(Since then, the office has rescheduled this appointment due to the doctor being unwell!). We get many texts to confirm the appointment, and then the Dr. gets sick on the day of the appointment! The same thing happened yesterday morning (December 4th)! The doctor is unwell again; therefore, the appointment is canceled! If he's sick, why did they confirm the appointment yesterday and early this morning? They suddenly canceled three hours before the appointment. When we contacted, they responded, "How about another doctor tomorrow?" Either the clinic is very disorganized, the staff is performing favors for other patients, or the doctor does not know how to conduct his business! How could the office or the doctor treat a new 90-year-old patient in this manner? The specialist at UCI referred him to us. This is completely unprofessional and insensitive. When we called today, we heard every excuse in the book and repeated "we understand, but this is the way it is" NOT GOOD!

Because I asked for MRI that's mean I'm combative and unruly .The nurses and Doctors did not care one bit I couldn't put any weight on my leg or foots watched me get help from Valet telling me I shouldn't be driving if I can't walk, they made me stand on my leg and took the wheel chair from me while I had to hop into my car. I was there because my left leg wasn't working that's the reason my college CSULB sent me and No one ever looked at my ankle or leg , no one took my shoe off, no one touched my foot yet they did tell me I wasn't an emergency and they dont check for grade 2/3 mussel tears. This was the worst care I have ever had, I repeat the worst care I have ever received ever, the doctors were rude every single nurse except for the busier that check for blood clots, and she also said you should be getting a MRI they said you heard a pop in your leg I told her yes and 15 other student heard it before I dropped ,the nurses would correcting me every time I said a word wrong, like trimeler fracture, I had surgery on my leg, I said the word wrong, laughed at me; when I said I was in pain for 5 hours they but told me I was only there for 2:45 mins , I asked to leave the nurse that's was laughing at me followed me all the way to the waiting room to then try and shake my hand, I have never felt so uncomfortable with a nurse before, I arrived there at 1:45 left at 5:45 to drive to Newport and see a doctor that actually touched my foot , took the time to ask questions, took off my shoes and saw the problem. I did have a G3 tear and needed medicine and now I'm non weight barring for 3 months and can't walk. When your in pain doctors shouldn't be mocking you, nurses shouldn't be laughing and telling someone that they have to be having a stroke to get a MRI is crazy. Don't waste your time here unless you're bleeding. I was sent to the hospital after falling and Then the hospital punished me for coming there treating me like I was nothing. I left with out crutches or a boot, I couldn't walk but they said they can't do anything b it check for blood clots. Don't come here, go directly pass this shit hole and go to UCI. Honestly the doctors and hospital failed yesterday and I hope when they went home they thought about doing better, better service better training better listening. Just horrible. Pain was 10/10 and today it's 10/10 and they did nothing but make me not ever want to step in to a room with doctor or nurses that think because they have srubs on they are better and smarter then you and apparently leg/ankle injuries can wait. Today I have no feeling in my toes and can not move my ankle up or down. Thanks for wasting 3 hours a 1hr drive in traffic and then 1 drive back in traffic to a doctor at a urgent care that took better care of me and actually cared I was there and in pain. It's sad. This is what the doctor said in my chart because I asked for a MRI for a leg tear and then asked to be transported to another hospital for better care. " He was demonstrably upset and verbally abusive. He states that he wasted his time. He states that he can go to any other ER and he will get an MRI done immediately and then will sue me because we are not taking care of him. I tried to explain to him that this is the workup" . I didn't ask for a US or to check for a blood clot when I keep telling them no I didn't have one or ever have a problem , I told them I hurt my leg from nothing my school sent me people everyone heard a pop in my leg I feel to the ground and couldn't walk my feet where numb and I was asking for a MRI that's all.I was clearly in pain and they didn't offer me anything but told me NO one is going to help me and I would be be sent home anyways for a non emergency. However, my PCP was 20 minutes late. Traffic, I guess. I actually heard her come in so she wasn't just sitting in the office somewhere. I like this office for convenience but if I'm expected to be early, I at least expect the doctor to be on time, especially if they are only spending 10 minutes with me. I was there for my annual physical exam and was told to undress even though I wasn't there for a well woman exam. I do a well woman with my OB/Gyn. Well, it would have been nice to know I didn't need to undress completely. Needless to say, I was examined and then I was given a referral to a specialist when my request for additional testing was denied. The specialist would need to order the additional tests, according to my doctor. I left with my lab order for bloodwork a little miffed that I had to make another appointment but such is the state of the healthcare system these days.

