Madison was fantastic with our son, his first haircut at 9 months old. Could it use a little updating? Yeah, sure. But it's a facility for children, there's going to be wear and tear. Drove a ways (1.5 hours) to come to this place because my youngest has a hard time with haircuts. Figured being able to sit in a fire truck and watch bluey while getting a haircut would help. Definitely did, not disappointed in his haircut at all he had a great stylist that worked quickly and did a very good job. My other sons stylist was a little more scattered and didn't engage as much with my son. Now for the negatives: the place itself could use a deep cleaning, dusty and many of the kids items were in need of repair. The computer system failed and the front desk girl nearly had a panic attack trying to deal with the multiple clients coming and going at that time. They were struggling to recover from the chaos for a while. If you didn't have cash they were asking for phone numbers and wanting us to leave a credit card number to run it later and they said they'd call if there was an issue running the card. I'm not about to leave personal information such as a credit card number somewhere that everyone has access to it and that isn't very organized. read more

this place is best for any child of any age! My 2 year old son got his first haircut here and he got to sit in a fire truck, Play with toys, Watch his favorite tv show, and they showed him everything before they used it! And since it was his first haircut we got a first haircut certificate and it had before and after pictures! I would recommend this place 100 percent! And for older kids there's video games that you can play while getting a haircut! There's even balloons that your child can get after the haircut! And there's candy for the kids to have after the cut! If I could I would rate this place 100 Stars!! And the workers is so nice! read more

I went to Sharky's for the first time on Saturday to take my daughter Abigail to get her first haircut. Another mom at her daycare recommended going here and I was not disappointed. The way you walk in and every kid is made too feel special from the staff members at the door to the stylist who cut my daughter's hair. Amanda was so attentive to Abigail making her first experience to getting haircut so special. If you have a kid who has never had a haircut I recommend going here get the first time haircut package comes with a before and after picture a lock of their hair and a certificates worth the money. read more

Great experience today at Sharkey's! We originally had appointments for 4, 5 and 9 year old cousins but the 9 year old boy is on the spectrum and originally didn't want to go. So we cancelled the appointment for him. He still decided to join us and the sweet ladies still allowed him to play games while we were there with the girls. They had a promotion going for dippin' dots which the girls received, and he was going to have to miss out. When we offered to buy some for him, they gave it to him for free. It was so helpful and we really appreciate their kindness! The girls both felt like princesses getting the star treatment and their haircuts and tinsel strands look adorable! We can't wait to come back! (And my 9 year old nephew has requested to come back for an appointment soon!) read more

I will say I have brought all 4 of my kids here and had the best experience till I brought my 1 year old everything was going good till Todd's the end and my son had peed out the side of his diaper and I under stand they have to follow procedures but the way the manager handled the situation I thought was very rude and embarrassing to me she made the hair stylist stop cutting my sons hair told me to take my son to the bathroom first off he dk how to use the potty yet then when she realized she was about done with my sons hair she said ok u can finish afterward she then continue on by giving me the paper towels to clean the pee up I understand they have to take apart and sanitize it and all that but here's where it got me instead of coming around the counter to talk to me she's stays behind the counter to have this conversation aloud while other people are in there getting there kids hair cut I mean she mad it seem like my child had a Disease or something so embarrassing and felt unpleasant the way she was talking to me so I called back to let them know after all the times I have been there and all my kids I bring I will no longer be going back while they put me on the phone with another manager and told her the situation what happen and she apologize and said she will have the owner contact me and never did so if the owner reads this y'all will no longer have my service.... read more

We took my one year old son here for his first haircut after it was recommended by a local moms group. We were very pleased! Michaela (?) was wonderful, letting him play with the comb and even the buzzer. He had a lot of fun playing with the balloon and the Lightning McQueen car seat. His haircut looks great and the "first haircut" package was, I thought, very reasonably priced, especially for the amenities and the quality of service and style. A very disappointing haircut and overall experience. My son is two and a half and loves cars, so I was hoping this salon would be a good fit for us. The two women working when we arrived for our scheduled appointment did not appear prepared for us and were unprofessional. Our stylist never introduced herself and lifted my son into the styling chair without his asking and without my permission. She barely glanced at the photos I brought and the final cut looks nothing like what I asked for. I specifically told her that I did not want to have to style his hair or use product in it, both of which I feel will be necessary as it now sticks up in the back without. Our stylist was distracted throughout as she was helping the other employee count the cash drawer and deal with walk in clients. We had a really great experience! Both kids loved the place. Our seven year old boy won't stop talking about the awesome video games and our five year old daughter was so pumped for the glitter, getting her nails painted and her hair styled. The staff was very courteous and worked hard to make sure we were satisfied with the cuts. This is an awesome place for kids and makes what can be a stressful experience so much easier. read more

As much as I'd like to say that this was a great experience......it just wasn't. I made an appointment for my girls to get a mini manicure for a little pampering. When we walked in they acted like they were in a complete rush. The stylist assistant took us back to the nail station....there were about 10 colors to choose from. Both of my girls chose a purple color (appeared to be very little left in the bottle). The stylist assistant began to paint their nails...and made almost no conversation with them. She didn't do anything that you'd get in a typical manicure. Strictly just applied nail polish...no top coat...nothing else. I realize that for $8 that it's not going to be much but this was the bare minimum. To make matters worse, the polish must have been old due the fact that it wouldn't dry and just smeared on their nails even 30 minutes after leaving. This visit was a first and a last. read more
