I ordered a triple shot vanilla latte. It wasreally good and had a great balance of flavors. The espresso was strong and smooth without tasting bitter, and the vanilla added just enough sweetness without being overpowering. I wokke up way too early and went hunting for coffee nearby and honestly, it was either Newphews Coffee or a coffee chain. Google Maps made it look like an empty lot, so I wasn't even sure it existed...but I figured worst case, I'd just grab gas nearby and move on. Pulling in was a little confusing -definitely pay attention to the arrows on the road because I ended up in the wrong spot instead of the drive-thru (a sign would help...or maybe I just missed it). There were about four cars ahead of me, which felt like a good sign. Someone came right up to my window to take my order, and when I said it was my first time, they were super helpful with recommendations. I went with a 24oz SF Augustine with cold foam and three espresso shots. It was really good - perfectly balanced, not too sweet. The espresso had a slightly burnt taste, but not in a bad way or anything overpowering. I also love that they have a "best sellers" list and it makes trying something new way easier and the drinks are pretty unique. Definitely coming back! Heads up: this is more of a grab-and-go spot--no seating, and I'm not sure about ordering ahead. But if you're an early bird who just wants a solid coffee fast, it's perfect. And I'm pretty sure it's local, which makes it even better! read more

I saw this on the map and I wanted to go because it had such great reviews! This area doesn't have a ton of coffee places so I was excited to see something newish! This concept almost reminds me of Dutch Bros since there isn't a seating area on the inside. This was my first time going and I really wanted to know what the most popular drink was in order to make the most informed decision so I asked the lady who was taking my order. She responded with the first thing that was on the menu, which, of course I knew that was probably popular because it was the first thing on the menu. She basically rushed me to place my order and I felt like I had the worst customer service experience for my first time here. Yes, the coffee is really good and I do think you get a really good bang for your buck because I got a medium which I believe was 16 or 18 ounces and it was $7. This place has a pretty solid strawberry matcha. Get the cold foam too, it's good. The matcha is not too sweet, apparently they make all their drinks at about 50% sweet so it's not too overwhelming/doesn't need much modification. Easy drive through for a quick morning bevvy. read more

I was looking for a coffee spot by the office that was open at 5am and Nephews popped up. I was honestly skeptical thinking it's going to be garbage but wanted to give them a try cause I was in need of a coffee. I'm so glad I tried them! I always go with just a caramel oatmilk latte when trying a new spot to checkout the beans. The espresso is so smooth, the drinks aren't watery or too much milk, flavor was on point and not super sweet. They hit all the notes and are open early. I've had caramel, vanilla, pistachio lattes and cold foams added. The drive up makes it quick and the same 2 gals have been there each time I've popped in before work. ** Decent drink, frustrating pricing experience** I stopped by Nephew's while visiting North Scottsdale and ordered a medium Augustine (their specialty caramel and vanilla latte) with oat milk and cold foam. The drink itself was tasty -- no complaints there. What soured the experience was the price and how it was presented. A staff member greeted me at the drive-thru entrance and took my order on a handheld device before I ever had a chance to see a menu board or price list. I paid close to $9 without knowing in advance that oat milk and cold foam would add 30% on top of the already elevated base price. There's no pricing available online either, so there was no way to look this up ahead of time. It was not until I was reviewing my credit card charge after the transaction that I realized this elevated pricing. For comparison, the same size and modifications at Starbucks came out to $6.50 and at least there you can go inside while relaxing, working, etc. When I reached out to the business before posting this review, hoping to just get it resolved directly, the response was polished but ultimately dismissive -- a copy-paste explanation about "market pricing" and boards I never had a chance to see, with no real acknowledgment of the actual issue. After pushing back with a direct price comparison, the "goodwill" resolution offered was a $0.60 refund. On a ~$9 drink. It felt less like an apology and more like being told my complaint wasn't worth taking seriously. Again, the coffee itself is decent, and I'm sure this is a small business trying to make things work. But between the pricing opacity and how the follow-up was handled, I left with the impression that customer concerns aren't really a priority here. If you go, know what you might be signing up for before you order -- and don't expect much if you raise a concern afterward. read more

We are rarely up in this area, but stopped by on a random weekend trip. The workers are honestly so kind and friendly, explaining drinks and recommending things or substitutes. They were able to figure out how to make one of their signature coffee drinks without coffee for my kid. I forgot on our first drink to say we needed non-dairy (lactose sensitivity) and they had already started making the drink; they quickly remade the drink and it was perfection! The matcha was legit (they use ceremonial grade) and they did not over sweeten our drinks. Gotta love a good coffee drive thru with delicious drinks! If we lived closer we would be there regularly; since we don't, it's on my list as a stop anytime we're up there! read more

Came here right before an exam to give me a jolt of energy and I chose the right place. I don't typically order something crazy when it's my first time going somewhere, but something in me wanted to try their seasonal caramel apple ice blended. So I did. And although it was extremely flavorful and sweet, the coffee was delicious and blended smoothly (Starbucks take notes). So next time I was in the area, I hit the drive thru and my love for Nephews was born. The Elias was exactly what I had hoped for - creamy, coconutty, icey coffee deliciousness! And now, my husband is addicted. He is a coffee drinker, but the Elias is also his favorite. He got it hot the first time, but now wants the same blended that I get. Service is Top Notch! Driving my niece and nephews home from school i would see this sign for Nephews coffee shop on the 101 buuuuuut it was always too late i no the day for coffee, buuuuuut the other day i happened to drive by in the morning and i was like TODAY IS THE DAY!!! and guess what???? I'm soooooooo in loooooove with this coffee shop!!! The coffee is absolutely phenomenal!!! Delicious flavor while still maintaining coffee taste !!! I've had the Elias- Coconut white mocha and the Valentine- Chocolate covered strawberry !!! Both were addictive and so satisfying !!! The customer service is outstanding! They are so friendly and helpful without acting like they're high- like i won't mention another coffee shop that does!!! lol I can't wait to try drinks off their secret menu- specifically the pistachio white mocha!!! It seems like the majority of good coffee shops are deeper into Phoenix so it is always super exciting when a good new coffee place arrives in north Phoenix! Came here today, it is easy to find and the drive through is super convenient. It was not busy at all but I don't think they've had their grand opening yet! I got myself a cold brew with coconut cold foam and my husband a hot caramel latte with extra espresso. They were great about making sure the order was correct! My drink was really good, loved that the cold foam wasn't overly sweet or overpowering. And the coffee was really good too. The baristas were nice and I talked to I think the owner who was also super nice and checked how I liked the cold brew! They have a stamp card too which is great. We're hooked! Noticed this little drive thru coffee shop the other day, tried it out & it's the best we've had around here. So happy it's right in our neighborhood. We're already loyals with the loyalty card. The only thing is make sure you have time for the stop. You can't be in a rush.
