The hookah is very light, no flavor. But most importantly the experience: Instead of telling us that they were closing early because it was a slow night they were passive aggressive. They turned off the music and the lights while we were in the place. The only time they approached us was to tell us that they turned off the lights intentionally, we had to ask if that meant the were closed, which they said yes. So, beware of coming around 11PM. If the business thinks they are having a slow night, they will close early and you'll still pay the full price. Tribeca next door is a much experience and they'll treat you with respect. read more

I came back to Augusta to visit family and went one night and they made the hookah for us and I told her that it doesn't have any flavor ( it kind of tasted like whatever they clean it with ) and I ask for a flavor change . I said I didn't mind paying for the flavor change . She said , oh no I wouldn't make you pay if you didn't like it , I want you to like your hookah . I said okay , she brought another one w/ different flavor . Tasted the same like it was old dry shIsha . I expressed that I didn't like the taste and she said to me I am not going to make you another free one ( I never said not once that I wouldn't pay ) she said I'll give you a refund , but you are banned from coming again and that's our policy . The only reason I'm giving this place two stars is because of the price and music. It's very small and somewhat comfy. The customer service is trash! Good but not great. The hookahs actually smoked really good. Thick smoke and very smooth. But the service is very lackluster. Had to ask 4 times to get new coals. Never got a repack because we didn't want ask another 4 times for that. Wait staff rarely checks on you. This may have been forgiven if they were busy...but they were not. Drink menu is lackluster with just bottled beer and wine. Wait staff not knowledgeable about products. This place could but successful if they worked out management issues and focused on customer service. Also, they charge a cover...which is insane for a hookah place in Augusta. Had the most amazing time here! Me, my best girlfriend and her paraplegic, veteran friend visited this place last night. We are visiting from out of town. This is a family owned and operated business and we met most of the family. They are THE MOST polite, caring, respectful, professional people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Would rate this place lower if I was allowed too. We spoke with the owner before heading to this establishment and was reassured they would stay open 15 minutes longer for us since we were driving from 30 minutes away. When we arrived there was one young lady on shift who begged to differ since she wanted to close 15 minutes earlier than the time shown because they were "slow throughout the night" and she didn't "feel comfortable staying open until that time of night" as she said. She called the owner to confirm if what we said was true, however, the owner sided with the worker and we were pushed out of the door. I'm gonna be honest, I really wanted to like this place and I was excited to try it out but after my experience I don't think I'll be giving it another shot. I went here with my friend and both of us felt very similar. The environment wasn't very fun to hang out in, the furniture here looks pretty shabby and is uncomfortable no matter where you sit. The music they played was honestly terrible and at one point they turned it up even louder so it was impossible to hear or talk with whoever your with, like for real the bass was unbelievably cranked. I expected a chill vibe and a cool place to hang and chat but got the feeling that whether or not they were shooting for a club vibe or a chill vibe, it was just poorly executed. Great place but watch your credit or debit card statements. I would pay cash only and do not open a tap. I believe that because I did not leave them a tip they ran my credit card again but for a higher charge (for hookahs that I did not purchase to compensate for a tip) They also did not give me a receipt which was odd. So make sure you ask for one and keep it until the purchase clears on your card. When I called and asked them for the receipt that I signed first they told me they had a signed receipt but sent me a pic of a receipt that was not signed. All establishments should keep record of signed receipts and you would never let a customer walk out without signing. So they are very suspect so be ware. I won't be going back there again. If I could give them a negative I would because they do not deserve a 1. Update Jan 2017. My bank refunded me the amount these scam artist over charged me. Great Location, away from the crowded area of downtown and for some reason they had a pretty cool Dj when I went on Friday. Idk if this is the usual thing but it was pretty great. The music was really up-to-date and brought good vibes. We tried the peach flavor and the blueberry flavor tobacco for our hookah. It was told to me that they was not serving hard liquor but they had wine and beer which was fine with me because you can never go wrong with a beer. I was in Augusta for a conference. My coworker and I were looking for a laid back hookah spot. It was around 9:30 when we arrived to be greeted at the door by a woman who asked if we were regulars. I replied we were not and only in town for the next couple of days. She then proceeded to say that tonight was an open mic night and there was a $10 cover charge. We are new to Augusta but not new a hookah we're from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and patronize lots of different hookah lounges within our home town. We went to Sharifas and was very disappointed. First of all they only have one hose hookahs so you have to share and switch tips if sharing a hookah within a large group. Also me and my husband sat for well over 15 minutes while are coals were heated up which nobody gave us a Time expectancy. The gentleman that served us or took our order was very friendly very sweet. After we waited over 15 minutes my husband and I decided to ask for a refund because it was taking too long while the Owners sat in the front smoking hookah we're just sitting in the back looking around like what's going on. The gentleman that served us decided to give us a refund while the woman that was sitting with him I'm assuming his boss started arguing with us very unprofessional as she sat in the chair smoking hookah with her leg over the arm of the chair started berating us for wanting a refund and talking over my husband as my husband complained about the time it took to heat up the coals and there was no communication. I asked a woman to stop talking to my husband that way and she says to me" I wasn't talking to you"! Any other day this would have ended badly but I have matured and learned to choose my battles the gentleman stayed quiet the whole time handed me cash which we paid for with a card at the beginning of the transaction. I said thank you I took the cash and we walked outside trying to get my husband out of there as soon as possible because him and the female we're going back and forth arguing. When I got outside I realize they shorted me a dollar so I went back inside and gave the money to the gentleman and said he had shorted me a dollar the gentleman took the money back quickly went to the register to give me the right amount the female owner was still talking stuff and says give him an extra $5!!! just to be smart I did not take the extra $5 she was implying that we were broke. When actually it was a service that caused us to ask for a refund and leave their establishment. I would give this place no stars.
