She's 4 years old so her attention was immediately caught by the scoop of ice cream on top of the drink. I asked if the drink comes with the ice cream prior to ordering it and was told they are out of ice cream. So no one was going to say anything if I hadn't asked? It's a pretty big factor of the drink itself...Okay, how about the Oreo blended drink? "Actually, we are out of that too". I'm not going to go into how awful and syrupy the drink itself was. I ordered the Passionfruit, orange, and grapefruit w/ boba drink. I requested less ice, 30% sweetness and honey boba. They got the ice right. But the 30% sweetness was too sweet, and made me think the regular would be diabetes inducing. I would recommend no sweetness, but I feel it would still be too sweet. The boba however, they did get right. It was the perfect amount of softness to chew ratio and was impressed, since most don't make it this soft. I would prefer they had sizes for their drinks, since most of there drinks appear to be larges, and I would prefer a small size. I could not finish the drink, since the sweetness made it disgusting for a tea. I would not recommend wasting your money here. There are way better boba shops in the valley. read more

Terrible experience today. We've been coming here frequently since they opened. We order from Postmates almost as frequently as we walk in, as my kids want boba all the time. TLDR; only okay if it's the only option. If there were a decimal point system I'd rate it a 2.5 because it's pretty mid. Their drinks are very sweet and the tea isn't strong enough for my taste. I love Dayung's and they have held me steady for the last year and half that I've been here in Arizona, but Sharetea is almost certainly the best boba spot in Phoenix now. I haven't found another shop that can match Sharetea's quality and variety yet, so it's well worth the extra premium for a drink (anywhere from $4-6 depending on add ons). They're most known for their Hokkaido milk tea, and today's matcha fresh milk was delicious as well! You can't really go wrong with anything on the menu, but make sure you cut the sugar levels down. Sharetea's recipes tend to be VERY sweet (most drinks are good at 50%, but some I go down to 30%) unless you prefer drinking a liquid sugar bomb.. 4.5/5, rounded down for sweetness and future improvement! read more

Absolutely the worse customer service of any boba/cafe place. Been a long time customer since they've open. I've given them and 2nd and 3rd chance but this last time will be the last time. Went in and got a drink for my 3 yo son. After he drank part of it, he didn't drink it anymore so he gave it to me to drink. I started to drink it and noticed it had no sweetener at all. This was unusual for him as usually he drinks much more of it. I brought it back and kindly asked for a re-make but was told because I drank nearly half of it, I couldn't get a remake and this was "corporate" policy. I explained to them my son doesn't talk enough yet to be able to tell me what's wrong about it and I asked again to remake it despite this. Again they denied me request. I finally said I could just do a chargeback and to stop because I'm being rude to the staff, but they'll do this one time out of hospitality. I'm sorry but hospitality would have been doing it the first time I asked. As they were remaking the drink, the staff started speaking a foreign language to each other... yup, very professional. On a prior occasion when I was handed a drink with boba when I didn't ask for it, I was also met with same difficulty. It seems like whenever an order isn't made correctly, I have to beg them to get it corrected. I think based on these experiences and multiple "second chances", I will not be returning. Overall the employees are very rude and the place repeated prioritizes reducing less than $1 in costs rather than gaining/keeping repeat customers. This place has clearly gone downhill with their poor training of employees and staffing. This makes me sad because this was my favorite boba place when visiting Taiwan/hong Kong, but I will not be retuning to this location again. read more

Stopped in today for a treat! Was greeted warmly and explained the options! I ordered an Okinawa with Almond Milk with 80% sweetness. The Okinawa has a small percentage of whey protein in it, so it is not completely Dairy Free! The only Dairy Free milk option they have is almond, I wish they had others like Oat but the almond tasted surprisingly well with the tea! My only complaint was lack of flavor in the boba. I saw other reviews claiming it was too chewy and soft, I didn't mind the texture but I felt it was bland. It was like I was chewing on gum or something. I feel like it's difficult to find good quality bubble tea in Scottsdale/Desert Ridge area. There are some amazing places in the East Valley but sadly not a ton of options close to where I live. I would return if I did not have other options, 4-star review for friendliness of the staff and value of the drink. read more

Worst place in Arizona. The employees here are very very rude. I had a new girl taking me order and when she asked an employee for help they looked at her like she was crazy and ignored her, the employees here are cold and they always give me an attitude. When I asked something from the "manager" in charge, she gave me a cold answer and gave me a look when I walked out. Also walking in, I saw the employees come out from the back coughing and I over heard them talking about them vaping and smoking in the back. I ordered two milk teas, 30% and 80% sweetness. Both tasted like 2% milk, JUST 2% milk. I went back in and told the kid working and he said "that's how they taste when the sweetness level is adjusted." No kid, no. I am no milk tea snob but I've had my fair share of teas at a decreased sweetness level but none that tasted like just milk. Had him remake both and same issue. Went to Sharetea to grab a drink and it was 9:30. The worker allowed for two other guest to come order but then told us while we were in line that they can't help us because they are closed. Sharetea is a great spot for a quick boba fix. You can customize your drink just the way you like it; from the level of sweetness, ice, add ice cream or toppings. They have also blended drinks for me when they are normally iced which is great. They tend to run on the less sweet side which is perfect in my opinion because I like to indulge in the extras. Give their custard a shot if you want that extra creamy sweetness. The tiger tea is also one of my faves. The ultimate treat is adding an ice cream scoop Also they have a punch card for frequent fanfare goers. I missed out on about 6 stamps but the last time I went there the friendly associate asked if I had one and she hooked me up. So don't miss out on your free treat if you love boba. read more

Last week when I went I was shocked to be told by the employees that Sharedtea has switched their brand of boba and is not sharedtea bobas anymore. The new bobas are larger and completely soft. I've been here a couple of times now since it opened and when I first heard it was opening I was so excited. The drinks itself are great and it's nice how customers are able to customize the drinks for the sweetness level and ice level. Beware though some drinks are very sweet even if you lower it down to 50%! The price is reasonable here. Although the drinks are great, the boba itself is very inconsistent. Some days the boba has a nice consistency but other days it's very chewy and hard. I mix the boba at the bottom to make sure they don't stick together but I find myself drinking a big chunk of boba some days. read more

Dropped by to grab a tea with a friend around 3:00 pm on a Friday and was met with a healthy crowd. However, the line moved quite fast and we were able to put our orders in and get our drinks within ~10 min so no worries there. There are a few tables and couple outside that you can sit at, but the complex itself has other benches and chairs so you can wander once you get your drink as well. I got my usual -- Okinawa pearl milk tea with less ice and 80% sweetness and was satisfied with how it came out. Pretty much what I've experienced at their CA locations. I didn't have any of the service issues mentioned in other reviews so perhaps consistency is still a bit of a weak point here. Seriously.. wasted an hour waiting for my drink. Finally got it and it was wrong. I told them I cannot have any sugar and a drink was recommended to me. I cannot have sugar and chose this place due to the zero sugar option. My drink came out finally (hour later) and double checked with them to ensure it was no sugar. Took a sip and it was very very sweet. Looked at the bottom only to see sugar floating around. Now this is going to affect my levels, I have no drink and I wasted an hour of my time. I'm a fan. Yummy classics ad well as good smoothies and I always look for non caffeine options for my kiddo. I know the popping boba isn't authentic but that is my only reason for not giving 5 stars. .no popping boba.
