Came here for the first time with my family. We ordered the garlic chicken dinner special which comes with rice and the Combination Noodle Soup which was packed with meats and noodle. The broth was surprisingly delicious. For ala carte, we ordered, Mongolian Beef, Black Bean Chicken, Pud-Kee-Mow, and Egg Rolls. They were all very flavorful and delicious. There are so many different options on their menu, so we'll have to return to try different dishes. The staff are fast and friendly. There were a lot of tables and chairs to dine at. As we entered, we were the only ones and the place just looked like the business was closing down. Instantly at first, my family and I were kind of skeptical about it being good. Looking empty made us think no one comes here, but people started to trickle in and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back. When checking in on YELP, there's a 15% discount, BUT this restaurant doesn't recognize nor honor it so don't be surprised.

Ordered take out for dinner and picked it up ourselves. We ordered Combination Lo Mein, Combination Fried Rice, Mongolian Beef and 4 Egg Rolls. Came out to about $38. Not bad pricing and generous portions. They gave us plenty of sweet sauce and soy sauce for free. Sricacha is like $50 each. For take out Chinese it was pretty good. We like a lot of flavor and spice so we use a lot of condiments, but pretty good! I think my fav was the Mongolian Beef. It had a bit of crunch to it.

I can't tell you how phenomenal their food is talk about fresh off the stovetop made to order, chicken is crispy as well as veggies having that crunch and not soggy as per usual at any other restaurant! Takes 10 minutes minimum for food to come out hot and steaming fried rice is the bomb. I've had their lo mein and orange chicken as well!! Great go to spot for quick lunch!!!!

    Back in my hometown.

They don't have any of these in my hometown, but if Bryan is your hometown, then you're in luck! By national standards the Chinese food here is bad, and far from the American Chinese standard that I expect, and also it has nothing on real Chinese food of course. However, by Bryan or College Station standards, it's not bad at all, and I appreciate the large portion sizes. In fact some of the dishes are pretty good. My fave is the General Tso's.

I ordered delivery and it came very late. I then got food poisoning from the food, and when I called to complain, they just shrugged it off.

They did change the menu a bit, but it had what I exactly wanted. We ordered the Szechuan Mala Spicy Rice Noodle Bowl w/ Beef Slices, Popcorn Chicken, Shrimp Tempura, and Xiao Long Bao. The noodle bowl is the best. Tons of flavor and ingredients with the vermicelli noodles are just amazing. The popcorn chicken is delicious, nothing special. The shrimp tempura is delicious and has an amazing crunch. The Xiao Long Bao is more of a soup dumpling dim sum style. It was pretty delicious, but it didn't taste really fresh like you'd get from an actual dim sum restaurant. The staff are friendly and fast. Lots of tables to dine at. Parking lot is a bit small, but you can park on the other side of the buildings where there are more parking.

We ordered the orange chicken rice plate, wonton noodle soup, spicy braised beef noodle soup, chicken egg roll, and veggie egg roll. They were all delicious and definitely better in quality than the local Chinese fast food joints in the area. Their menu have a lot of options so we'll definitely be back to try the other dishes. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food we got. The staff are friendly and fast. The parking lot is huge, but pay attention to the parking signs. Unfortunately, they only do takeout so it's easiest and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to make a phone order vs walk-in like I did. I waited for a long time for my food to come out. Oh and FYI, their store sign is a bit confusing as they are 2 separate signs one saying healthy cuisine and another stating Chinese restaurant. There are 2 doors, but really, it's the one on the left side because the right side appears to be storage or something.

Last year in Spring 2023 (before the semester-long renovations), Shun de Mom was my favorite eatery in CSTAT. I ate here at least 2-3 times/month. However, they're not the same anymore (maybe a different management staff?). For starters, they changed their menu and removed the Thailand Chicken (my favorite dish) along with raising their prices slightly. More importantly, they changed the sauces so "saucy" dishes (like the Orange Chicken) just did not taste good. The chicken lo mein had very little flavor and the noodles seemed "rubbery" for some reason. Lastly, the salt and pepper pork ribs looked exceedingly deep-fried and I'm fairly sure had MSG on them. The only semi-decent dish was the chicken fried rice. So if you're hankering for chicken-fried rice within walking distance of campus, then this is your place. One positive is the servers were exceedingly friendly and the food came out fairly quickly (~10 minutes). The chairs are metal and neither comfortable nor uncomfortable.

I've had scallops in the past and the scallops that they had in there or whatever they where were extremely fishy to the point of the entire Fried Rice tasted like fish.
