What a coffee place should be. Opened April 2024.
Conveniently located ten minutes from Texas A&M University, Downtown College Station and few minutes away from Downtown Bryan, TX.
BARISTAS:
Baristas go above and beyond to serve you here. I came in for few hours to get some work done before meeting friends. I ordered, Pistachio Loaf with Double Brownie and Freshly Brewed Pike Roast in a For-Here Mug. Bri was one of the baristas that stood out to me.
When Bri brought me my freshly brewed coffee, I was surprised how fast it was made. Under one minute from placing my order. Very briefly afterwards, she brought me my Pistachio Loaf with Double Chocolate Brownie. Not only did she bring it in two separate For-Here Plates, but she extended her customer service by warming up both items. That's the type of service I didn't expect, but sincerely appreciate.
At this café, all the baristas did a great job. Anytime a guest walked in to stay awhile, I noticed barista that was helping place their order, would let guests know, "I will bring it to your table." It's a small gesture that speaks volume and makes customer feel appreciated and cared for.
ATMOSPHERE:
The space is not only new, but baristas take great pride in keeping the space clean. Tables and chairs were wiped with no visible crumbs onsite. Generous seating is available. By the entrance, to the left, you will find most of your seating. A large table wit six chairs is immediately to your left with a modern light fixture above. To the right of the entrance, two additional chairs with table and white artwork.
Continuing on your left, you will find large panel of windows. Bellow is one large leather bench with six tables, six chairs and outlets bellow the bench. In the middle of the café, you can find three more tables with six chairs. Merchandise shelf is available by the order counter.
MUSIC & WI-FI:
Great music can be listened here with variety of genres. Wi-Fi worked well without any interruptions. This is a great space to get work done.
RESTROOMS:
Restrooms were clean and spacious, accommodating those with wheelchairs. At the time of this writing, the restroom to the left does have the sink faucet that may not function properly. When placing your hands under the faucet, the motion sensor spit out water faster than it should, and thus spraying your pants or dress. The restroom to the right has no issues.
PATIO:
Well covered, large patio to enjoy your stay here. Patio faces Texas Avenue, so it may be loud at times. Patio offers good seating. Six tables with thirteen chairs. it's spacious and easy to move around if you have a wheelchair.
OVERALL:
It was a great experience and I can't wait to return here. I would have to say Baristas were the main highlight of this café. They took the time to talk to their regulars and hear their daily stories. Every drink and food was made right and fresh. While staying here, not once did I hear a customer say, "Can you remake my drink or food." This location showed exactly how a worldwide coffee brand should be. Going back to their roots and putting guests above all else and providing that cozy and welcoming atmosphere that started over thirty years ago.