This lady call Dr if she is afraid of getting infected I think you are in wrong profession you do not have any ethical role of responsibility of this career. Dr should be helping and treating illness and given the appropriate medication to relive the pain of the patient is having by asking questions and examining the person regarding the symptom or refer to specialist. She's an old fashioned family doctor that as a medical professional I find completely competent. There's APA there or an NP by the name of Michaela who is just as sharp. Extremely thorough and knowledgeable. She caught an issue on my high blood pressure meds that no one in the last 15 years has caught and by simply adding something to my meds it dramatically helped improve my blood pressure. I've read comments about not returning phone calls. She's called me twice already on some lab work. The first time she called Without me asking her to call she reviewed my blood work left me a voicemail. There was a issue with my fasting insulin which got me a little nervous I called back within 48 hours she rang me back and got me on the phone personally to address it. I asked her to create some new lab forms so I could have it tested again and she did it without question. I don't know what people expect from a doctor in today's world. There's the real world and there's the hypothetical world In the hypothetical world the Doctor will spend an hour and a half with you and find that every single issue that is of concern but in the real world to be able to survive financially a doctor cannot spend huge amounts of time with each patient and still stay in practice peter I ran a medical practice I could not spend any more than 10 or 15 minutes with each patient or I'd be out of business. I have nothing but good experiences to say and I've been there 4 months now on three separate occasions. My refills are easy to do there's been no argument about running prescriptions for me I would give it a 10 out of 10. I'll add one other point that you might want to take into consideration when looking at these negative reviews. A doctor that has a six week to 8 week waiting list is a popular doctor, and he or she is a popular doctor for a reason. Think about that.

This doctor may be competent but the practice is a complete mess. She lets an x-ray tech run the place because that person will be rude, confrontational and dismissive. So much for patient care. There are serious issues with professionalism, patient communication and follow up. There is no patient portal; phone calls are literally never returned; there is constant staff turnover and beware if you ever have to deal with the so-called medical director who is named multiple times in the reviews as in need of replacement. I second that. The doctor will not respond to calls or walk-in appointments. Even if your insurance covers it, they will not hold tele-health appointments until you put in your credit card number. What if you have no credit card or donʻt want the world to have your cc number when it isnʻt used? "Itʻs our vendor, we have no control over it." Change your vendor. This is health care, not profit care. The Physicians Assistant will not consult on the telephone. So either find a way to get to the office no matter how sick you are, or forget about it. When I did put in my credit card for the tele-health, the PA prescribed a medicine without noting that it was off the formulary. The co-pay cost me $430. The place is dark, dingy, completely unwelcoming and looks unsanitary. There is no written material to explain to new patients how to navigate the crazy way the practice operates. Staff are polite but depressed; check out Glass Ceiling to see what the staff really think about working there; it is not good. Find another doctor. This place is a nightmare.

Every request is met with resistance, suspicion, or refusal. She appears more concerned about protecting her license than actually helping her patients, which makes no sense when patients are simply asking for basic care--not anything illegal or inappropriate. As a primary care doctor, answering basic questions and assisting patients should be part of the job. Instead, she questions everything, dismisses concerns, and refuses to help unless something strictly requires her signature. This creates an uncomfortable and frustrating environment for patients who are simply seeking care. The office staff makes the experience even worse. The front office manager is extremely rude and unprofessional. The physician assistant is also disrespectful and unhelpful. Phone calls are often unanswered, and when someone does pick up, staff members are rude, talk over you, or even yell. All they seem to care about is collecting co-pays and billing insurance, not patient care. The only positive person in this entire office is Mina, the Front receptionist. She is kind, respectful, and genuinely willing to help. Unfortunately, she is the only one. My wife and I have both been treated disrespectfully, and after this experience, we will never return. Before my appointment, I signed paperwork stating that discussing anything "outside" an annual wellness visit could result in extra charges. Staff assured me repeatedly that I wouldn't be billed for anything additional since I was just there for my yearly physical. The doctor saw me for about two minutes - asked my age, listened to my heart, and left. There was no physical exam, no real discussion about my health, and no guidance about next steps. She sent me to get bloodwork and told me she was just running routine tests covered by insurance, but she added additional tests (like checking vitamin D) without my consent. This cost me more out of pocket, and I am now left with about a $70 bill for what should have been routine, fully covered bloodwork. She also sent me for an ultrasound at a clinic without explaining any cost implications. I ended up paying $900 out of pocket. Previously, I've always had doctors explain costs before ordering expensive tests, so I expected the doctor to have my best interest in mind and give me a heads-up. I felt blindsided and like the office prioritized billing over patient care. Even one staff member quietly told me that I wasn't the only patient who walked out feeling this way, which made me realize this isn't just my experience.
