This is a pretty good dessert option in the area. I tried the Horchata ice dessert. Sadly, it was too sweet for me. I'm sure that you can adjust the sweetness level! My daughter wanted to try Sumó Snow since she drove by it a few weeks ago. She looked them up online and got excited to try their Korean corn dogs and the boba. When we came in it was empty, no one at the register but then a nice lady came to take our order she gave us time to look at the menu. The place is really cute inside. We ordered two horchata milk teas with Boba, Thai milk tea with Boba, and two Malibu refreshers. My daughter ordered the potato and beef dog, my son ordered the original cheese dog. Both were a hit! My favorite is the refresher. I think we're going to make this place a regular treat. read more

I'm very picky about boba. This is the only place in Phoenix that has consistently cooked the boba well, and they have such a huge selection of fun flavors. I usually get 50% sugar in various milk teas and it's perfect. Highly recommend. read more

Ohhhhh someone bought me a delicious drink from Sumo Snow!!! My drink was delivered in a large round cup, sealed with a decorative cover. I ordered Carmel coffee with taro milk. Unusually good and not too sweet, good caffeine kick. Can also get it boba style . I will def make an in-person visit and try something else on their unique drink menu. Highly recommend. read more

Love the Mango Bingsu! Soft fluffy and flavorful, after trying it once I've been back a few more times for the exact same thing. Here's the tea on my boba visit at sumo sno. The boba? It was so mushy, almost like pudding! And don't get me started on the matcha--it tasted like it had a secret life as expired milk. As for the crème brûlée with oat milk, it was like drinking sugary milk with a sprinkle of hope that it would taste like dessert. On the bright side, the vibes were aesthetic! With a bit of firmness in the boba and some fresher ingredients, they could definitely turn this place from a sugar shack to a boba paradise! SO HAPPY I FOUND THIS PLACE! Finally, an amazing boba place closer to my side of town! They have a ridiculously big menu with all the boba favorites + Korean Corn Dogs and Cheese Dogs and Sushi and other eats! I got my usual Taro MilK Tea with honey boba and it was delicious! That honey butter cheese dog was fire. I give it 8/10. What would make it better is if instead of maple syrup for dipping, they did like a hot honey or spicy maple syrup. That would hit all the notes. Spicy sweet and salty. Potato dog was good! The hotdog inside had good flavor and was super crispy. The regular Korean cheese dog was good, but I wouldn't get that one and the honey butter one again at the same time because they're both pretty similar in flavor- one is just coated in powdered sugar with maple syrup and the other in regular sugar with ketchup and mustard. The spicy Korean cheesy corn was okay. It was really runny so I didn't like that, also didn't taste any cheese. It did have a nice heat level though! The chicken goyza were good, pretty basic, not amazing, but not bad. Just good. I would order them again though. Lastly the crème brûlée cake roll I did not like. It had a good flavor, but the texture was way too off putting for me. I'd go back to this place again. I give it a solid 8/10. Everything looked exactly like the pics online and all the sauces were separate to put on yourself. It was packed with care and I appreciated that a lot. read more

Perfect spot for a refreshing summer drink! I'm not a boba person really, places like this can be hit or miss for me because sometimes the drinks are overly sweet. But my drink here was amazing! Was looking for something sweet, light, and fizzy after my workout today and this was just the spot! I got a ocean breeze sparkling water, which was mango passionfruit flavor. The service was super quick! Extremely cute in here too, I loved the menu and how it was animated! And they have a little Pac-Man game! They also have a little area that would be perfect for selfies haha. Only complaint is that the cups are massively huge, so you can't sip on them while you drive because it won't fit in a cup holder and would spill everywhere. I love this place and I'm SO HAPPY that there's a great boba shop in Phoenix close to us. We don't have to drive to Mesa/Chandler for our boba fix anymore. My absolute favorite drink there is the Magic Potion which is basically a creamy taro smoothie. It's not like the regular taro smoothie or taro milk tea...there's just something else in that magic potion that makes it much better. We've been here several times since it's opened and my hubs and kids have tried all sorts of drinks and there is not one that they do not like. I hope this location stays foreverrrr! read more

I took my daughter and nieces to visit this local shop. The service was very fast and friendly. They had a sign out for samples of their specials. When i asked they didn't have any and the girl was quick to offer to make some. Very kind. The ambiance is very cute. Picture worthy for sure. They also have a cool little game machine. This particular day it was warm inside but they had a portable cooler to cool it down. We got three Korean corn dogs. We have never had these before so I'm not sure of the quality but they were def made fresh and hot even after we got home. Food Original cheese dog. Prettt good. I think it's supposed to have mustard and ketchup on it. It was good that way. Spicy hiCheeto dog. This was our favorite but i would've liked it to be more spicy Drinks Thai tea- Uber sweet, made it not enjoyable. Unsweetened green tea- really good Taro Milk Tea + boba - really sweet also and very little taro flavoring Ocean breeze + mango popping boba- so good and refreshing. Strawberry Mojito + strawberry popping boba - pretty good Dragon Fruit Mojito + mango popping boba - i didn't try this one but my son loved it I would be happy to visit this a lot again and will be looking forward to trying new things in the menu read more

Ordered a taro caffe latte, ube latte, and supernova with aiyu jelly, but of all 3 drinks I would only order the taro caffe latte again. The fruit tea was a little too sweet and there was very little aiyu jelly. The ube latte didn't really taste like ube. However, it was a very cute and clean place with good music and the employee was nice. I would come back, but maybe try something different next time. read more

Plenty enough to spread along both sides and have a bit left over. The flow of customers was steady and they worked through all of the orders quickly and efficiently... really could not ask for a better quick coffee breakfast experience.

[Parking]: Mostly metered parking and I ended up parking few blocks away from the shop (plenty of metered parking spots near the intersection of E McKinley St & N 5th St). [Atmosphere]: Inside of this historic house, the wall features the work of local artists. The shop also has a cute outdoor patio area with tables. [Menu]: Apparently Matcha Latte is one of the more popular drinks here. The shop offers 12 black tea options, 9 green tea options, 8 herbal tea options, 4 white tea options, and 3 oolong tea options. *** Matcha Latte (16 oz, iced - $6.25): I was surprised that my drink was sugar free by default and I probably say yes when the staff had asked about adding sweetener. The drink was not as creamy as I thought and it was honestly a fairly mediocre drink.
