up, destination, and cost within a few mins after contact. I checked in with them 24hrs before my flight arrival and when I got there Mr Harold was waiting for me at a door outside baggage claim and we were off. Mr Harold spent the drive giving me the lay of the land, and restaurant recommendations; several of which I visited with my colleagues during my week long business trip. Had a perfect start to my first ever visit to NOLA and Bernard Transportation was a big part of that experience. Lastly, my flight out of MSY was scheduled for 5am. And Mr Harold was there to pick me up at our prearranged time of 345am! Overall a worry free experience; wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bernard Translation! If i'm renting a bus service for 14 hours and then only have to use 8 of those hours, do you think a business would be happy to provide the correct service in the smaller window. Instead, he made a group of 30 people wait in a parking lot for over an hour and a half, nearly two hours for him. Because of this, we had to miss a dinner reservation. It is difficult with our time difference to get a phone conversation in and she understood that so we continued to message via Yelp. We confirmed our pick up and when we arrived I received a call from Warren, our driver. He picked us up in a large van (probably not a van, but I don't know the name of it) and we had the entire transport to ourselves. Warren was kind, professional and engaged in friendly conversation. We were charged $45 for the arrival and I had not paid yet. Warren dropped us off and Ms. Christi contacted me later for my credit card information. It was so easy and stress free. For our departure we scheduled a 5am pick up on Monday morning for $35. I prepaid when I paid for our first ride. However, at 5:10 our ride still wasn't there. Based on our first trip I figured something must be wrong. It turns out our driver had a flat tire and was stuck on the side of the road. I arranged for alternate transport after leaving a message on Yelp as well as a voicemail. Ms. Christi refunded my money for that portion of the trip before we even arrived to the airport!
